The app always had the same coupon for 40% off one regular priced item– which you can use on Cameo and Silhouette products. Michael’s usually excludes those brands from their coupon offers so def pick up those items here for a great deal

I have been here three times now and have always come away underwhelmed. Assembling jigsaw puzzles has always been one of my favorite past times. Some would even call it a prized hobby, though not the folks at the Route 1 Hobby Lobby. Upon moving to the area, I was delighted to see that there was a hobby warehouse just a short 10 minute drive from my residence. Proximity is about the best thing this place offers for me, though I should note that the entrance to the store is very hard to locate off of Route 1. Each time, I have been unable to locate the entrance and have taken a roundabout route which made the 10 minutes quickly turn into 20. Anyways, on my first visit, I scoured the entire store for jigsaw puzzles and came up empty handed, apart from some rather tacky-looking Christmas ones. It’s worth noting that this was in October. I asked an employee to point me in the direction of the jigsaw puzzle aisle and was informed that they are currently out-of-stock, apart from the Christmas-themed ones. They told me that the normal selection of puzzles would be restocked after Christmas and was told to come back at that time. And so, I returned a second time, again to no avail. No puzzles were stocked at the Route 1 Hobby Lobby, not even a Christmas puzzle. At that point, I should have just given up on the place. I must be a glutton for punishment, because I found myself back there a third time in need of some poster board and glue to assemble my recently-completed jigsaw puzzle. Needless to say, this puzzle was not purchased at the Route 1 Hobby Lobby. I asked the sales associate to help me locate the puzzle glue and was informed that they do not carry puzzle glue because they do not carry puzzles. This statement, and the matter of fact tone in which it was said baffled me. If assembling jigsaw puzzles is not a hobby, then I don’t know what is. I guess something which involves poster board, as they fortunately do stock that item. I guarantee if the category was«Hobbies» on Family Feud, «Jigsaw puzzles» would be one of the top responses. If assembling jigsaw puzzles is not a hobby, than what is it? A competitive sport? A 9-to-5 job? A way of life? I am sincerely bewildered by the irony that a store called«Hobby Lobby» does not carry a single jigsaw puzzle or accessory. Even more bizarre is the fact that Hobby Lobby carries puzzles on their website! Maybe it’s just this store? Saving graces of the store are the courteous staff, as well as the sizable selection of things useful for virtually every hobby apart from assembling jigsaw puzzles. For this, I will rate it 2 stars. They have obviously lost my business in the jigsaw puzzle department. I would likewise think twice about returning, even for an unrelated hobby product given the misinformation I received and general runaround I have experienced each time as a customer here.

Wow, what an awesome store. I spent hours in there. Just amaZing. I drove 25 miles to get there and it was worth it. Loved it and can’t wait to go back. Must warn you, if you go, make sure you have lots of time, because you will want to see it all… Prices were great and unlike ac Moore and micheals, they actually had more than one register opened for a quick check out.

As a frequent shopper of stores like AC Moore, Michaels and Dick Blick, I was impressed during our first time at Hobby Lobby today. They have something for everyone. While I expected a quick stop for a few things, we stayed for over an hour walking down the many aisles that make up this hugh hobby store. If art supplies is your thing, they have a fairly-decent selection. The don’t compare with a Dick Blick when it comes to the wide selection of art supplies, since that’s Blick’s main focus. The Wilton baking section is smaller than AC Moore, but they do stock most of the common items that you would want from Wilton. I really enjoyed their selection of small tables and large mirrors, especially those made with distressed wood framing. If you join their email list as I’ve done, you’ll receive frequent emails with specials and discounts. When in the Lawrenceville/Plainsboro/Princeton NJ area, you should plan a trip to Hobby Lobby to check it out. Hopefully, you’ll be as impressed as I was.

Well HLFINALLY grew a brain and put one in this area!!! I was so pumped when I found out they were close to home and that I didn’t have to wait to visit my aunt in the south to go here. Imagine if Pier One, Joann Fabrics, Michaels and Home Goods had a baby… this would be the glorious product!!! I’d be writing a review for hours if I listed everything they sold here, but know you could literally spend HOURS here and not see everything!!! Hobby Lobby is my FAVORITE store and I’m glad there’s not one closer to me or I’d be broke!

I have been anticipating the opening of Hobby Lobby for the past few months. There are many HLs down south and they are slowly working their way north. If you have never been to a Hobby Lobby, you are in for a treat. The best way to describe the store is that it is a mix of A.C. Moore and Home Goods. They have everything from crafts, fake flowers, vases, custom framing, frames, paintings, holiday/seasonal décor, man cave décor, fabric, buttons. I really could go on forever. The store is pretty big and very clean. As I perused around the store, I noticed one woman dusting and another woman sweeping the floors. A few workers even greeted me as I shopped and asked me if I needed assistance. Any negatives? I had received a 40% off a regular price item coupon in the mail. Seems great, right? However, as I walked around the store I noticed that practically everything was on sale. I love sales, don’t get me wrong, but don’t send me a coupon that I can’t use! Remember, the house always wins. In the end the«coupon» got me in the store and I still ended up spending more than I had intended.
