I can finally say that I have found a stopper that actually works. I have bought and thrown away countless wine stoppers that just don’t work and was a waste of money and at times an expensive bottle of wine. I was turned on to
by a friend of mine after I poured him a glass of wine that had a stopper that I bought from BevMo and lone behold We ended up going for a drive for a different bottle of wine because the stopper did not work and ruined my wine.
So the great thing about wine doctors stopper is the red indicator line that lets you know if you have put the stopper in correctly and the bottle is sealed. The kit I bought came with a small pump that ensures that you remove all the air from the bottle. I stored my bottle of wine in the fridge and 5 days latter I was eating dinner and felt like having a glass of wine.
When I removed the stopper I can not explain how refreshing it was hearing the bottle pop open just like it did when I first removed the cork. I poured a glass and was amazed that the wine tasted the same as when I first bought the bottle. I will never buy a cheap useless wine stopper again. I have rinsed the stopper off and used the same stopper multiple times now. When it comes to wine stoppers. Don’t trust anything else but wine doctors.
