I’ve stayed in other Residence Inns before and found this one to be lacking in comparison. Free breakfast and dinner (with complementary beverages) is a plus. The breakfast was good all four days of my stay. I only had dinner one of the nights and found it to «do the job.» It’s pretty good for a free dinner, but mostly forgettable.
The room was nice compared to your average hotel, featuring a full range, oven, microwave, fridge, etc. Some disappointments included the dead beetle I found on the rug. «I don’t need to pick that up,» I said to myself. «Certainly housekeeping will vacuum it tomorrow.» Of course the beetle was still waiting for me the next morning. Additionally, housekeeping removed my sheet from my bed on day three of my stay and didn’t replace it. I came back very late that night so I didn’t bother to try to get one. Once again, I figured they would notice that my bed didn’t have a sheet when they were making the bed the following morning, but my bed was made without the sheet yet again.
You’ll find a complementary pair of earplugs on your bedside table. Once you spend more than five minutes in the room you realize this is because the planes are constantly overhead and it’s cheaper to give you earplugs than soundproof the buildings. I’m a heavy sleeper so I wasn’t bothered, but if you have difficulty falling asleep, you may want to choose a different hotel.

Clean efficient hotel, good value for the money.
2 bedroom efficiency with 2 floors, kitchen, family room fireplace, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for $ 200 a night. Breakfast included. Clean rooms, employees ate extremely friendly. Great location if flying in or out of Albany international. Approx 20 minutes from downtown Albany, 30 minutes from Saratoga race track. The hotel has a pool, basketball courts, bbq grill plenty of parking. This is my 5^th stay here and I rarely have a complaint. Marriott should be proud of their staff and facility here.
There are several golf courses in the area, this hotel would make a great stay for a golf outing.

I am here for a week, so far everything seems pretty good. The staff is amazingly friendly and what they offer for the price is pretty good. They give dinner m-​th and breakfast every morning, it is all the typical foods but it beats going out if you dont want to. The maids are wonderful and give you anything you need. Also we had a toilet problem which was fixed right away.

I would give 1 star but most of the staff was very friendly. This was our temporary housing for 2 months due to relocated for work. This place is awful! We had a fly infestation, there were bug splat marks all over the walls from before we arrived. We also found a bunch of trash under our bed and surfaces were covered in sticky crap that was never taken care of even after complaining to the desk.
It took them 2 weeks to fix a spring in the oven door (it would slam shut on us) which took 5 minutes of the guy loosening the spring.
Overall I feel bad for anyone who has to stay here long term. It sucked living there.
