Been coming here for years, but looks like new owners have taken over… used to be Hispanic folks working the store but now, new owners are Korean… I know as I’m half Korean myself and heard them talking loudly in Korean. No problem normally… don’t care as long as I can get questions answered and service with a smile… but today was bad… walked in store a young Korean gal was blasting Korean pop music!!! Not bad if most of your customers are young and like that, but the speaker is right at the register pointing right at the checkout… my hair was blowing like a fan for the loudness!!! Asked the girl to turn it down, she complied without a word, and after I walked away, 2 minutes later turned it back up!!! Can you believe it? Saw older Korean lady doing inventory, found out she is the owner, and mentioned being a long-time customer, got her to crack a smile, then kindly mentioned how the loud music might unintentionally scare customers away… she stopped smiling and went back to doing her inventory work… no apology or comment at all!!! Don’t think these folks understand customer service at all let alone care about. If this keeps up, maybe a new owner will come in and make it right again like it used to be… too bad, it doesn’t take much to be nice as a mom and pop store owner… will not consider this store again as a «must stop» any longer… hope they learn quick before it’s too late!!!

The workers there are very kind. Specially the cashier Fillipino guy who works there. The stuff there are not all 99cents but they have some good deals. The socks are nice. I think i saw most of things at swap meet. But cheaper. Nice worker and nice deals. I would go back.

This is one of those needle in a haystack 99 cent stores. Not your chain outlet. There’s only one of these in this town. Be aware that not everything is 99 cents. Honestly, they should probably change their name. When they first opened everything was 99 cents, but no longer. Despite this, they have some really great deals here and the majority of the things I buy aren’t 99 cents. Best deals on things like Tide and Downy, sports socks and batteries to name a few and the things that are 99 cents are a pretty good bang for your buck. If you haven’t checked this one out, I highly recommend you do. It’s at least worth one visit.
