Adorable small children’s playground hidden off commercial avenue near A1A. The park is completely small child friendly! The entire playground is by «Little Tykes” — a brand all of us parents know and love so well. Consists of mostly plastic and rubber components with no open crevices for our cuties to fall through and NO exposed edges or screws. To make this park even MORE appealing to parents of small children, they added a sandy area around the play area, some benches(conveniently located in the shade created by two gorgeous trees), a small pavilion with a picnic table(perfect for parking infants or enjoying a snack) and easy/convenient parking. THEBESTPART of this park(that I know all parents would LOVE: This playground is 100% fenced in– seems to be a rarity at the parks we go to these days! The playground is open 7am-7pm and designed to be reminiscent of a «pirates ship». Although quite compact, it includes three slides, a ladder, steps, bridge, wheel to «drive» the ship and several platforms. Two climbing areas are in the far corners, along with a plastic crocodile to climb on and a bouncy horse. Restroom building is conveniently located next to the lot. For older children, a small basketball area and a tennis court are located adjacent to the park. Additonal features to LOVE: — Parking is located just beyond the fence, making running back and forth extra easy! — The gorgeous trees are often climbed by the kids in the park and look to be quite easy. — when your kids are done you can easily walk or drive over to AIA to Lauderdale-by-The-Sea for ice cream, a meal or more! — if you do end up with needing assistance(child climb too high up a tree?), the fire department is located RIGHT across the street! And if they do get called out, the kids will be DELIGHTED! Overall, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
