Terrible food, awful service. We had dined here late night, and they seem to rotate the servers to every table. Not attentive, and the food was BLAH! I had heard good things about the local one, but this one was crap. The flat bread I had was not even crisp!

Worst service in my life. They took 30 minutes to take our order. Just to say they were out of baked potatoes & soup which came with our meal. We substituted it for mashed potatoes. When I got my order my steak was full of blood and instead of mixed veggies they had gave me zucchini. So I complained to the manager and he re did my order. I was tired of being there so I got it to go. And when I got to my hotel noticed my steak was full of fat. Also we got a whole coconut cream pie to go and it tasted like a old refrigerator.

Very slow service! Asked for manager and the manager never came. We were a party of 6 and we walked out after waiting over an hour for our food to arrive.

I gave 5 stars because of our server. We went in the middle of the night after a crazy night of drinking and had the guy with the long blond hair as our server, vince. He was super attentive and really funny. The food was what you’d expect from a Coco’s, it was good, but nothing super special. Vince really made the experience great. For being the only server, he was on his game. Definitely deserves some kudos from his boss!

We decided to eat at a well known place, Coco’s is location In the Edgewood Hotel Casino, we were seated pretty fast and a server took our order for drinks also pretty much fast. We sat there for about 15 mins. a waitress came running to our table saying she was sorry and she was no going to lie that she just forgot about us and our table, we ordered an omelette with pancakes, and the cinnamon French toast combo breakfast that came with three slices of cinnamon roll dipped in a egg batter and grilled it came with two scrambled eggs two turkey patty… no presentation here, the food was just OK nothing to write home about, we had to wait in a long line to pay the bill, there is no restroom inside Coco’s its on the outside in the lobby area near the gift shop, so with this being said probably will not eat here again I have experienced better.

In all honesty, the only things that helped even give 2 stars, was our first server Candy, and the food. Because the food was actually really good. We ate here our first day in Laughlin, we had a late start and moseyed in around 3:30. We were seated in a booth by the river and had a view of the dock and the London Bridge Jet Boat. Our server, Candy, was literally the sweetest woman ever. She referred to her tables as «my table» and she made sure everything stayed topped off before it got more than ¾ empty. When we placed our order, we settled on breakfast because. who doesn’t get breakfast if it’s available? Like, I’ll eat breakfast anytime of day or night. It’s bomb yo! Anyhow — I picked the Raspberry Stuffed French Toast and BF got the Brioche Eggs Benedict with country potatoes on the side. It took about 20 minutes for our food to come out, but when you’re on vacation, there’s no rush. Candy told us that the weekend had been so hectic that they needed 7 servers when they usually only have two. Now, on our first trip Candy did fabulous, and we didn’t mind the wait because they were still kind of busy. On the second visit, our server was dingy, and she really wasn’t able to assist us because her and the hostess were running back and forth HELPING the cooks make the orders! They literally sent everyone home, on only the second day after a holiday weekend. Ugh! Not acceptable, and even less so to not inform us until after our orders were placed. People were trying to pay for their orders and go, and they couldn’t even do that, because there was no one at the register! I feel like a horrible person cancelling food orders because I don’t know if part of my plate is finished or not and I am against wasting food because I know that there are people/children out there without. So I could not bring myself to leave. I felt bad, but the BF was okay with my decision to stay, even though I ended up being really upset about how long it took for our orders. Second visit — we ended up being there for almost 2 hours. First visit — 45 minutes. It takes a lot to upset me, and I was shaking. From lack of food in part, but I’m pretty sure my blood was almost at a boil. Must’ve forgot to turn off the burner. Anyhow, back to the breakfast grub. It’s all about nostalgia. And comfort food. When I was younger, my grandparents took us to Coco’s for breakfast during school holidays and stuff because there was one near their house in Lakewood. So I did get the familiar tingle of my tummy grumbling. Visit 1, I ordered the Raspberry Stuffed Brioche French Toast, and it was very sweet, and yet, filling. I ordered it with scrambled eggs, and bacon. The sweetness of the cream filling inside the toast was cut down by the bacon side that I ordered, and that was super helpful because it was actually kind of to sweet with the raspberry on top, the whipped cream, and the creams filling. Eggs Benny with a nice hollandaise. Yum! BF ordered it on day one with no avocado, extra hollandaise, and country taters(home fries). I ended up ordering it on the second visit with avocados and hash browns, and I understand why he liked it so much. The sauce was creamy and was tasty for being from Coco’s — I know right? The eggs were filling, and the yolk(again not a huge yolk fan), helped with easing the thickness of the brioche bread it lay atop. A good choice before a day of jet skiing, so I’d get that again. BF got the Smoked Gouda Hash omelette on trip two and I ended up eating half and giving him half of the Benny! I LOVE Gouda, it has always been my favourite cheese, so when I got a taste of the smokey, creamy goodness blended perfectly with a zesty potato hash inside of a fluffy egg? Oh good lawd! It was so, so, so yummy! I will probably end up finding a better recipe on Pinterest at some point lol! Gosh, so good! The French toast I would do again, but maybe minus the whipped cream. I was happy with the fact that our drinks and my coffee continually stayed filled, even during the ridiculously long wait… so good on for that. The food was tasty, filling and had all of the nostalgia of my childhood. Thank god the food hasn’t changed much! Honestly, I would come back, strictly for the food and only if I could clearly see that they had enough staff on hand to cover everyone. Otherwise, I’d definitely go elsewhere. Kinda sad that you don’t see many Coco’s anymore, where are the places of our youth going? Maybe that’s why the service wasn’t that great :/oh well. at least my tummy was happy with me!

I got a prime rib here once, it was 50 percent fat, I just got a scampi style shrimp pasta and they cooked the pasta so long it melted together in clumps, and the shrimp wasn’t even deskinned I keep telling the people who want to come here that not only is the service horrible, but the food isn’t great. Edit: I got my meal switched with a new York style steak and it was flavorless, in fact the first steak I’ve ever had to use A1 sauce on, but it was given free on my meal, but like most restaurants I’ve been to in this town I didn’t get a refill on my drink so I know to pace myself on that so I don’t die of thirst.

We were in Laughlin and it was after dinner and wanted pie. We went to this Coco’s and found some good pie a la mode at this clean casino restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the pie was very tasty.

30 minutes! This is how long it took for three meals. Nothing fancy here. Steak hash, chicken fried steak and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. What we got after the 30 minutes was, over seasoned veggies, cold broccoli, a frozen chicken patty for the chicken fried steak and a chicken sandwich. Wait? A chicken sandwich, I thought we order a Philly cheesesteak. On top of the 30 minutes to get our food, it took 20 minutes to get our order placed. You might be wondering if they were slammed. Um, no! There were maybe 12 tables of people. We even asked the manager to take our order and she said that she was not allowed to take orders. Are you serious?! Also, if you’re thirsty you may want to consider bringing your own drinks. Water seems to pretty scarce around here.

Coco’s is the café serving Edgewater Hotel and Casino. It seems like yesterday when Coco’s was the café serving the majority of the Station casinos. In recent years when Coco’s and Carrow’s merged, you can say they ran the majority of their Nevada restaurants off the road. The upshot is that within a hundred mile radius of Las Vegas, there are only two Coco’s restaurants remaining(the other Coco’s is at Tropicana and Koval). Dining in the Laughlin Coco’s today is a similar experience to the Perkin’s Family Restaurant across the Colorado River off Arizona Route 95 being that two formerly powerful chains are down to one or two locations within a hundred mile radius of Las Vegas. In my opinion it is a dining experience combining nostalgia with good comfort food at a reasonable price. If only I had known that Coco’s is more than pies, I’d have made more trips when they had a presence in Las Vegas. I was impressed by their $ 5.99 Everyday Breakfast special. The morning after my brother and I had spent a night in the Edgewater Hotel, we were up for a decent breakfast before a day of walking in the casino District. The line for the newly opened Dunkin Donuts overextended beyond the lobby. We headed downstairs, by the Riverwalk entrance to the Edgewater where Coco’s exists near the Buffet. Coco’s appeared to be well managed. In spite of the popularity of the restaurant we were seated right away. A few minutes later, coffee was placed on the clean table and the waitress took our orders. Before stepping foot inside Coco’s, my mind was set on the $ 5.99 Everyday Breakfast special that would approach $ 10 with coffee, tip, and tax. And what an extraordinary breakfast special. Coco’s gives the customer three steps of decisions in creating a breakfast combo. This paragraph discusses The Everyday Breakfast special. First off, it is served with either two eggs any style, country potatoes, hash browns, or fruit. The scrambled eggs give restaurants that I recently dined in including 50s Diner and Coffee Cup a run for the money. But the scrambled eggs fell short of one of the best I ever had at Coo Coos Café in downtown Henderson. The second choice is from two slices of smoked applewood bacon, two country sausage links, or one turkey patty. I was happy with the smoked applewood bacon. The third choice is from two freshly made buttermilk pancakes, a fresh baked coffee cake, fresh baked muffin, and fresh baked biscuit. I ordered the fresh baked buttermilk pancakes complimented with maple syrup. As part of a $ 5.99 deal I will omit comparing them to the IHOP pancakes overflowing with fruit. Coco’s unexpected premium coffee complimented the everyday breakfast special with consistent refills. With Coco’s predominantly gone from the Las Vegas market, it is not everyday that you can enjoy a Coco’s Everyday Breakfast special. If Coco’s sticks around in Laughlin, there will be someday that I might return for a filling, tasty breakfast with premium coffee that is $ 10.

If I didn’t enjoy the food so much I’d probably never step foot in a CoCo’s again. I have yet to experience decent service at one of their locations but this one was by far the worst. My mom and I stopped in for some dessert while staying at the Edgewater. The server never once smiled at us and practically slammed the waters down on the table. When we started ordering she cut us off and walked away, returning momentarily to let us know they were out of what we ordered. When we went with our second choice she did it again. Third time was the charm. She came back, dumped our pies and we never saw her again. Not once. No one came by our table. We finally stepped up to the cashier and requested our check. When we explained our experience(not that she asked) she rolled her eyes and didn’t acknowledge our complaint. I should have asked to speak to the manager but at that point I was so aggravated I just paid the bill and left.

It’s a Coco’s, nothing special, just some basic bites. We had a family dinner here with about 15+ people after a wedding rehearsal. Probably ordered everything under the sun except for the prime rib which they were out of. However, the prime rib sandwich and burger options were still available. Service was pretty good considering the huge group, one of the servers didn’t get back to my question after I asked but I eventually got the answer from somebody else. Waters and drinks were constantly refilled and meals were brought out in a timely manner. I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich which was some prime rib meat squeezed between two slices of sourdough. It seemed pretty basic in both flavor and presentation and wasn’t anything memorable or worth writing home about. Hindsight being 20⁄20 I’m thinking that maybe I should have went with the burger. I did get an order of sweet potato fries which were nice and crispy. The complimentary bread that was set between each 2 – 3 people was actually pretty good. Restrooms are completely outside the restaurant in the casino hall, so there is a bit of an awkward walk if you need to use them. The staff was kind and helpful, the food was average and given that there really aren’t too many options for a reasonably priced family meal within the casino strip, this is one of the few options you may have. This Coco’s is average at best but it isn’t terrible

Kevin was an outstanding waiter! We came here 3 times in 24 hours while staying at the Edgewater. We loved it. We are on The Atkins diet and they did anything we asked them to help us not blow our eating plan. They even substituted bacon or sausage and/or side salad for pancakes and hash browns. We had the multi $ 5.99 breakfast specials and the California omelette and 8 oz prime rib with Au jus and horseradish. Blows Denny’s out of the water. Never wanted to try the buffet at this casino.
