I have visited this place for a long time and has always been my favorite place, good prices good quality, summing 5 stars speak for me. The truth should not have come today, I feel terrible because in the end I just feel that lack of my English I use myself. really it was fatal for me, but do not deny that my garage has always been my best option ecepto today. We apologize for everything Mr. Robert, have a nice night, remember that does not make me feel bad about the 21 dollar for the two drinks but feel confused by his work and finally I saw it as a ridiculous arguments before. I do not wanna talk about it anymore. Thanks a lot for your time, I know you are the best, was my deal my apologies for that, just for right now I don’t want go out, you are the best but your server was /////.

This place is great! Drinks are cheap, food is cheap and good and has a fun vibe! Will be back when in Vegas, worth checking out!

Wow. I have never been treated so poorly by staff in my life. Any bar that would allow its bartenders to threaten to break your fingers has got to go. I would t rate this sloppy disgusting excuse for a bar one star if I had the opportunity to. Avoid this place at all costs.
Update: I spoke with the owner today, and he provided a great ear and truly took my concerns to heart. I appreciated his time and effort, and am updating my review and rating to reflect that.

Back when I first moved to Vegas, and when I had major drinking problem; this was the spot.
Can’t beat the happy hour buy one get one.
They give you chips for a complimentary round next order. Hell yeah!
I asked for a double, bartender responds with «you know our pours are heavy right?»
I’m like «yes please» lol.
I think my double turned into a triple or quadruple, I believe I was here for 7 hrs drinking until 8am.
After making a couple hund in tips, from my job, I’d usually end up here spending my hard earned tips on these awesome bartenders. And I’d wonder why I was always broke.
Food wise, happy hour pizza! Duh!
This was the best place for me to be a hot mess.
No regerts on my sleazy time here.

Pretty chill place, I went here with my girlfriend and our friend in the afternoon when it was empty. The drinks are good, def worth it unlike most places which give you a side of alcohol with that full cup of ice and soda/juice…We drank, played music with touch tunes, played some pool; definitely recommend if u want a place to drink at in a chill environment (haven’t been here at night yet so I’m not sure how it is during that time).

Well I just arrived home from the garage, and once again I realized why I don’t frequent this place. I only had two drinks. So truth be said. Well this bartender /​manager Latino guy with. Blond top. Was going off. F bombing another bartender James. For over one hour I had to listen to this viscous arguing. It was not good for sure. That’s why I believe when bartenders are off duty they should not be allowed to hang out at their workplace. Drinking accelerates this behavior and surely does not look good. The blond top was saying words about being «professional «. To James. He should really be talking about himself. Because his behavior was rather shocking. Hope they can get it together. Upper management will step in! The bartender that served me was I believe torito. He was very nice however. ! Hats off to torito!

This is an awesome gay bar! My friend lives down the street and we go often! They have free pretzels in the front. Great drink prices on happy hour. Pool tables, bar food and more. It’s a fun atmosphere and the staff is always nice to us straight girls too! It’s busy but not slammed so it’s easy to get a table and drink fairly quickly

The best gay bar in Vegas for drinks and food! The staff is also really friendly! One thing I find really awesome is the owner actually works the bar as well and he has the best sense of humor! They have a different special every day, my favorite is tequila on Sunday’s! :)

Best gay bar in Vegas woot woot! Haha rating this place a 5 star because it is! First off drinks are waay cheap and good! 5 bucks for a big mug of blue moon! Yum! You can get a good buzz for under 20 bucks here! Secondly the bars pretty clean and staff are really friendly! Bartenders are actually sweet here unlike the usual stuck up «I think I’m so hot» kind of bartenders! They have games and a pool table and good music of course! Just a great place to come and have a few drinks and hang out with friends and stuff overall the ambience of the place is amazing thanks garage!

I love coming here with my best friend! The drink prices are very inexpensive (we got two huge blue moons for literally under $ 10). Their food isn’t too bad either, I love their friend mushrooms & their pizzas. My only complaint about this bar is how smokey it is, but otherwise I love it here!

I came to this place from Anaheim California and I have to say this is one of the best gay bars that I have ever been to very professional the theme is Awesome the bartender will is amazing he makes great drinks very very very happy.

Of all the bars I’ve been to in cities across the US and Canada alike… The Garage is easily one of my favourites!
AMBIANCE — the bar has plenty of televisions and the entire theme of the place is an auto garage. The bartenders all wear «mechanic» uniforms. A fun theme! The only point to note is that this place is very, VERY smoky. As a non-​smoker it was definitely a turn off, but not enough to keep me from coming back.
DRINKS — two words… CHEAP and STRONG! They have a 2-​for-​1 happy hour promotion sometimes as well. What else could you ask for?!
BAR FOOD — I haven’t ordered from the menu myself, but my friends say the menu is actually quite good. Every time I have gone, they have some bar snacks available as well.
LOCATION — About 10 – 15 minutes from most Strip hotels, you can get away from the full-​on chaos of the Strip without being too far!
CROWD — A wide assortment, with a mix of locals and tourists alike.
Overall, an amazing place to get a strong drink and make some new friends. Again, the smoke is a bit annoying but a small price to pay for such a great bar!

Fun little dive bar off the beaten path. A little strip mall gem about four miles from the strip. Everyone there was super nice to this lady, although it’s primarily a men’s spot. Watch for the cactus growing outside — its vicious.

Perfect neighborhood gay bar. Not seedy or too dark or dingy. But also not over-​the-​top or in-​your-​face. Chill, laid back car mechanic’s garage theme with pool tables, large bar, friendly bartenders, wifi, and good bar food from the kitchen.

Wow, lots of smoke!!! But hey, we’re in Vegas! Go with the flow.
So, we took a cab here and here are my observations:
1). $ 8 unlimited beer is great!
2). $ 4 tall Jack & Coke is great!
3). Grumpy bartender, not so great.
4). Clientele, not so great
Better to have stayed back onthe strip and cruised Grindr or Scruff.

I’m from New Orleans so when it comes to bars vs clubs I’ll take a bar any day of the week. I went to a couple of clubs while visiting but was looking for a locals bar. Tried a couple out but no dice. That was until I walked into The Garage Bar… It was exactly what I was looking for. Cheap strong drinks, Great relaxed atmosphere, very clean, good tunes on the Jukebox, friendly bartenders and lots of locals. They even serve bar food!
If you’re over ultra lounges with 12 dollar domestic beers and wanna take a quick cab ride to where the locals hang, you’ve got to check this place out.
You won’t be disappointed…

Been here a few times and always have a great time.
Never paid attention to the décor, so I didnt know (or care) why it’s called the Garage.
Just an FYI, it’s cash only, so make sure you have it. They do have an ATM machine inside, so you dont have to run to your bank if you are short on cash.
Drinks are always good and reasonably priced.
I REALLY like coming here and playing shuffle board. I am not good, but it’s always a lot of fun.

This is one of my favorite bars in the country! I am often on the road and one of the hardest things to find is a decent gay bar. The Garage was a great way to end a long weekend in Las Vegas.
I visited late on a Sunday (open ²⁴⁄₇). It wasn’t a huge crowd but still busy. It was very much a local crowd — very refreshing from the touristy bars on the strip.
Wil at the bar was fantastic. Introduced me to several really interesting guys and protected me from some if the more interesting characters. You can find just about anything you’re looking for here but I liked the conversations the most.
Inexpensive drinks (far cheaper than the Strip) and no cover (at least on Sunday). Well worth the $ 15 taxi ride from the big hotels. I will absolutely return the next time I am in town.
