Five stars to Chelsea and The Parlor. I couldn’t be happier with my cut and the customer service I received. I went to the salon to have my hair cut and colored, and thankfully was set up with Chelsea who listened to everything I had to say about how I wanted it cut and the color I wanted. She did a perfect job. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she clearly loves her job. She had just as much fun chopping my hair off as I had receiving a new hair style. This is a clean and very cute salon. Every employee I encountered was kind and professional. I typically don’t enjoy going to the salon to have my hair done, but this place and my new stylist have changed that for me. I really enjoyed my experience. Great job guys!

Cute location and friendly staff. Engaged and pleasant owners. Prices are as expected for the nice atmosphere, experienced staff, and products. Georgette is wonderful. Very experienced, listens and translates ideas well, and provides great advice when you ask. Always a great experience. I’ve been to very high-​end expensive salons and well known higher-​end chains in Chicago, and The Parlor and Georgette have proved phenomenal results and experience that surpassed even one of the top Chicago salons. Definitely recommend!

I am so happy with the cut and color I just received. My hair was so terrible and it looks amazing! Beca did my hair and was so friendly, helpful, and provided a wonderful service! I really don’t know hair, and she really helped me get a mellow yet pretty cut and color. The parlor is so clean and I really love the artwork, everyone is so friendly. My hair looks so nice and she showed me how I could style it! My hair feels so healthy and nice. I will be back again!

Melissa is amazing! She did fantastic on my hair even though it was just a cut she was so friendly and was so easy to talk to and she cut an styled my hair FANTASTICALLY! She cut it to the perfect length! I hate going to salons and saying I want a trim and they cut half my hair off. I will definitely be back and will recommend to everybody!

This is a shout out to Melissa! I went here for the first time earlier this year purely off Unilocal reviews. I had just moved to the centennial hills area and needed a hairstylist. So I scheduled an appointment at The Parlor and ended up with Melissa. She has been amazing and has done my hair ever since. I get full highlights done and she is very patient with my hair which is a challenge to do. The whole atmosphere is great there and the staff is super friendly.

I’ve been going to Melissa for quite some time now. I always get compliments on my hair color and cut. You won’t go wrong booking an appointment with her!

Georgette is amazing! She will color and do your hair but also makeup. She is perfect. thanks to her our wedding pictures looked perfect!

Hands down best hair salon in Las Vegas! I’ve lived in Vegas for 18 years and almost every side of town, but I could never find a stylist that does a great job on a consistant biases. Until I met Matt, he does an amazing job every time. Not to mention everyone at the salon is super friendly and easy to talk to.
Seriously I can’t recommend this place enough. Amazing haircuts, friendly people, and a great price.

I’ve followed Melissa all over the place but The Parlor has stuck out of all the salons I’ve ever been to with her. Such a great environment, everyone is so friendly. Melissa has grown as an artist here thanks to all the opportunities. If you’re looking for a new place to go I would highly suggest this place over any!

This is my THIRD time within the past 9 months that I have done color, cut, and styling and i’ve loved EACH TIME! Compared to my many different experiences with stylists in Manhattan and New Jersey, I can say Chelsea at The Parlor has really set the bar high. Chelsea provides her honest opinion with her expertise in trends and hair treatment… all at an affordable price.
I would HIGHLY recommend giving The Parlor a shot, you’ll definitely notice the difference as soon as you walk in and are greeted by Doug!

I found The Parlor and Georgette via Unilocal,and I couldn’t be more pleased. Georgette is wonderful. She looked at the pics of what style and cut I was looking for and was able to translate that into a style that would work with my curly hair and serious cowlicks. She showed me how to style my hair. She pays great attention to detail, and doesn’t mind going back and re shaping the cut. After the cut seemed to be done, I put my glasses on to admire her handiwork. Very nice! Then it happened! I took my glasses off and yikes, there was more hair that was defiantly sticking out not wanting to cooperate. Georgette went over it a few more times having me put on and take off my glasses until it was just right. That is great service!

Let me start off by saying that I love the atmosphere of this salon. Everyone that works there is so nice and helpful. I came in to receive a Keratin Treatment and I am pretty picky when it comes to people doing my hair. Chelsea (my stylist) was AMAZING and knew exactly what she was doing. She did a spectacular job and also recommended some products for me to use at home, that turned out to be my favorite products yet. I would recommend anyone to go and see Chelsea and everyone else that works there because I am certain everyone there is awesome.

I have to say how happy I am to be a stylist at the Parlor! If you want to come for a fun day of pampering and be surrounded by people that love what they do and inspire each other to do their best, then you have found your salon home!

My friend recommended me to The Parlor. I am pretty simple when it comes to my hair. I usually never get a drastic cut because when I meet to stylist I change my mind. Georgette did my cut. She was super friendly and informative. I am definitely the type that likes to know what the stylist is thinking and doing to my hair. She made me feel confident in my hair style choice (I went from long no layer hair to a somewhat layered bob). Georgette did exactly what I asked and imagined my cut to look like! I’m very happy with the results! The parlor itself is so chic and cozy. Very clean too! I’ll def be going again!

I had Melissa as my stylist and she was great! I’m very specific about how I like my hair (not everyone does well with blonde). She asked me a few questions, mixed up some colors up and 2 hours later I was good to go. My hair looks and feels amazing! If I’m in town again I will definitely go back.

Georgette continues to save my hair. From the moment I went in, she has been informative and works hard to get my hair to its desired style. I pretty much can’t live without her.

I love the atmosphere of The Parlor– it reminds of LA or even Santa Barbara. With all the windows that make the place so full of natural light, the fun furnishings, and the décor– it would be very hard not to enjoy your time here. I found The Parlor after moving to this side of town. I was heartbroken to leave my hair stylist in BC, but that is just too far to get a haircut.
I like that you can opt to receive texts and emails reminding you of your appointment.
The ambiance here is a mix of hip, stylish, cool, and fresh. None of which this 40 year kindergarten teacher really needs, but it does make for a great appointment. The prices are on target for the kinds of services offered and results that are had. I opt for a simple trim and don’t think I will ever ask for much more, but from what I observed, the stylists here can work miracles with hair.

Georgette is amazing! I’m so glad I found her after nearly nine years of looking for a stylist/​hair color artist in Nevada. She is truly talented. I have a difficult color to match since I was a true red head before going prematurely grey/​white. In addition my hair is thick so hard to work with.
Also, I am in a chlorinated pool three times a week. She is able to work her magic and make my hair like it was when I was a teenager. Im so glad I found her from other reviews I read here on Unilocal.

I owe Randie my all for doing such a wonderful job with my hair! It’s been less than a day since I’ve had my new haircut, and I literally got compliments from everyone I came in contact with yesterday :) Ego +1 haha. I found The Parlor via Unilocal,and quickly phoned them to see if they took walk-​ins. The guy answering the phone told me appointments would be best, but walk-in’s were accepted. He was able to squeeze me in the next hour after that call with Randie.
Upon entrance, I was warmly greeted with smiles by Randie who came to check me in. I was taken to her station shortly after to describe what I wanted. I just told her the length I wanted my hair to be (about 3inches past my collarbone), and left everything else in her hands haha. I told her how this was a spite cut for my husband since he went from having a head of hair to waxy bald. Randie was genuinely engaged in conversation the whole time and also had this very contagious energy, making the whole process super comforting! I didn’t quite have any idea about how I wanted my haircut to be done besides the length, so I wanted to seek her recommendation. She had an «image» of what to do with my hair and made sure each step was okay with me before she proceeded.

During the cut, I also inquired about coloring, as I have always wanted to go a brown-​red. My box dyes have always made my hair bleed reds after each wash. She gave me a dye consultation after my fantastic cut and took her time helping me look for the right shade of red, colormatching my hair and seeing what could be done. I’m surely scheduling my next appointment here with Randie whether it be a cut or color job!
