So many issues here. .. 1 — this truly isn’t Laurel Springs, but Blackwood or Chews Landing. 2 — there are too many young kids that don’t give a crap about their jobs working here 3 — two major pharmacy screw ups, which have prompted me to write this review… Yesterday I faxed a prescription that I was on the last day of to the pharmacy. Today I called to check on the status. I was told that they didn’t have the full order(of 30 pills) so they could give me a partial(tonight), which was more than acceptable to me. I go to pick the medication up through drive through, made the transaction then checked the bag before pulling out. It was in a white box, which made me think something was wrong b/c I’ve NEVER seen that before. Well, my name was on the box/script and my APN’s name but I’d never heard of the med — tablets in a blister pack and they were for some type of hormone replacement!!! WTH?! I buzzed the pharmacy aid and(politely) told her of my plight and she asked me to send the med back. She came back again and told me that she needed to talk to the pharmacist. After almost 10 minutes, the pharmacist comes back and blankly tells me that«it’s not in.» «I called this morning(she has a thick accent — I know it was her!) and you told me. ..(blah, blah, blah see above). No apology at all — just repeats herself. I said«so this was the wrong medicine then?!» I asked. «Yes.» No explanation or squat! I was getting so irritated, as was my antsy daughter in the passenger seat w/all the waiting. The pharmacist then tells me that the medication would be ordered and ready ‘tomorrow.’ I said something else(forget what but nothing nasty) that begged for further clarification and she finally said«I apologize» — no expansion so I guess no guilt or ownership!!! I’m picking up my medication tomorrow and am done my patronage at this store and am sending a written letter as well to boot. I work for a very large company and have for years and I’m well versed in customer service and providing exception CS — this woman totally ruined a regular customer for both the pharmacy and store. This stinks for me b/c this Rite Aid is literally around the corner from me and very convenient but this was the last straw!!! (I will honestly add that the other male pharmacist Bill is tops — always friendly, knowledgeable, patient and helpful). What a shame.
