Hank is the best mechanic I have ever used. We’ve been going to him exclusively for years and recommend him to everyone. Hardworking, honest and reliable. Since he works alone there are times when he can’t answer the phone or the repair takes slightly longer, but it’s worth it. You can put your trust in Hank.

Hank’s is great. Have been going to him for years even in old location off Firmona. Doesn’t try to up-​sell unnecessary repairs. Trust worthy mechanic!

I have been going to Hanks for years he does great work at a fair price

Go to hanks if you want to pay money and stall out two days later!!! Shadiest mechanic in Southbay. He gave me a range of how much it would cost to fix my car ($ 250-​$ 1000). I say okay and to let me know the exact diagnosis and an exact figure. The man doesn’t have the decency/​professionalism to call me to inform me of the issues or give me an exact number of what it would cost. I call in to check on the status of my car and he answers that my car is ready. I was surprised that he was bold enough to fix my car without giving me an exact figure and diagnosis. He tried to rationalize this by saying that if he had found that fixing my car was anymore than $ 400 he would have gave me a call to give me the diagnosis and exact figure but figured that since it was «only» $ 320 he would just do it without informing me. Well I got my car back and stalled in the middle of the street with my dog in it less then 48 hrs later. I called back obviously frustrated and expressed this with the receptionist. Turned out the receptionist was his wife, therefore when I spoke with Hank he focused more on my conversation with his wife rather than the poor service he provided. Maybe if he staffed non relatives he could focus on service, what actually matters!!! Again go to hanks if you do not value your money because this gentlemen, if you can call him that, takes advantage of regular joes like me and you!
