After enduring the annoying behavior of TSA staff while going through the checkpoint at the McCarran International Airport, it was a nice change of pace to get to interact with the friendly staff of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. And after a night of partying in Vegas, the tasty mocha I ordered provided me with a much needed caffeine fix. I only wish they had more food options.

If you’re in Terminal C, and you’re not a Starbucks fan, this is the place for you! I like CBTL’s coffee, but the setup in this shop is so awkward. It’s so darn narrow here. There’s people lined up at the register to order and pay, then there’s people in the back waiting for their order, and when you’re coffee is ready, you have to crawl through everybody back to the counter to get your drink. I know it’s not totally their fault since it’s hard to get real estate inside an airport, but they could organize the lines better.

Great tasting coffee but horrible service. The two employees kept talking to each other in between and during customers rather than giving their full attention. That’s reason he screwed up on the mans order before me. Then when the lady made my drink I asked to double check if my shot was blended in and without even looking at me she said«yup». Not sure if she took offense that I asked a simple question but I’m pretty sure she’s not getting paid to have story hour. I guess because they’re in an airport they don’t care since they won’t have«regulars» but their lack of customer service is a bad reflection on their company.

Had a long wait for my plane and was needing coffee asap! This was my first and last time here… $ 6.26 for a medium latte that tastes like unmixed powder and straight milk… Where’s the coffee? Waste of $ wayyyy over priced!

My iced chai tastes like iced water with a little cinnamon. Needless to say, it went straight into the garbage!

I passed up Starbucks because the line was too damn long. I’m not a fan of The Coffee Beans coffee so I got a Pure Chocolate Ice Blended Drink, pretty damn good, almost like a chocolate milkshake. I also got a Blueberry a Muffin, it wasn’t the best muffin I had but it was decent, tasted like a packaged muffin. Staff was nice but it was a super slow wait to get waited on and to get my drink. I’d return.

Was here Thursday at 3 and the guy with a southern style accent and the kid with the tattoos were working. Extremely nice. Good service for an airport.

Despicable… The manager here needs to rethink the staff. My visit was on Sunday morning at 11 on April 26th. I wanted an iced tea, which yes I did receive. The girl who rang me up though decided to make it for me. Which is fine if you wash your hands! She didn’t wash her hands and then scooped the cup into the ice instead of using the conveniently placed ice scooper that solely exists to scoop ice. This is unsanitary and the manager needs to retrain the employees on this. You should no better to wash your hands after touching money, no excuse! When I asked for someone else to make the drink, she rolled her eyes. Which of course would happen if you don’t care about your job and the customers you serve. Great job Coffee Bean, you somehow manage to disappoint me yet again.

Oh dear, I love coffee … but this was one of the worst coffees I’ve ever tasted!!! I had about an hour and half left to wait before my flight took off. I had just finished my lunch and thought I should get some coffee, since I hadn’t drank any in the morning. I’m pretty sure I saw two Coffee Beans in the airport, this one was closest to my terminal C4 and Southwest Airlines. Normally I prefer to drink a cup of regular black coffee, but sometimes I’ll treat myself to a special drink. The pictures looked great showing their new coffees, and I’ve had mexican coffee at other shops before… Well I ended up ordering a medium mexican chocolate latte, and this size has two shots of Espresso, I needed the caffeine. I paid total $ 6.46, which is very expensive compared to what I normally pay at Starbucks for one drink, but I assume this is «airport price». It was quite busy and took over 5 – 10 minutes to get my drink. I was fine waiting, definitely not in a hurry ;) I got my coffee and went to sit by a slot machine. First taste was awful. YUCK, it tasted like hot water mixed with powder crap :(I thought I’ll just let it cool down, so I waited about 10 minutes and tried again. Still tasted bad, I tried to force myself to drink it and couldn’t even do a couple more sips! Honestly, I don’t think the drink was made properly, I couldn’t even taste Espresso and it looked nothing like the picture!!! Even though I was only sitting a few steps away from Coffee Bean, I just didn’t have it in me to go ask for a refund. So I threw the whole drink away, which was basically throwing $ 6 in the garbage :(What a waste :(But I learned my lesson the hard way, from now on while traveling or any airport, I’ll just order a regular coffee as I normally do or drink coffee at the hotel first before I leave… I definitely was not expecting this experience at the airport, especially at a well known place of Coffee Bean!

Every time I come to a coffee bean and tea leaf I regret it. The coffee is dreadful — bitter, like licking a tasteless orange peel covered in burnt dirt. This one is no exception, so at least they are consistent. Unfortunately before receiving this forgettable experience you have to part with large amounts of money. Think of a more pretentious, and less welcoming Starbucks and you are somewhere close.

Coffee is coffee, served with too much attitude. For some reason they feel superior to the customer, not sure why. If you like your drinks served with sarcasm and snide side comments, absolutely check it out.

They don’t have any Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf cafes where I am from in California, so I was happy to find one here at the airport. I asked the cashier what menu item was cold and blended«similar to a frapuccino» so he told me to order an original ice blended coffee. However, when I went to pick up my drink I overheard the cashier tell the barista«she asked me for a frapuccino», to which they both made snarky comments. I was standing there the entire time. Ridiculous service. Why not take the time to talk about the different beverages and you just might get a fan of the brand.

Highly recommend the vanilla iced coffee. No need for milk, as the vanilla powder blended in gives you that creamy taste. Hit the spot before we flew out.

For cold drinks the smallest size is 16oz — For hot drinks the smallest size is 12 oz. Great coffee place. I had a cold blended mocha and it tasted really yummy.

This is a great Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Every time I fly through Vegas, I love coming to this location. The staff has been friendly every time, the space is always clean, the wait is always short, the drinks are spot on perfect and there is plenty of places to sit while you wait for your plane. Honestly I think other Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf locations can learn a lot from how this location is run. My favorite drink is the pomegranate blueberry tea latte. It smells like blueberries and cream and tastes just as heavenly. They also have an amazing array of speciality teas that are worth checking out. My favorite iced tea is the Japanese Cherry. I also enjoy their blue berry muffins. Yummy. I always have a good experience here. Hope you do too.

We don’t have a lot of Coffee Bean locations where I live but became a fan of them when I was in LA. McCarren airport in Las Vegas has one in the Alaska terminal, and caffeine after Vegas, returning to your normal lives, is definitely needed. Since I’m no longer drinking soy and can’t drink milk, my usual go-to is an Americano but these guys offer ALMONDMILK! The guy laughed at my joyful reaction and said that was the normal response he hears from people haha! Because it was such a treat to have almond milk, I decided not to have coffee and had the green tea with almond milk and it was delicious. It wasn’t sweet and was chock-full of green tea flavor and matcha texture. Outstanding. (There was also an electrical outlet in front of the coffee bar. I may have plugged in my phone to charge while I was there ;)

Why 4 stars? Because this iced coffee deserves no complaint. — — — The sign on the menu labeled their iced coffee to be the best coffee in the world. Was it that? Hard to say. That’s like going to the mall, walking around about half of the Macy’s, and labeling it the best mall in the world. I haven’t been to places like Belgium, Russia, Prussia, Monaco, Peru, Edmonton, The West Indies, New Brunswick, Roanoke, or The Republic of Congo. There are other places as well, but that about covers most of it. I guess I’ll have to go back to The Coffee Bean, and then visit these other places to compare.

My flight out of the Vegas airport was delayed so I needed something to sip while I read my book and waited to board. This Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf was the first spot I saw near the C gates to get a drink. As I walked up I noticed a sign for pineapple flavored iced tea. I was intrigued. I asked the lady helping me if she had it, and if she liked it. Her expression said it all. I ended up getting an iced amaretto latte instead. The drink was good, albeit a tad too sweet for me(and I tend to like sweeter drinks). A little pricey but it’s the airport, everything is marked up there it seems.
