Amazing as always! Been coming here for years and the service and food is still awesome. Fresh bread, fresh meat, and great customer service. What more could you ask for.

Great subs, rolls always fresh. Good service, medium sub big enough for two for lunch.

Massive subs! Order was very efficient, low lines made for a quick submarine. Fresh tomatoes, fresh lettuce. Just the right amount of sauce. You could tell that they knew what they were doing and have done it for a long time. Highly would recommend for their large size. Under $ 15 gets you one of the most filling subs.

Good subs! Good service! My only complaint is all of the tables were dirty. Nice interior. I hope that they pay their employees good!

Idiots. Subs are good, a bit overpriced, but large. I just can’t stand idiots. I walk in, go right up to the person taking orders, make eye contact, and she begins taking the order of the guy behind me. I was dumbfounded and just walked out. You dont have to kiss my ass, but if you flat out ignore me, I’ll take my money elsewhere.

I’ve been to DiBellas many times over the years, at both of their local locations. Regardless of which shop you patronize, you’re going to get the same thing. Giving them a 3 star rating due to some pros and cons… Pros — subs are huge, chicken seems to be good quality, everything bread is very flavorful Cons — pricey, two subs will run you around $ 20, some options are very salty, service is spotty I will continue to go to DiBella’s if I’m in a pinch and want to satisfy a quick sub craving. But, if I want high quality cold-cuts, I’ll patronize one of the local Italian deli’s instead.

Excellent subs, the service is always fast and friendly and lots of options and lots of indoor seating. I would recommend this place to anyone. Great For large groups too.

Huge, delicious subs at a good price! This is one of the best sandwich places around. I always get the large size with the goal of having half and saving half, but 100% of the time end up eating both halves immediately. The chicken philly is the best, and even better when loaded up with a ton of toppings.

I am changing my review based on today’s service. the girl could not remember for 5 seconds our order had to repeat over and over. then finally get to eat and this large $ 10 cheesesteak sub is half empty! Seriously half of the roll was completely bare… I am now on a 2hr road trip and I am starving since our idea of getting Bella’s was a joke! Total disappointment. I can get a steak sandwich at a diner that would have more meat than this crap! For 10 $ I got a sesame roll… total waste of money!

I was first introduced to this chain in Rochester, New York, back in 2007. I was happy when the first one opened near SUNY Albany, but even more psyched when one opened in Latham(which was a more convenient location for me). The Latham establishment started out ok, the service was decent, but it very quickly fell off. Whenever I went in the place was understaffed and it was always a long wait, so I started avoiding eating there. Other friends had reported that the restaurant was out of the bread/sub roll that they wanted. I moved to the other coast and recently came back to visit Latham, I am happy to say that I had a very positive experience at DiBella’s. I went on a workday at lunch time and the counter was appropriately staffed and the line moved QUICKLY. My parents had previously had an issue with their meals and that made them avoid this eatery, but they said the taste had since improved and they will be back. I would also like to point out that the sizes of the subs are quite generous. I would recommend getting a medium or large, that way you can have a second meal out of your sub for not much more money. DiBella’s, please come to California because I miss your delicious subs.

I don’t have sub sandwiches very often, but of the few places I’ve tried, DiBella’s is the only place that I’ve found to be worth returning to. On this visit, the Cowboy sounded pretty good and tasted even better. Lots of nice warm, moist chicken chunks, a BBQ sauce that is not too sweet and just enough melted cheddar cheese.

Having visited DiBella’s on many occasions since my earlier review and having sampled nearly all of the offerings, I can state beyond a shadow of a doubt that the MEATBALLSUB takes the blue ribbon. The meatballs are large, meaty, moist and flavorful(spiced just right), the sauce is perfection(a meal in itself), the mozzarella(rich and stringy) and the roll(with NYC texture and substance) — simply perfection. Consider a large deli pickle on the side.

So I’m from Jersey, I live close to Philly, and I’ve been around good subs and hoagies. I stopped in here with a friend from colonie that loves this place. I took his recommendations, everything bread, godfather, the works. I got the smallest size, portion was good. The bread was good, the salt on the bread was a little much, the bread’s texture was great. The sandwich as a whole was fine, just not impressed. Overall, great utility sandwich.

Definitely one of the best subs ive ever had. I got the chicken philly. Bread was AMAZING .it honestly made the sandwich. Workers were nice, friendly, helpful, and patient. .I just wish it wasnt so unhealthy so I could have it more often =] p. s. definitely go here instead of the albany location .who are rude and close their grill 30 minutes before schedualed closing time? …not too smart of them.

A medium sized submarine sandwich is enough for two meals. Tasty ingredients, quick and friendly service bundled with reasonable pricing and an inviting atmosphere means return visits from me.

Today I learned: 1. A regular serves 2. 2. A large serves a family. 3. These subs are delish. Seriously, if I could pack this place in my suitcase and bring it home, I would because these subs put all others to shame. The bread is perfect. Prices are reasonable.

After living in WNY for four years, I have a high standard for subs and I blame Wegmans. Luckily, I don’t have to shuffle out to Buffalo to get my fave sub because I can visit DiBella’s and eat an exact replica when visiting my parents in the capital region! These subs are gigantic and my waistline would never allow me to eat here on a daily basis. I HATE that they have the calorie counts on the menu because I rather be ignorant and not know that I’m about to consume 800+ calories. The bread is thick and toasty — with or without seeds, but I prefer the sesame. They have a house made oil, which includes yummy italian herbs and seasonings. They pile on the meat and cheese, so you could easily get two sandwiches out of one(or if you’re like me, stuff it down before you even notice that it’s too huge for one sitting). Definitely coming back here on my next trip to Albany!

My sister, brother-in-law, and I made a lunch stop at DiBella’s Subs in Latham before I hopped on a flight back to Tampa, FL. DiBella’s can be found right off the Northway along Wade Road in a small strip mall shopping center. DiBella’s started as a corner grocery store in Rochester, NY in 1918, and gradually evolved into an Italian import store and deli, specializing in serving its customers high quality cold cuts, cheeses and olives. DiBella’s has now grown into an old fashioned sandwich shop with 40 locations in Western New York, Pittsburgh, Connecticut, Indianapolis, Michigan, and Ohio. Inside the door you’ll find a very casual atmosphere, reminiscent of a 1940’s NY style corner sandwich shop, a lot of friendly people, and some amazing-looking sandwiches. The bread is baked fresh, several times a day, and you can have your choice of sesame, multigrain, everything or plain. You can choose from one of their specialty subs, or you can have them build it to order from their vast list of ingredients. You also have the choice of getting your sub sandwich served classic style or grilled. They had well over a dozen specialty subs ranging from cheesesteaks, Italian meatball, roast beef dip, tuna salad, and buffalo chicken. They also had a host of deli sandwiches, and after much mental anguish I settled on the Dagwood which was made with turkey, ham, and corned beef. To that they had a laundry list of cheeses, toppings, and veggies to add to your sub. Decisions, decisions… My sister warned me ahead of time to just order a small sub as these things are enormous, and she was right! The small sub was $ 5.99, and if you didn’t know better you could have added on a salad, various sides, and cookies. Thankfully I stopped while I was ahead and just enjoyed a really tasty sub!

This is a go-to for us. Very consistent, always a solid good sandwich. The highlights are the service, and bang for your buck. Highly recommend the Cowboy sandwich which isn’t always on the menu but consists of chicken, bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce. I like to add banana peppers and mushrooms for an extra twist. Also the godfather but toasted is amazing! The service is probably the best in the Capitol region, they’re friendly, extremely quick, and I’ve never had a negative experience. Definitely my favorite sandwich shop! Parking and seating are always easy to find.

Summary– a damn good sub with lots of great options for toppings and some cool bread choices. Food– 4 Stars The Dagwood was better than the cheesesteak I had at the location in Albany. Their Cheesesteaks are simply under seasoned in my opinion. I would stick their cold stuff. I like it that they offer some good and interesting bread choices and three different«hot» peppers as well. The everything has kind of a hard crust, almost stale. I am not sure if that’s because it’s everything or if I am the only one who ever orders it. Atmosphere– 4 Stars Feels like sub shop to me. Clean too. Service– 4 Stars Guys and Gals that take my order are nice and they bring your sub over. Value– 4 Stars A lot of sub with real ingredients for pretty short $$$.
