Dr. Damm is a hard working old school practitioner who respects his patient’s time and doesn’t talk down to them. He helped me with a couple of different skin issues while educating me about them. He’s a gem.

After researching many providers, I was confident that Dr. Damm would be a great Derm to go to. Unfortunately, he does not accept United Healthcare :-(

Dr. Damm diagnosed me with a glandular condition that sees me breakout irregularly and without any reason seemingly. It is a life-long condition and he prescribed a topical gel that seemed very effective treating the acne. As of recent, I have been financially unable to have this prescription filled, but I was lucky enough to not see any major breakouts… until last week. I was originally given over 30 refills, so imagine my surprise when I called it in to be filled and it was refused. «The doctor wants to see you first». Thinking this may be a misunderstanding, I called the office and was met with a rather irritable receptionist. «He won’t call it(prescription) in. It’s been two years since you’ve been in». I reassured her that I have a LIFE-LONG condition that is NOT going to change, per Dr. Damm’s diagnosis. «Two years», is all she kept saying. I had a job interview and really needed something to clear this up because… let’s face it… a face full of huge red welts is not the first impression I want to make. I explained this to this receptionist and even agreed to keep my appointment(scheduled for a week after the interview). «Two years», is all she kept saying. Great. I’m seeing another dermatologist. The doctor may or may not even be at fault here, but no one seemed to really care about anything except getting me there to collect money from me that I don’t have and tell me, «Yup. Still got that condition.»

I saw Dr. Damm for painful hand eczema that my old prescription steroid cream had become ineffective on. He was receptive to my concerns about different treatments while I’m still nursing a baby, so he prescribed a cream that I can use while breastfeeding. He also offered an old school tincture for the terrible cracks that I get all over my finger tips. He didn’t rush me through even though I had a number of issues and questions. And I found myself feeling at ease with his bedside manner. Having rashes can feel really embarrassing, but Dr. Damm was matter-of-fact and very helpful. I’ll go back to him again, for sure.

My whole family sees Dr Damm. We get very good care at this office. We find him to be friendly, respectful and very knowledgable. I can often times get a same day appointment if I need one. The wait in his office is also quite short — I would say no more than 10 minutes. Front desk people are great, too. I would recommend Dr Damm to anyone who needs a dermatologist.

I figure I will counter this bad review because Dr. Damm was one of the most friendly knowledgeable Doctors I have ever had. He seems to really like his job and is extremely intelligent. Great guy. Great Doc.

I was a patient of Dr. Damm. I saw him the first time and he did the typical check up(removal of clothing, looking at all moles due to my family’s history of melanoma). This year, I went to see him for my annual check up. I was in that room less than five minutes. He did not do an entire body checkup… I pointed out the moles I was concerned about/watching and he was dismissive and had me out of that office in very short order. I went for my annual GYN visit. When she did my breast exam, she saw the moles I was worried about and had shown to Dr. Damm. She wasn’t concerned about two of them. The third one she told me was suspect and she wanted me to see a dermatologist. I went to a different dermatologist and he looked me over(VERY thorough)…he also was concerned about the mole by GYN had pointed out and he did a biopsy. I’m awaiting the results. If you want a thorough exam, do not see this physician.
