Wonderful place. Would recommend to any one that enjoys fine dining. The crepes are to die for, but there steakes are a special treat. Edward Miller

It’s incredibly deceptive at first glance in a strip mall, but this place is great. The service was excellent(they could not have been nicer), the portions are enormous, and the quality/taste was great. We will definitely be back.

We went here last night with a party of 4, a lovely quaint restaurant with exceptional food. we started with mussels that I couldn’t get enough of. My main course was the trout that was mouth watering. The Pinot Grigio was flowing. and for dessert we shared a wild berry crêpe that words can’t describe. My mouth is watering as I write this. The service was fantastic and it truly was a French experience.

This is our favorite restaurant as a couple or as a group. Walk in and the warmth greets you immediately. It us as authentic as a French restaurant in Florida can be. The food is exceptional. The trout is best around … The mussels and escargot are so tasty prepared in butter sauce with garlic … The desserts are«to die for». Love this place!!!

This place is in such a plaza you would never notice it’s in there. My boyfriend and I just stopped by for some coffee and dessert crepes, it’s was amazing ! I love how dim it’s in the restaurant very romantic and the decorations I thought were cute. The cappuccino was delicious, a little expensive and the chocolate éclair and chocolate fudge with ice cream crêpe was great. I will come back another day for dinner.

The wildberry crêpe alone deserves 5 stars. Service was so attentive and sweet every time I have been here. And the food has never disappointed.

The NICEST people you’d want serving you! All of them. A frequent customer also helped me to my car in the pouring rain with his umbrella. This was my first visit and far from my last. This was one day after my HORRIBLE experience at La Tour Eiffel in Miami. Finally enjoyed those crepes I craved from a decent place.

The people running the place are kind, attentive, and bring about an air of class and genuine caring. The food on the other hand, is rather heavy, and ultimately does not match the high price. However, this quality varies widely between dishes, as while their«ratatouille» was just bland steamed veggies, their chocolate mousse is absolutely delightful,

Came in just for dessert today. Friendly service. Beautiful ambience. Love the décor!!! I definitely want to come back for an actual meal one day. I ordered a gigantic strawberry crêpe with ice cream and my boyfriend got a scrumptious crème brûlée. Yummmmm!

West Broward lucked out. Not too many French food choices. This is quite the charm. Excellent atmosphere of a small bistro in France with that nice music. The best fish in south Florida. The crepes are very good and under $ 20. However it’s the other choices that make this place special. Frog Legs, bouillabaisse. Different soups ect. The desserts are unbelievable also. A fruit crêpe to die for.

Ever since my trip to France, I have been craving French food. I’ve had this place bookmarked for quite some time now because of the reviews. We were immediately greeted and seated. Got our menus, drinks and our orders were taken promptly. Things seemed promising. It’s a decent size restaurant, very cozy and cute. Little decorative items all along the walls. There’s also French music playing in the background. It’s a nice casual place, you can either come here to enjoy food with friends or have a romantic date. Our first course was escargots. These escargots were of course drenched in butter and seasoned with garlic. Yum! Garlic and butter, can’t go wrong with that combination. Next came the chef’s pâté. This is when all the huge disappointments start. It was just so salty. I had to eat it with a lot of bread. For the entrée, I ordered duck with berry sauce, which came with a side soup. I decided to try their rendered down fish head soup with a tomato base that’s got a spicy kick. Sounded interesting. The soup came out and it smelled great. First spoonful of soup later, I was shocked. I just had a spoon of salt shoved down my mouth. It was just so darn salty I had to down a glass of water. What is up with all the salt? I just don’t get it. This is also when service started to die down. The restaurant was busy when we came in and it was still busy throughout the entire meal. Not sure why things started to slow down with service. We finally got our entrée and I was hoping this was going to save the meal. Again, to my utter disappoint the duck was just not done right. It was cooked at a high temperature which overcooked it and although the skin was nice and crispy it was burnt. The meat was dry and they drenched it in berry sauce to cover up the dryness. Really? If you’re a good chef, you would not need to do this. The meat is supposed to be the star of the dish and the sauce just a compliment. The duck was way over priced for what it was too. At this point, I’m just depressed. I was hesitant on getting dessert, especially for the fact that it took so long to place the order. I was crossing my fingers and hoping that the sweet crêpe would save the meal. I decided to go for the banana with ice cream and chocolate sauce crêpe. When it came out, I was excited, it was big and it was well presented. My first bite, complete disappointment. Only reason why I finished it was because I was depressed. The crêpe was just so sweet. Even the mall crepes tasted way better than this place. I really don’t understand what all these rave reviews were about.

Very disappointed. Service was terrible. It took 45 mins before we were even able to place a drink order. The quality of the food was average at best. Even though the dessert was pretty good, it was not worth the pain that was the dining experience as a whole. This was my first trip to this restaurant, and based on the poor service we recieved, it was also our last.

My husband and I have been going here for our Anniversary dinners for many years and we usually find an excuse at least a few more times each year. It is the ultimate dining experience with excellent service, atmosphere, food and wine. Go on a Thursday night for their $ 79.95 — Five course meal for 2 people… it even includes a bottle of wine! Starting with the fresh baked bread, you know it’s gonna be good. My appetizer is always the Escargot Maison. Next is a Ceasar salad. For dinner, we have had everything at least once, but my favorite is the Seafood Au Gratin because there’s sauce left over to dip more bread. Hubby’s favorite is the Trout… most meals come with these perfectly cut potatoes and julienned vegetables. Next is a cheese plate and finally dessert which tops of a perfect meal. Of course, the entire time the wait staff is refilling your glasses and making sure you have fresh bread. The service is impeccable each and every time. Call and make reservations.

Holy french experience in the heart of broward county! Amazingggggly cute french restaurant with genuine french cuisine and great french beer. I had the mussels, crêpe and couldn’t finish my chocolate mousse because the portions are HUGE! Also, the bread! Yummers!!! Warm and crusty. On top of that, the waitresses were great and explained everything on the menu. Not cheap spent $ 150 for the three of us) but totally worth it. Can’t wait to go back.

I’ve never had an authentic French crêpe until I ate here. More than just dessert food, La Creperie serves crepes stuffed with all different kinds of savory meats, sauces, fruits, and vegetables. Each plate is light, but filling and delicious. The restaurant is clean and cozy, a great place to take a romantic date. Although the staff is friendly, it did take quite a while for service to take our orders and return with food. But I do believe it is worth the wait! I had a dinner crêpe stuffed with tuna, mushrooms, swiss cheese, and white sauce. Whatever that sauce was… it is DELICIOUS! My table shared the wild berry dessert crêpe. It is a crêpe filled with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and lots of berries… If you are coming in for just dessert, I do recommend this fruity crêpe!

When I saw the word«crêpe» in my search results, I just HAD to try this place. The experience AND the food was beyond expectations. I was greeted immediately and warmly. Service was quick, and everyone was friendly and very helpful. Even though I came thinking I’d order a crêpe for dinner. One of the fish specials sounded so good, I ordered that instead(and saved my crêpe craving for dessert). The meal, sauce, and accompaniments were all excellent. The dish was visually appealing as well as tasty. They kept my water and iced tea glasses filled without prompting. I was dining a alone(me and my Nook) and I was never left waiting or wanting, which is often the case elsewhere. The house specialty dessert crêpe… Oh my goodness!!! It was heavenly. And it was large. And I ate the whole thing! I’ll be back. And I’m telling my friends about this wonderful gem.

Its very rare that i rate Any establishment 5? stars, everyone is different and everyone is impressed my different things. Quite honestly i like a little bit of finesse and an extra touch, and great cuisine. Within this review I’m going to describe not only the first time i went there but also the second time. This place is sort of hidden in on university south of commercial blvd. on university drive on the left. As you approach the door before you walk in your greeted pretty and shiny eiffel tower. I was greeted by a very nice woman with a wonderful French accent and she sat me down immediately and was very prompt. I was sort of taken a back when i heard Celine dion playing in the back ground, And the tables in glass with photos of previous guest and just alot of wonderful memorable items over the years. They are ZAGAT approved year after year ! I have had crepes but this was delicious I went there for dessert just on a whim. The second time i had escargot and AMAZING oven baked crème brûlée ! I love it! Great french cuisine. I went to another crêpe place on las olas that was equivalent to this. It just goes to show you that not all 5tar places are downtown or overly expensive ! And they allow parties.

Five enthusiastic stars! One of the best meals we have had out in ages. And it wasn’t a $$$ meal – it was cheap! Every bite was delicious and eating here was a real treat. Service was laid back, so go here if you are ready to relax and take your time. They are precise and pleasant, just not rushed. Everything gets done and food arrived piping, but don’t be in a hurry – greatness sometimes takes an extra minute. We had a brie special appetizer, two chicken crepes(basically French chicken pot pie), and the Suzette crepes for dessert. It was all phenomenal. Crepes are huge and reward you with a variety of textures, from the flaky, crispy tops to the pancake bottoms that soak up whatever sauce they swim in like a gator in the Florida sunshine. I mean, honestly. So, so very good. Honestly, don’t be put off by the Unilocal designation of $$$, which I asked them to change. Every portion was massive and it is one of the best values we have experienced dining out – not just in Florida, but anywhere.
