These apartments are awesome. The Good –Rent is more than competitive for the area and square footage of the apartments. I rent a studio loft with beautiful high ceilings(my friends frequently call this a sitcom apartment because it seems so picture-perfect) and the rent is much less than I would’ve paid for a plain old apartment somewhere else in Laurel. –The location is much quieter than you would imagine. I rarely hear much of anything besides the odd car door slamming and sirens heading towards I-95. It’s quiet and safe enough that leaving the windows open at night doesn’t feel dicey. The other upside of the location is you’re on Main Street, within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, salons, theatres, churches, loads of dentists/doctors, just about anything you could want. –Office staff are awesome. Leon helped walk us through the entire application process and since moving in has checked in to make sure everything is going well. –Maintenance is prompt and the requests can be submitted online. The Okay –The only downside to the studio lofts is the summer utility bills for cooling the space. However, if you go in knowing this and prepared to pay over the summer and then save during the winter months when you’re benefitting from everyone else’s heat rising, you’ll be fine. Overall, these apartments are beautiful. Don’t expect tons of fancy amenities or the latest and greatest, but do expect a crazy-good deal and an apartment you are excited to live in.
