Small joint(only one table for seating). Friendly staff. Good food and fair prices. I’ll definitely be visiting again.

Decent fairly priced breakfast fare. Get donuts right after they’re made. On Tuesday I bought 3 Boston Creams and shared warm with 2 mates at the train station 2 blocks away. Rave reviews on the donuts.

Simple menu makes deciding easy. Amazing fresh donuts to die for. I always get an egg and cheese on a croissant and a glazed donut. Price is always reasonable and service is fast and friendly.

Once I had one of the Laurel Tavern’s doughnuts I couldn’t eat any other establishment’s doughnuts without wishing it was a Laurel Tavern’s. All the others don’t have flavor and just don’t have the doughnut eating experience that these have! «L.T.» Makes all others taste generic!

Very good breakfast sandwiches made fresh. Better prices then the fast food places, and far superior taste. Haven’t even tried the donuts yet but they look delicious!

Melt in your mouth donuts! Had the glazed twist, chocolate long john with white filling and coconut covered. Long john had filling injected from both ends = fabulous!

OMG so good. Melt in your mouth doughnuts. Bought half dozen. Got 2 coconut, 2 chocolate and 2 Bavarian crème. They didn’t last long. Better than those chain doughnut stores.

Would have got more stars but the customer service is severely lacking. When I walked in I received a dirty look. Then I asked what filling was in the donut she says custard. Then I go to get a plain one she says well that has jelly in it. So I told her nevermind I don’t want a half dozen. That really pissed her off. Very small selection at 12 on a Sat. Just go to the amish market where they have tons of delicious fresh donuts and they are friendly. Plus the place was dirty looking. Oh and don’t bring your kid in she really hated that!

Not what I expected but still good. I got a scrapple egg and cheese on toast. While they were fixing it I checked out the pastry case. The chocolate twist was soft and fresh. My sandwich was delicious. If I’m in the area I’ll surely return.

Hand-made donuts, cheap breakfast sandwiches, sliders, all in an old Little Tavern building. Rolled in here Saturday morning craving some sliders; they usually don’t serve them until lunchtime, but the nice folks slapped some fresh ones on the grill for me. Take THAT, McDonalds! These were thicker than the old style perforated grey slabs, but they were served on grilled onions and a steamy bun and tasted awesome. Picked up a dozen donuts and they too were great; fresh, soft, not too sweet. I’ll still go to the Tastee across the street for a sitdown meal, but for a bag of sliders or donuts, this is the place. We’re lucky to still have it around.

I LOVE this place! It’s a hidden gem in a rundown little building, but the food is full of love. The doughnuts are so light and fresh… They melt in your mouth. The glazed and maple are my favorite. I also like the glazed and cinnamon twists. The breakfast sandwiches are good(nothing too special, but real bacon, eggs, sausage on plain wheat or white like you would make at home). The prices are very reasonable although the sandwiches could be a bit cheaper. I enjoy this spot when I need a special treat.

My dad and brother brought these back yesterday and got a box of the twisted glazed donuts. They were incredibly soft and sweet but not too overly sugary. Its definitely a dive, it literally looks like a tiny shack next to some auto repair places but the donuts are amazing.

I love these donuts. Specifically, the twist ones are my favorite. They’re perfectly cooked, old fashion style, and I love that they aren’t too sweet. I also appreciate that the donuts here don’t leave that waxy coating in your mouth like they do at Dunkin or other big name places. I took one star off because there is often not much selection, but that isn’t a big deal to me since I prefer the usual ones anyway. Also, I don’t particularly care for their breakfast sandwiches. They aren’t bad, but I like my bread toasted in a toaster, not browned on a griddle(the effect is obviously different). It should be noted that they are NOT open on Sundays, even though their hours on Unilocal state they are.

I was ok my way to Columbia Maryland, and Unilocaled donuts. Tavern donuts popped up, so I have it a try. The donuts are not fancy. They look like your typical donuts. There wasn’t very much left, so I wish I would have gotten there sooner to see the other varieties. Anyways, I got a dozen for about $ 9, so it’s fairly reasonable compared other places. One single donut is 79 cents Don’t let the look of the donut fool you! You know how some donut places sell donuts that taste like bread or it’s not as fluffy or soft? Well, this place has soft– fluffy donuts– I took a bite out of the white sugared coconut frosting one, and it was soooo soft! I was surprised that’s the donut was so soft!!! It almost tasted like krispy kreme! I was very happy, and I tried the other donuts in the box and they were all consistent. The donuts here are soooo soft and it feels so gooooood to sink your teeth into them! Love the donuts here! Again, nothing fancy, just soft donuts!

Literally a hole in the wall – I don’t know how they have space to cook the donuts much less have a counter. Small, unassuming building houses the most delicious fresh donuts. No Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme imitations here – it’s the real deal without the fake taste of refrigerated prepackaged dough mix. Best of all, you can sometimes score a warm one. Yum!

A tiny little shack, hidden on a one way street in downtown Laurel. If you weren’t looking for it, you’d never find them. Thank god for GPS. The folks inside were friendly and making up the sliders and burgers on their flattop right in front as I walked in, so it was a no-brainer to grab some for lunch. I also couldn’t resist the donuts, because they’re A) delicious and B) FREAKINGHUGE. The Boston Crème I got was seriously the size of my fist, and I have BIG hands. For a sack of burgers and a half dozen donuts to take home with me, I spent just over $ 10. Well worth it, and totally a place to try if you’re in the area.

This place is so over passed in Laurel. This place is of course a doughnut joint but they sell the best mini burgers(aka sliders). The meat is steamed and well seasoned topped with onions, catsup, mustard and pickles. You can also add bacon if that’s your thing. The bun is so soft which sets these burgers up oh so nice. They also sell breakfast and subs as well. The doughnut I tried was the simple glazed twisty. It was good soft and fresh; very sweet. So go check em out!

Great donuts! Bought a dozen for 6 frat boys who were friends of my boyfriend’s lil bro and they inhaled them. The donuts are almost as good as Alpha Donuts in Queens, NY or Peter Pan’s in Brooklyn! Better than dunkin donuts and the egg and cheese sandwich was prepared quickly and in a tasty way! I highly recommend them if you are a donut fan. Not open on sundays! The staff were friendly. Seemed like a mother son duo when I went.

Ok… so I love donuts, pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon… well, basically anything you have for breakfast, soooo when I saw this little hut with a sign that said, «DONUTS,» I had to stop in. Yes, their window is cracked, and the place looks a little shady, but I thought if I get sick, at least, I can understand why… LOL. Anywho, the two women in there working were so sweet. I got 3 donuts and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on wheat.(No, I didn’t eat all of that by myself… come on you guys… lol). Can I tell you guys something? That sandwich was just like home made. I mean I was in heaven, floating on a cloud eating my sandwich as I dreamt about more visits to the land of donuts! I will be back again and again and again. They will be literally sick of me before its all over.
