I thought this guy was the same guy I rented from the previous year during EDC week, but I was wrong. This guy Teddy just drove around with an unmarked U-​Haul truck and dropped off scooters around the strip, wherever he was called.
My scooter was «stolen» while chained up and this guy Teddy tried charging me $ 1500. He said if I tried to decline the transaction on my card that he would have to fly out to my city and sew me in small claims court for $ 5000.
I declined the $ 1500 of course and never heard anything back about the situation. I really think he or someone of his «crew» scouts the scooters and steals them to try and charge up people since he has their card information on file.
NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY!
