I always come here with my friends for a lunch date. The bento box is a great deal with delicious food. Will continue to be customers of this wonderful restaurant! Also, the take out is good as well. It is always hot and fresh and I’ve never had any problems.

Food is always amazing. My favorite is their Sichuuan spicy chicken, as it is always one of my comfort food. I go there for sushi, for stir fries and also the service. They are always very welcoming and friendly so I defenitely want to give them a good recommendation.

I love the food and environment there. The owner and waitress are always really nice to customers. And the food there is awesome. I love there sushi, especially the angel hair(my personal favorite). I stopped a lot of times on my way back home. It’s a place like home. Cozy, quiet, clean and people are nice. I didn’t do review thing very often, but yang’s is one of the best places I have ever been!

I’ve been to yangs many occasions and I’ve enjoyed the food a lot. The reason I’m giving it one star is because I went in today to get some lunch and before we could order, we spotted a rat or mouse running across the floor. It was disgusting. We got up and walked out and will never go there again. It’s sad because I did like the place but after seeing that I can’t go there.

Went in with my wife for lunch today. We both had the sushi sashimi lunch combo and left feeling full. We had a very good experience. Everything was fresh and well laid out.

My wife and I were on a quest to find the best Sushi restaurant in the Capital region since relocating from Florida. That quest came to an end the moment we found Yang’s! And it’s not only just their sushi. Their Thai cuisine is on point as well! The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is nice but man-o-man… Their food is out of this world delicious!

The salmon sashimi was fresh by the seaweed in my other sushi was stale. The service was super slow. I got there at 7 pm and they weren’t even that busy, but it was 45 minutes before I got my two rolls and sashimi order. Then I further made the mistake and ordered Tiramisu, which was still half frozen, ergo not fresh. I know… why would I ever order Tiramisu at an Asian restaurant? It was a rookie mistake. Did I mention that he service was slow, and they can to my table twice with the wrong order. I do not recommend this place.

This was our first time having sushi in the Capital Region. My husband and I were house hunting and got a sushi craving! Decided to go to Yangs(Thanks my fellow Unilocalers), food was great. I would’ve liked to substitute the garden salad for a seaweed salad and pay the difference as the entrees come with salad and miso soup but she wouldn’t do it and so I had two salads to fill myself with. The sushi rolls are phenomenal. Really enjoyed the food. I wish service was a tad by faster there were a lot of to go orders being made they must’ve got the priority. There’s also a $ 10 off $ 50 Unilocal deal and it wasn’t hard to spend $ 50 between two of us, we were stuffed! We will come back and most likely make this our regular spot. The place is right near the CVS in a plaza, parking can be tight but we got here at 8pm on a Saturday and had no problem locating a spot. The chefs are phenomenal. The only roll we didn’t like was the one that came with the entrée(Spicy tuna roll for the Tuna Lovers) and the(Spicy Salmon with salmon lover) I could do without the mushy/soft rolls. those were not as pleasant as the rest of the sashimi. Sashimi was excellent hence I’m not complaining! Can’t wait to be back, their special rolls all seem to be people’s favorites.

I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had at Yang’s. The servers are always so friendly. They often present in very interesting ways, like a neon light dance party in the center of our oyster platter. The sushi always tastes fresh and meals come in solid portion sizes. I also received a great coupon after checking in on my Unilocal app — so be sure to do that!

A very good option for Chinese/Japanese. Very inviting ambience. Pleasant staff. The Chinese menu has all the basics, and the sushi menu is definitely basics plus. Very creative signature rolls and large portions. We started with traditional cold sesame peanut noodles. The sauce was plentiful and perfectly balanced, and the larger udon style noodles were appropriately toothy. My husband enjoyed a large portion of General’s chicken. The chicken pieces were larger sized and pleasantly crispy. They were covered in a more sophisticated and light tangy sweet sauce than you normally find in your average Chinese eatery. My guess was hyped up garlic and some five spice. He ate the entire platter full– except for the piece I stole. I had the Two Thumbs Up roll(deserving of both), which was centered on a large and delicious soft shell crab. I also loved the two pieces of white tuna nigiri I had. They seemed very fresh and the sushi rice they rested on was perfectly cooked and had a bit of the traditional vinegar mixed right in. I considered ordering two more pieces because they melted in my mouth. The bill for all that and one craft beer was less than $ 50. We were very satiated with both the hefty portions and the unique flavors. Staff kept our water glasses filled, and were attentive and helpful through the meal. It was a very nice experience. This place is a keeper.

If you’re craving sushi, this place will do. I got the salmon sushi, and at least a third of it was fat. I also ordered unagi, which contained very little eel. However, my dinner date had Tataki, and he liked it a lot.

Favorite place to get sushi in the Capital Region. They have so many selections from basic rolls or their signature rolls. Coconut shrimp is by far the best roll. But if you’re not in the mood for sushi, they have excellent entrees from pad Thai to Thai basil or any spicy chicken/beef/seafood dish. Great restaurant with even better food and service.

This place gets the job done! If you are look for sushi that isn’t the fanciest but satisfies your craving I would check out Yangs. I’ve had a few of my favorite bites of sushi at Yangs and I would got there for an affordable lunch or dinner any day. The cons are service related: Sometimes I wouldn’t receive a refill on my water glass after the first pour after I sat down. This is not for lack of asking(wasabi is spicy ya’ll!). This has happened twice to me so now when I sit down to order a drink I ask for a water pitcher. I’m a chugger when I go out to eat and I think it’s just annoying to have to ask for every time I want to fill up. The food seems to come out just a liiiiiiitle too slow. I’ve been there when there was 3 tables filled up and a full house for dinner and the meal both times came out around the same time, after about 35 minutes of ordering. Granted they give you salads and soups(for some sushi orders) so I’m luckily not famished when the food shows up. I do like the affordability factor, I went with 3 people and our meal was less than 50 bucks(no drinks were ordered) and we used the Unilocal coupon. There’s lots of sushi options in Latham/Loudonville area but I would check it out here if you haven’t.

Went there tonight for a late dinner. I ordered the duck roll, Hong Kong wonton soup, house salad, sesame chicken and fried rice. Hubby had Filet and Lobster Hibachi with clear soup, house salad, and the accompanying sides. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was very helpful and friendly. The soups were good. The house salad and house dressing were also tasty. Duck roll, awesome. Both entrées were beautiful. Thank you for a great dinner

Nice Asian fusion of Chinese, Japanese, Thai popular items. A large menu selection of Japanese sushi, hibachi, and bento, but I was looking for Chinese or Thai rice dishes tonight. The pot stickers were light, fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked with a good dipping sauce. I tried the basil fried rice, and even though it was marked as hot and spicy, I didn’t think it was that at all and really enjoyed it! Lots to try here and know I’ll be back to try more. The sushi menu looks great and will try it on a next visit.

Ambiance is fun, food is presented well and staff is friendly. The sushi is sushi — not the five star LA or DC quality, but good for the Capital Region. I ordered online through mealeo. It took about an hour from when I ordered to when I walked out the door with my order. There’s not really a good place to wait to be seated or for your orders. Will likely come back during a less busy time.

After a very strong recommendation from a friend I ordered takeout during one of the many blizzards of winter 2015. I was impressed by how large and diverse the menu was. It really is hard to choose because there are so many tasty options. We ordered all over the menu from dim sum to sushi to large plates. The food came quickly and hot. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. I hadn’t had take out so tasty in 518 ever. I had to stop in and see the space. I sat at the bar and ordered some sushi. Service was excellent and very warm/welcoming. Again my food was outstanding. Yangs really delivers on great food for very reasonable prices. I doubt I’ll order takeout from anywhere else!
