Buffet Palace

Buffet Palace is the best Asian Buffet in Laurel – it is in the old Ryan’s restaurant. I have eaten here several times and the price for lunch is better than anywhere in town at the cost of $ 6.59. From salads to hot bar the food is tasty and of good quality especially for this small town establishment. I was impressed by the extensive variety of offerings and the polite service. The offerings are generous and the entire place is very clean. The sushi and hibachi stations are generally well stocked and manned. If you want better go to one place I reviewed in Hattiesburg. But if you don’t want to go that far, this is the best bet for fresh quality and your hard earned money’s worth. It is a general menu affair but far better than anything else offered in town and at a fair price. It’s my ONLY go to Chinese in Laurel.

This restaurant is not near as good as Buffet City! The macaroni was brown and gross and the sweet&sour chicken, honey chicken, etc was tough and very chewy, so much that I was afraid I might lose a crown. Some of the stir fry was good, but not all. It appeared that it hadn’t been stirred in a while. Don’t waste your time out here. I just pray we don’t get sick now…

This new restaurant is nice inside and very spacious. The dinner I had was very good with a wide selection. I put this restaurant as being equal to its competitor Buffet City.
