The Chocolate Bar

This bar is located inside the NY-​NY casino, right next to the Hershey Store store entrance. It’s exactly what it says: a bar that serves specialty chocolate alcoholic drinks. They also have a regular drink menu in case you start having a seizure from all of the sugary drinks, (but as with all Vegas bars, don’t expect any craft beers on tap).
I had their, «Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Martini» made of Castries Peanut Butter Rum, Three Olives chocolate vodka, Marie Brizard Chocolate Liqueur, and topped with small Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups; (see my photos below). It was really good but SUPER sweet. As much as I love chocolate, it was even a little too sweet for me. But don’t be fooled: it was still a legitimate martini. I was definitely tipsy by the time I was chowing down on my Reese’s Peanut Butter cups.
The only negative about this place is the ambience: the bar is really small (I was expecting a lounge or café) and I wish the aesthetics of the bar matched the coolness of the drinks. Ironically, the bar looks like any normal bar in Vegas. It would have been nice if the look of the bar was as fun and colorful as the Hershey store.

If you like chocolate and alcohol, then you’ll love this bar! It’s a small bar located by the Hershey’s shop inside the N. Y N.Y hotel. I got the caramel chocolate martini which was good It was made strong too-​:) It’s not cheap. I think that drink cost $ 15. There is a Reese’s one too which I should’ve gotten instead, but oh well.
I’ll get that next time! There are only about 15 seats at the bar maybe, so this isn’t a good place for large groups. That’s O. K as you can walk around with your drink of course! The bartender made the drink really fast! I think that my drink was made in about a minute! While your there, check out the chocolate statue of liberty inside the Hershey’s store.

As far as chocolate and alcohol goes… this place shows that the two make a great pair.
I visited for the first time this past summer and didn’t get a chance (or more so forgot) to put in a quick review so I’m doing it the second time around.
All martini’s I’ve tried have been prepared generously with alcohol LOL… enough to keep me coming back for more and it doesn’t take away from the chocolate flavor. Out of the three I’ve tried so far, the Hershey’s kisses chocolate signature martini is my favorite. Good stuff.
On a side note, a couple of my martini’s and shots have been comped with MyVegas point’s which is a game played both through their Facebook app and mobile app. The drinks are fairly reasonable in cost but if you want a free drink or two just to give it a try, I recommend playing. Free or not, I like this bar and will continue to visit for both my chocolate and alcohol fixes at the same time LOL

What could be better… A chocolate bar outside a chocolate candy store! I had the «Death by Chocolate» martini and I don’t think I’ve ever had a better cocktail! Finished it in no time (it went down way too easy!) and before leaving the casino, I got another one to go. Now, not that I was drunk or anything, but I think the Blue Man Group was one of the funniest shows I’ve seen!

Come see Anthony, although I was very hesitant to order a chocolate martini he assured me that these are still very manly drinks lol. I ordered he Hershey kiss which was the strongest drink on the pre order menu… they have a tv, it had football so that gets a star alone lol. I would’ve like to seen more drinks… maybe a cookie and cream type drink… all in all the drink I had was creative and refreshing. I forgot to add that you could take the drink to go…

We were at the Hershey’s Chocolate World at New York New York and we walked out towards the casino and a light shined down upon the Chocolate Bar and I heard ahhhhhhh as we walked towards the bar! My wife and I got two signature drinks I got the Death by Chocolate and my wife got the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Martini. All I can say is OH MY GOD! These were the best martini’s I have ever tasted! Once I got down to the bottom of the chocolate heaven there was a Hershey’s Kiss at the bottom WOW! Go check this place out if your any where near it is worth it! GO GO GO get that Chocolate!

The Chocolate Bar is located in the New York New York on the lower level of the hotel.
The bartenders make the most outstanding presentations of drinks and master the art of making the strongest martinis. I didn’t have to request it, that’s the problem… (I didn’t finish my drink it was too strong). If you like dirty martinis, chocolate bar is for you! Very pricey indeed!

Who doesn’t like chocolate? In a martini this place rocks! I’d have to say these chocolate, caramel and Recces martinis are very good!

This is a brilliant concept… a small little bar right outside the casino entrance of Hershey World! Think about it! The entire family wants to scream and claw their way through multiple floors of Hershey propaganda, merchandise and of course chocolate products, while you casually say…
«I am going to wait here and have a chocolate martini, take your time.»
— you are STILL participation in the chocolate festivities, only on your own way, with out screaming kids, casually relaxing over some festive chocolate inspired cocktail.

Bartender was very sweet. I ordered the Chocolate Caramel Martini. She forgot the chocolate around the inside of the glass, so she gave me extra rolos. Yummo! I’m thinking I’ll stop here every night of our visit, just to try a different drink each night. A bit pricy, but hey… it’s Vegas. What isnt. And these chocolate drinks are well worth it.

I found this place on Unilocal and definitely wanted to check it out. I love a good martini! I didn’t think the drinks would be strong since their chocolate Martinis. But the guy even warned us before we even ordered. Lol. I can’t remember the name of my drink but it was clear!!! It tasted delicious but I only got through half before tapping out. Let’s just say I was definitely feeling good by the end of the night.
I would definitely come back for a good, strong chocolate martini!

VERDICT: It’s right next to the Hershey store! They have signature drinks!
QUALIFIER: We only had enough time to sample the beer selection. Several gamblers requested change from him, which distracted from the ambiance; not the bar’s fault.
DRINK: Only 4 chocolate stouts available, but the bar tender favorites were delicious.
SERVICE: We didn’t get to order a fancy cocktail. Perhaps next time. But we saw him create the cocoa concoctions, which seemed to be a hit with the very few patrons there.

I had one of the best drinks I’ve ever had here. I am definitely a fan of a chocolate martini, so the Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Martini was bound to be a favorite. It’s right outside the Hershey’s store in NYNY, and the bartenders were very attentive. They made a fantastic drink, and I wanted to go back for a second time, but it opened too late the day we were leaving — which would be my only complaint. :) I would definitely make the Chocolate Bar a place to stop for a drink on any future trip to Vegas.

This is a small touristy bar located inside the NYNY Hotel, which is where my bf and I were staying on our last trip. I was joking with him the entire trip that we HAD to try the chocolate martinis thinking they would be so gross. I mean chocolate and alcohol, gross right? Wrong. These martinis were so delicious and sweet and all alcohol. The bar tender was so friendly and gave great recommendations with a wonderful attitude. I was also vey impressed that the bartender turned away a couple, that had clearly had too much, or may have been on something other than alcohol. I thought that was so responsible and very good of him to do so.
My boyfriend had the peanut butter cup martini which was so sweet and tasted exactly like a peanut butter cup. I had the coconut chocolate martini which tasted like and almond joy, which in my opinion was better than the peanut butter cup. I really feel like you can’t go wrong ordering any drink at this bar. Also, the other customers at this bar were very chill and great to talk to. This bar had a great vibe about it.
Overall, this bar is such a fun, quirky experience accompanied by great drinks and great service. Will be going back on our next trip!

The good drinks range from 10 dollars and up! So we happened to spend a LOT of money there too! Drinks were worth it.
Hersey’s Chocolate Signature is my Favorite! Clear and Complete alcohol but still tastes like a candy bar!

Mmmmm really good dessert martini. I only recommend going here for after dinner drinks because everything is really sweet. The peppermint patty and Reese’s cup martini were delicious! Go early because the small bar fills up quick!

If you like sweet drinks this is the place for you. It is a small bar with a great cocktail menu full of candy inspired drinks like Jolly Rancher, Reeses, Almond Joy and Peppermint Patty martini’s. The drinks aren’t all candy. There are some fruity cocktails as well as beer, wine and champagne. The bartenders are friendly and prices are reasonable. Great spot to grab a drink.

The chocolate bar is where you get your chocolate fix on. And Jennifer, the bartender, is the best!!! I had the Death By Chocolate, wife had Hershey’s Caramel Martini and bro in law, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Martini. She made them luscious and strong. She’s so nice and makes you feel very welcome. She deserves a raise.
This is going to be a regular for us every time we visit Las Vegas. And hopefully Jennifer will be here. You can’t miss this place, it’s right outside the Hershey’s store in New York New York.
