Totally Made Over

I didn’t have a great experience here. I was looking for a stylist and found this place through google. The appointment hours were tough if you have to work 10am or 1pm were the time slots I could get. I can’t take off work each time to get my hair done. That’s ridiculous. So when I did get in to get my hair done Ms. Connie didn’t have much tact and asked if I had a thyroid condition when she saw my hair. I don’t. I’m wearing a weave now, but my hair has always been thin and before I got my new job, during my time of unemployment stress caused my hair to fall out. You never know what someone has been through so try having more tact. This place may be ok for some, but if you have been to other salons in the east coast you will be disappointed. This is not a classy place. Work on your customer service skills. There are plenty of other stylists I will gladly give my coins.

LOVE me some Ms. Connie! I am not sure why it has taken me so long to write this review #shameful on my part. Ms. Connie has been my stylist for the past 2 years faithfully! I refuse to let anyone other than her touch my hair. She does an amazing job keeping my hair healthy and she’s not pushy. She is extremely punctual and professional. Most important she maintains a clean atmosphere and SHE KNOWS HAIR! If you have natural, relaxed, extensions, short or long she knows how to style it.
Not sure where the negative review came from but I will say and what I appreciate about her is this: she is very careful about the clients she takes on. Do not book an appointment if you have a horrible attitude or plan on wasting her time.
She gets you in and out and offers scheduling online. Never had an issue and I love what she can do with my hair.

Will not be returning. Stylist (Connie) was unfriendly and had an overall negative attitude during my appointment.
