We were very pleased with our visit to this establishment. There aren’t many options that aren’t fast food around here, so we were pleased to stumble upon this place. We were just trying to kill some time, so we ended up having the BBQ chicken nachos. They were delicious and an original recipe created by the cook/manager. Another man, another owner told us the cook creates many of her own recipes. He was very nice, and he went to extra effort to make sure we were pleased. We will definately make it a point to eat here again when we are near. Dying to try some of the other items.

Wonderful little restaurant on main street, in downtown Laurinburg. There aren’t many options in Laurinburg for food options apart from fast food and other chain restaurants. There is not a big sign in front to draw you in but your GPS will get you to the right place. Nice atmosphere, friendly employees and a great menu full of southern staples. What impressed me the most was that they have a vegetarian menu! Good luck finding any other place within 40 miles that has anything vegetarian! I got vegetable kabobs with squash, onions and other veggies. This came with couscous, black olives and a choice of side which I chose stewed Okra. For an appetizer I went with fried green tomatoes. Highly recommended stopping here!

Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Cozy, tidy, and pleasant. They seem to take pride in the flavor and presentation of the food. Service was rather lacking, but made up for with the food. I had shrimp and grits, my wife had salmon, and kids had pasta and pizza. We all enjoyed ourselves. Surprised that the kid’s pizza was hand shaped – not a frozen, pre-made object. Kids were happy – we were happy.

The 215 On The Main has the best chicken salad in the region. A hidden jewel for this region as compared goths other local establishments. Give it a try!

OMG this is THE best place to eat. The atmosphere and staff are a pure delight. And the food, once you finally make a choice off their supberb menu you will not be disappointed! The collard egg rolls are a southern treat with a twist. And this coming from a «Yankee» who is converting to being a southern bell. And to top it off those fries green tomatoes are the epitome of southern cusine, and I do not even like tomatoes. Then dinner of chicken and waffles capped off the meal perfectly. This was the most tender and crunchiest piece of meat I have ever had. The waffle a savory pillow of heaven. The staff was a delight to talk with. If you have the chance to eat here I highly recommend it. And if you don’t visit you are truley missing out.

En route home from the beach, we chose 215 on Main for a lunch stop. Small, vintage downtown location. My partner had a pulled bbq chicken sandwich which was tasty and mild but sloppy to eat. Side order of collard greens were delicious. I had their 215 salad with grilled chicken. The salad was a generous portion with fresh pineapples, apples, strawberries, blueberries, cucumbers and pecans… simply delicious! Presentation was lovely. The only negative for me was the coffee, which I do not know how to describe.

A quaint little place tucked right downtown. The menu is eclectic with a southern flair. I wish I could have sampled a few more things. I ordered the shrimp and grits and a side of collard greens. The grits also had sausage which threw off the sweeter taste I’m used to, but it was clearly printed on the menu. The greens were sweet and good. Nice place.

Another great Unilocal find. Situated in a store front in downtown Laurinburg it is so unobtrusive that we had almost given up on finding it. They could use more prominent signing but once inside you have arrived at a very special place. The atmosphere is very comfortable both in terms of the décor and the friendliness of everyone there. The menu, though not extensive, is quite varied. We had the fried green tomato appetizer which was served with ranch dressing and an excellent hot chili sauce. My wife had the Shrimp, Sausage, and Grits which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had the New Orleans Style Gumbo which was very good. There are several international dishes on the menu including an Indian dish and an African Goat Stew. We visited for fifteen minutes after dinner with Mr. Jackson who with his wife owns the restaurant. He is a delightful man on a mission to make people happy. The restaurant has only been in business since May but is already attracting a following. If you are in the area or on your way to the beach I would recommend you stop and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a very pleasant experience at this restaurant tonight. The food was very good, the ambiance was decent and the waitress and owners were very friendly and inviting. All four of us tried something different and each of us was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended if you’re passing through town like we were.

On our way to the beach from Indy, we stopped in Laurenburg for the night. This was a GREAT meal at a very reasonable price. Great wines on the menu and the food was top notch. We usually settle for a chain restaurant, but this was 5 star food in a very comfortable/casual atmosphere. Our waitress was so friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

OMG what a little gem! Sadly this town looks quite down trodden but don’t let that stop you from eating here. It’s a bright and clean little place right on «main street». When you walk in it smells like heaven. We ordered the southern eggrolls with collards and smoked turkey inside and they were DELISH! Lots of flavor and smokiness and super crispy but not greasy at all. Hubby and ordered the shrimp and grits and DD had the fried chicken breast. All of was just superb. The grits were creamy and cheesy and lots of flavor and happily for us not made with the Andouille sausage. The dish could’ve had a few more shrimp but all in all it was a great dish. Our daughter devoured her chicken sandwich, so we guess it was good :~) If you are passing through this little town you really should stop here for lunch or dinner!

Absolutely, unquestionably, the very best place to eat in Scotland County, NC. Delicious Southern classics(chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes) in a stylish, laid back setting. Can’t wait to come back.

I stopped by today and found them closed. There was no announcement on the door but the chairs were stacked and the dishes we piled up on dining tables. Call before you make a trip.

We stopped at 215 on the tail end of a Gulf Coast road trip, so we were both pretty worn out and ready to get home. But 215 proved to be a good choice; the service was friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. It’s nice to see a local independent establishment bringing business back to Main Street, and we’d happily stop here again.

I was in the area, so I found this place on Trip Advisor, listed as the number one place in Laurinburg to eat. The waitress was nice. However, I asked which entrée she suggested and she told me the chicken, broccoli, and sausage pasta was the best, but when it arrived it was so bland. I probably dumped two teaspoon of salt and pepper on it, and there was still no helping it. I also ordered their chocolate cake, since all of their desserts are supposed to be homemade, but it tasted like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for five days. The food is below mediocre, and when I saw that Laurinburg had a Golden Corral, I said I would have rather eaten there and that is not saying much.
