Being new to town, I’m eager to try any place possible. I worked late on New Year’s Eve and had to get a bite to eat. Much to my surprise, so many places were closed. I found Great American was open and didn’t look too busy. I was disappointed to see and smell how smokey it was. I couldn’t imagine if it were super busy that I could stand to be there. But I get it, it’s Vegas, it’s a gaming bar. Just maybe a couple ceiling fans to circulate the air or something, I don’t know. The two servers working the bar were really friendly and always offered a smile. We ordered an appetizer and a dinner, unfortunately it took a long time for both, they came out together at the same time. The lobster Mac was creamy and tasty. The sliders had a sort of onion marmalade that was amazing. I’m sad to say the fries were cold. They had $ 5 Ketel One drinks on special, I went with the Moscow Mule, I love when bars have ginger beer! Yummy! So we shared our food and asked for our check. I’d give it another chance, hopefully there will be less smokers and warmer food.

What a great bar! Let’s start with the atmosphere. I met some friends here for Sunday football for the first time. Not the biggest bar you’ve ever seen but just the right size with a large center bar. Tons of TVs and they bring down a large projector screen for the big games of the day. Everyone knows each other and is very friendly, aka not a rowdy crowd it feels like a local bar for locals. As it should for the location. Food was also awesome as well. Football specials are good for food and beer. Definitely recommend the Bloody Mary bar, how fun and unique, as well as the wings and the calamari. Calamari was cooked with an amazing garlic aioli and was such a pleasant addition. Also the blue cheese dressing is SO good here, obviously we loved the wings for the physical taste but the dressing just added on to it. Ps– Chris the owner was super nice and took the time to introduce himself and say hello. Makes the difference in a local bar experience for sure. Definitely my new local bar spot for Sunday football and regular nights alike.

Last time I will ever come back. Bartender decided to ring up another persons tab on my credit card and gave my credit card to that customer. After I asked for my card back, they try to play it off, but the damage was already done. All I could get from them was oops sorry. Horrible customer service.

I love the atmosphere, staff, and food here! I believe the owner Chris is who I met last week. He was extremely nice and was so proud of this establishment! I can tell from the menu to the guest walking in that everyone loved being here! I tried the chicken wings and a pizza and they were both delicious! From having so many tvs it’s always nice to see a game that wasn’t up but Chris had no problem looking for it and turning it on. The only thing I didn’t like was the cigar smoking. It was getting me a little nauseous.

Stopped in for breakfast and found a nice bar. I tried the Habla Diablo Bloody Mary, was just what one expects in a Bloody Mary. The fella had the GAP breakfast. The green onion potatoes were a good concept but they were overly greasy. Bacon was pretty thick cut — order it extra crispy if you like crisp bacon. Eggs were cooked perfectly over medium for a bonus point! This was a large breakfast, so you won’t go hungry, that’s for sure. I would have loved to see some smaller ala carte options. As bars go, this one is clean, friendly service, has some games, a pool table and an electronic jukebox. Looks like they offer great happy hour specials; We’ll have to give it another shot for happy hour snacks one of these days.

The selection of beers seemed kind of small, but the atmosphere was awesome. I spent 20 bucks for two wells cocktails and some sliders. I sat at the bar area and even enjoyed some conversing with the bartender about a nearby haunted house. The well drinks(my gin and gin) was surprisingly strong. This place gave me vibes of the TV show Cheers. I wan to come back and chill here again.

My friends introduced me to Great American Pub and I’m glad they did. This is a quintessential sports bar. They have tv’s everywhere with all the sports packages. The service that my group has received has always been attentive and friendly. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. I love watching games here.

This is a great place! I stopped in there to have some beer and watch the Women’s World Cup game and I enjoyed it. They have plenty of TV’s with different sports events on them. They have plenty of games and Video Poker. And the staff is top notch. The bartenders are all very nice and attentive. The beers are reasonable. And I had some of the donuts for dessert. I had already eaten and not really hungry. But the donuts were great and there was enough for an army! I have enough for breakfast for the next couple of days. Definitely looking forward to making this place a frequent stop and having some lunch or dinner in there soon. Highly recommended!

I love what they did with the place. It used to be 215 Saloon which was ghetto, sad, and smokey. John and Chris, the owners, are really friendly and inviting. The video poker machines are all set to pay pretty high payouts. I love food there too. The BBQ Chicken pizza is really good. The hot chicken fingers are really good and I love that they come with chunky real blue cheese. This is a place you can come to with a few friends to gamble, eat, and kickback. The staff is real friendly as well. Jeanna and Shilo always make my experience pleasant.

It’s a rather typical neighborhood 24-hour bar. There’s a big square bar with gaming. There’s some tables scattered about. There’s minimal décor. It’s dark. It’s loud. Beer offerings are typical and meh, with the exception of them having a couple of Joseph James brews on tap. The menu has a lot of offerings — all standard, American bar fare. We opted for the lobster mac ‘n’ cheese which was pretty tasty. Service was fine — basically what you expect from a 24-hour bar. All in all, it’s a perfectly fine and a-ok place.

I had such high hopes. We went later at night, I think 11:30ish. It is a sports pub, so be prepared for that; the constant barrage of too many tvs, playing too many sports… you can tell I’m no sports fan. Food: Priced average-high for bar fare. Tasted great, I had Greek sliders and they were amazing; that pretty much where the stars on this review even go to. Quantity was ok-I was full and I didn’t have leftovers. Draft beer selection, decent. Service: Here’s where we fall apart. It all seemed normal and ok, until the waitresses with plastic surgery and big tits realized we weren’t there for their«fabulous» company, but rather to try a new bar with supposedly great food and beer. As soon as they realized that, we didn’t exist. Holy hell, what a concept. You could have had trolls serving me and I would have smiled just the same. That blatant disregard hurt your tip, and now your business. If I ever return, I hope I get the burly barback who doesn’t give 2 damns, and it will only be for the food. If you go to bars for fake girls, sports, and a ridiculously smokey environment, this might be your place.

Very solid bar/restaurant! Big menu, clean(although bathrooms could be a tiny bit cleaner), reasonably priced and not too smokey. The server was very attentive and friendly as well. I got the Texas Cowboy Club sandwich($ 12), and it was packed with meat! The presentation was lovely, although I was not crazy about the fries. The sandwich was great, the bread was also really tasty, but it could have used some more sauce– it was a tiny bit dry. My friend enjoyed his Cobb salad, and we split the wings. They come naked, but you can request that they be tossed(ooh, naughty). I thought that the wings were great, very meaty. One of the bartenders was having a birthday, so there were balloons all around, and they even brought out cake and sang to him– and everyone there got a slice! If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d recommend stopping by.

My wife and I have a time share just down the street and we are always looking for a nice place to eat and catch a game. We really liked the atmosphere, the food, the location, the service, and the plethora of TV’s. The only downside is that it is not a nonsmoking establishment. Having lived in CA for the last 40 years I’m not accustomed to enjoying dinner and inhaling cigarette smoke at the same time or same venue. The food was fantastic with the exception of the french fries. My wife had a burger thst she said was delicious and I had the fish and chips where the fish was amazing. The fries left a lot to be desired for both of us. The beer selection was pretty decent. They featured several local craft beers as well as some solid craft beers from out of state(they had Moose Drool on tap from Big Sky Brewing in Missoula, MT which is as solid a brown craft beer as is available). As Vegas and Henderson continue to welcome more breweries I look forward to seeing what they will tap here. I foresee us going back again next year when we are at our time share for a couple hockey games. In short, if you like sports, good food, good beer, and don’t mind smoke I would highly suggest The Great American Pub.

I went here because a friend of my husband’s was having his birthday here during Sunday night football. The bar was very accommodating of our large party and the service was great. The server came by regularly to fill beers abc check on us. This also seems to be a great place to catch some football games as there are plenty of TVs in the place. You could watch football from any area of the bar. The food was just kind of so so. I tried the cheese pizza and it was ok. Kind of generic, a little greasy. Additionally I had the sliders. They were small burgers with a pickle ands one onion strings. They were better than the pizza but definitely on the dry side. The French fries looked and tasted fresh cut. They were definitely the star though it’s not hard to mess up salty potatoes in my book. Pretty much standard bar menu and quality food. I would definitely return for another party and/or to catch some games.

I absolutely love it here! The staff is always nice, especially Phill & the chef, the woman with the glasses. I recommend getting the 8oz baseball sirloin! SOJUICY. I usually replace my spinach for mashed potatoes. & if you get the woman chef, she definitely gives you more than enough & everything is always cooked to perfection. Happy hour specials give you good choices too.

Great place to go to for a Friday night /Sunday brunch /or middle of the week get away! Food & drinks are outstanding! Atmosphere is awesome! Plenty of TVs, bar space & tables. The crowd is also great! Crowd is lively but not loud enough to where you can’t hear the person right next to you talk. I would highly recommend this pub to both friends & family, next time I’m in Vegas, I will def be spending some time here!

It’s OK… A OK means it’s better than OK, and this is more, eh, OK. Food was just alright. Nothing special. Drinks were alright as well. I hate when something is in my bookmarks for a while and I go and it’s EH. I’m being generous with 3 stars, it’s really more 1.5, but it’s a local place and I always want local places to succeed.

I’ve lived in Vegas for 23 years and used to the Old Vegas Hospitality, when I visited bars. In the last several years the big corporations started buying up all the good bars. The rest were mediocre. Before this, the bar was run by different owners. I went in one time, walked through, and immediately left. There was no place to sit and the music was crap. The Great American Pub opened last week. I have pretty much been in every night. I wanted to wait until I could give it a review. I love it! The new owners totally renovated the place. There is now a full bar instead of a half bar. In addition to that, tables surround the place! Plenty of space for people to sit. No matter where you sit, there’s a TV to watch. They also have a huge projection screen that they can pull down for big games! The service is by far the best in the immediate area! It’s tucked between 2 other bars which are not so great. The sign reads, «Gaming, Spirits, Hospitality.» Basically explains the place! I have never been treated so well! The food is by far the best in Vegas! Even if I lived in Lake Las Vegas, Centennial Hills, or northeast Las Vegas, I’d take the drive to come here. I must add, I hate driving in this town, but well worth the drive. They have way better, selections for beer & liquor than most bars in the area. There’s a lot to be said about a bar that is busy all the time! I’ve been in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night drinks… There is always people in there. Most bars and pubs in Vegas only cater to gamblers. This place is different. They give equal service to all the patrons! I bar hopped on Saturday night, and wanted a good view of the bars in the area. Only this bar, and my last regular bar did I get the service I expect! They have an underground parking area under the bar, which is great for the Vegas summer weather. I have finally found, a home away from home. I can’t wait until this bar opens more locations! In addition to service, excellent food, great drinks, they also have wonderful music! The best part is, there’s a jute box with even better selections. If you’re a fan of Golden Tee, the newest machine in the area. Or, if you like to play pool, they have a great pool table! The first word on the sign, is Great. This is the Greatest Bar in Las Vegas!
