Seconding everything said by the other reviewers; the staff couldn’t be nicer, the customers, who are mostly twelve-​steppers, are cheerful, considerate, and cool, and the family atmosphere is special. It’s like Cheers, where «everybody knows your name,» only without the booze! Try the French Toast; best in the city, at a price you won’t believe. Nothing fancy, just good people cooking good food for good people!

Nice place to get some cheap diner food without having to go into a casino. Staffed by AA members, dining here does a lot of good for your local community.
