We toured the vineyard as a possible wedding site and could not have been happier with our trip. The vineyard has been in the owners family for generations and you could tell by the knowledge that our guide had while giving us a tour of the grounds. The area surrounding the vineyards was beautiful and the allows for several different options for wedding ceremony’s along with receptions. I will be back in the future to taste more of the wine selections they have to offer as this truly is a great place to relax and enjoy the country side

A beautiful 40 acre farm that has been in the family for generations. In 2013 The property was chosen by Hillshire Farms for a photo shoot. They have weddings almost on a weekly basis, there were 3 couples planning theirs in just the short time I was there. It has many sitting areas both under cover and out in the open. The tasting consists of 9 wines, starting with two Chardonnays, one stainless and one barrel aged. These were by far the driest selections. The others range from Cabernet, Merlot to semi-sweets including Reisling, A Red made from Ison muscadine and a White made from Carlos and Magnolia scuppernong, by far the sweetest. Charles was very knowledgeable about the wines and also talked about the history of the farm. Will definitely be back when the grapes start blooming.

Great folks and very good wine! Tasted 9 wines and left with six bottles. Worth the trip!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The wine tasting didn’t involve marking a piece of paper, it was a full on presentation from the owners and welcomed opportunity to taste each wine. Not only did they have great tasting wine but also entertaining. I will be back.

Spent the afternoon enjoying this cool little winery. Beautiful location on a 40 acre farm, they have an intimate tasting room with a wide selection of different wines mostly from their own vines. Yes, they have non-sweet selections(e.g. Chardonnay), plus some semi-sweet Reislings and reds. The best part, quite frankly, is the relaxing setting overlooking the old homestead while conversing with the owners, Charles and Ann. We felt like we were guests in their home vs. visitors at a wine tasting. They’re great people with a dedication to becoming capable vitners in NC. Give ‘em a try! Prices reasonable and credit cards accepted.
