I give it a 3. 3’s are not bad. To me it means I liked stuff and didn’t like stuff. I tried the vegan vanilla, and the vegan strawberry Likes: I give much respect to the ingredients, a few non gmo ingredients here and there, some organic stuff. Of course VEGAN is a mega plus. Any tasty desert that provides some real guilt free enjoyment is always the best. I have had some really awesome vegan stuff… Which leads me to the dislikes. Dislikes: Its draped in frosting, I actually like that, but the layer used is too thick. It does take away from the cake… Which I found very moist and interesting… I was really wanting to know more about it, but the frosting did overpower. All in all I can’t complain about the good people like this who create healthy snacks. Any company getting out there and doing something different and healthy and environmentally conscious is good folks in my opinion. Would def try more next time I go to the farmer’s market.

A new farmers market vendor selling mini bite-sized cakes. The name of the business is due to half of the cakes are 100% plant-based(virtue) and the other half have alcohol in them(vice). Each cake is $ 2.50. Virtue cakes are: * Vanilla cake(vanilla filling, fondant glaze) * Strawberry cake(white chocolate filling, fondant glaze) * Carrot spice cake(white chocolate filling, fondant glaze) The fondant is made with Earth Balance margarine so it’s vegan. There’s also a gluten free chocolate cake with vegan ganache(cake is not vegan as it contains eggs) Vice cakes are chocolate cake with Guinness and Baileys, red velvet with whiskey, apple spice cake with rum, and orange cake with champagne. I have tried only the vegan cakes(vanilla and carrot). The cakes and fillings are pretty tasty on their own, but there is a lot of frosting/fondant compared to the cake, so the sweetness overpowers the cakes. The bite-sized pieces are perfect when you’re craving just a couple of bites of sweetness. Just at a couple of markets since its so new. Tuesdays at Gardens Park, Wednesdays at Bruce Trent Park and Saturdays at Tivoli Village(was at Town Center on Fridays, but that market is no longer open as of 4÷26÷14). I hope she comes up with other vegan flavor choices, because vanilla and carrot tend to be boring after a while.
