My experience with Maurees was excellent. I wasnt sure what type of haircurt I wanted, and he was so patient to hear me out. We ran through some ideas, and at the end I felt like we were on the same page. His techniques showed years of experience. I think I have found my stylist (is that offensive to call him that, LOL).

I have been getting my hair done/​did by Maurees for about four years on and off. I also have gone through stages of being a redhead, brunette, blonde, platinum blonde, brunette with highlights, you name it! Maurees has been the only person I trusted to do a good job with these drastic transitions. The most recent challenge I presented him with was undoing my DIY ombré hair… which ended up looking like a hot mess minus the hot when I did it myself.
I wanted to go back to lightest blonde possible and I wanted it now! Maurees, of course griped and mumbled a thing or two under his breath, and then evaluated the best approach to get me my result and have my hair remain on my head (a plus). It was a grueling process, but three hours later, the damage I inflicted was undone and my hair looked amazing. It was blonde and fabulous and everything I ever wanted. See, that’s the difference between a true professional who knows his craft and a rookie who would have freaked out the moment I showed up with my hair then. Also, he is funny and fun to talk to when you get to know him. He stocks his fridge with booze for me and I appreciate it.
