Sunrise Vista

Awesome course to play on and the staff is very friendly. their food has changed a bit from last month but all is still good here. Hope it keeps on getting better.

Sunrise Vista is the golf course/​clubhouse on Nellis AFB.
We are having an event on base soon so we came here to check out the facility as well as inquire about green fees (since the hubby’s clubs have been collecting dust lately).
Nice grounds and a large room with a bar area available. Outdoor patio too for weddings and private parties.
We also checked into green fees and it varies by rank. Twilight hour after 12 noon is the best deal. $ 20 includes fees and cart for me and my hubby no limited time on course for 9 or 18 holes. Kids allowed on course:) but no clubs available for them.
Lessons available by a private pro and his card is available at the Pro Shop.
Snack bar all in the same building. We had a quick lunch and the hamburger’s are wonderful and kids enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and some homemade chocolate chip cookies. TVs were playing the game and it was quiet not too many people. Ask for the Ranch dressing to dip your fries in it’s really good.
So check it out if you’re on base.

I played golf at Sunrise Vista on Nellis AFB and had a blast. There are 3 — 9 hole courses available — Eagle, Falcon and Raptor. Lots of open space, so I didn’t have to worry about hitting anyone when I was teeing off! Friendly staff and great prices. If you golf after 12 PM, you get a cart and unlimited golf for $ 20. The food in the snack bar is also 1^st rate. While you eat, you can watch sports on several large LCD TV’s. If you get a chance to play here, take it.
