Great steaks, appetizers and drinks! One the pricier side but it was definitely worth while!!!

The steak was dry and over cooked and both of our baked potatoes had bad spots in them.

Service was amazing. Atmosphere was top notch. Our waitress was funny and very nice. That said, we arrived on time but couldn’t be seated because everyone was in a staff meeting. The lobster tasted like rubber and the Baked Alaska was off.

I just had an amazing dining experience with Scott this evening. His recommendations on food, cocktails, and wine pairings were no less than superb. I had the New York Strip and the black truffle spinach that paired fantastically with a full bodied Cabernet that he suggested. The meal ended on a high note with the Baked Alaska, another one of his recommendations. I will definitely suggest this restaurant to my fellow colleagues.

Excellent food! Definitely pricey but it’s worth it! We all got some sort of steak — I personally got the New York strip medium rare which was perfect– and scallops or crab meat. We slit calamari as an appetizer and ordered a few sides to split with our steaks and they were all fabulous! I highly recommend:))

I wish I could give Strip House Steak House 6 stars! Located in the Planet Hollywood Hotel on the second level this restaurant has a dark/trendy atmosphere. Price range $$-$$$. I went with a group of 5 people and we shared various appetizers and each had filet steak for our main meal. Appetizers/Entrees shared: — Spicy Tuna Tartar –Calamari –Oysters –French Fries –Caesar Salad –Asparagus –Broccoli –Lobster Pasta –12 oz. Filet Mignon Food was absolutely amazing, service was superb, experience was memorable.

First, let me start out by saying the atmosphere and décor made me like this place as soon as I walked in. They have old time models and pin-up style pictures on the walls, the restaurant is dimly lit, and the red accents pop! This is a very«sexy» and possibly romantic restaurant. The bread on the table is actually pretty good. I have a piece of the cheese topped bread and the pretzel bread. Both very good. For dinner I had the 8oz filet Oscar style and a side of twice baked potatoes. The steak was very good but it had a strong seasoned taste to it that isn’t «standard» when you order a steak. I also felt like more Bearnaise sauce could have been given since I paid $ 18 to make my steak Oscar style.(I didn’t say anything though) Finally, the twice baked potatoes were delicious and they give you enough to share. Even though I was so full after dinner, I wanted to try dessert so I had a couple bites of the raspberry sorbet. Delicious and a very pretty presentation. Overall, this is a nice steakhouse, just not my favorite in town. If you’re seeing a show or at Planet Hollywood to gamble, this is a good choice.

We went to Strip House, but we did not have a great experience. The service was slow and it took a while to get our food. We ordered the Lobster Bisque which was not very good. It lacked some flavor. For our main entrée we got the Fillet Mignon which was soft and very tender. The only problem I had is that the crust had a lot of peppercorn which made the dish a bit overwhelming. We also ordered the Tuna dish. I personally enjoyed that dish a lot. The Tuna was perfectly cooked and fresh. For our side dish we ordered the sautéed mushrooms. They had a good flavor, but they were very average. For our final entrée we got the Chocolate Brownie. The portion of the dish was very good for sharing. However, I was not impressed with the flavors. The brownie was a bit cold and the flavors were just ok. Overall, I would most likely not come back to this restaurant. The strip has so many great restaurants that it’s easy to find a restaurant with better service and delicious food.

It’s delicious. Cool vibe, great service and delicious food. The oysters app is a must. Can’t go wrong with steak or seafood. All sides were tasty. Great spot for a large group.

The Décor is excellent. First of all, let’s start with the waiter. John the most professional waiter I’ve dealt with. The pasta was awesome and my wife’s Surf and turf was tasty. Then I order the Banana Tart with the Gelato. Pic is coming. Definitely coming back when I come back to Vegas.

I went back to see if the first visit, which I adored, was a fluke. I am thrilled to report it was not. I booked a special room– and let me tell you they did this right. I was taken care of at every step. They had the whole thing planned out. They took my card before so I would be certain to avoid a client trying to grab the tab. They asked for any special requests and they met each one. The wine room was a perfect setting. They had it set up with great flair and design. The service and food were exceptional. I could go on forever– but honestly I quit reading these reviews after a bit and I’m sure you do too. Do yourself a favor– go to this hidden gem.

Best steak I have ever eaten. Table side carved NY strip for 2. This place isn’t cheap but worth it. Plan on spending 2 hours as this is leisurely diner. 24 layer chocolate cake is big enough for 4 people. It is gigantic. Scott was outstanding as our server.

The Strip House in PH was our second stop for steak during a week long golf holiday. After a poor experience at Gordon Ramsay’s Steak in the Paris we were a bit hesitant. Our table decided on the Surf & Turf x 2 as well as the Porterhouse for 2. Sides were the mushrooms, mac and cheese and asparagus. Dessert — the 12 layer cake and Baked Alaska. Service was excellent, prompt and attentive. Carlos, was also knowledgable in what we were looking for in a good wine. The food was delicious and not too overly priced(unfortunately most places in Vegas are). The Porterhouse was excellent as well as the sides with the exception of the asparagus which was quite bland. The lobster was cooked very well and proved to be deliciously tender. Dessert was tasty and devoured by the table. Lastly, cocktails were well made and refreshing. All in all, an excellent meal with excellent service. Definitely recommended.

Béarnaise sauce is out of this world. The mashed potatoes and cosmopolitans were amazing as well. I would come back to this restaurant in the future. The service was fast and friendly.

What a place! Good service and outstanding food. The Parmesan crusted steak and potatoes Romanov with chili’s were what I ordered and I was dumbstruck as to how good it was. If you are looking for a fine dining experience in Vegas, then the Strip House should be on your short list of places to go.

Of course the food is wonderful! You get what you pay for. The SERVICE, is what I’m talking about. My glass could never get close to low. The bread basket, same thing. You want a really great dinner, this is the place. Potatoes romanof, filet and lobster, roasted garlic bulb, awesome across the board. I don’t even eat steak sauce, the waiter put it on the table. If I could buy this I would use steak sauce, you must try. This place needs 6 stars. Great SERVICE! Almost fogot to give my waiter, Scott, credit for the excellent service, that made me want to write this review in the first place.

Ok so it’s not really dressy, the guys cannot wear tanks and absolutely no swimsuits other then that your ok. Lighting is dark and can be romantic if you want. Everything is a la carte. Our server is awesome. We did 4 sides with 6 people and it was a lot. Prosciutto– 5 stars Oysters– very fresh 5 stars Crab cake — 5 stars Mac and cheese– 5 stars Asparagus– 4 stars Goose potatoes– 1 star Mushrooms– 5 star My husband and I split a ribeye entrée and that was made perfect. The price was crazy. Almost $ 100 a person, but the experience was nice. Probably come back and do a couples dinner.

I didn’t think this place is anything special. The restaurant wasn’t even busy and the server seem disoriented. The food was just less then good, not worth paying $ 40 – 60 for it. The only nice dish was the spicy tuna tartar. I would recommend Gordon Ramsey Steak, or Stack if you’re looking for a nice steak dinner in the area.

Went with friends. High points and low points. High point: scallop appetizer was excellent. Low point: beefsteak tomato and bufala mozzarella was just average. High point: filet topped with crab was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their steaks. The tuna was also good. Garlic green beans were also a winner, as were the loaded gratin potatoes(on special) and the mac n cheese. Low point: asparagus was bland. High point: brownie sundae and the torte were favorites. Cheesecake was very smooth and yummy as well, but needed extra sauce. Low point: crème brûlée …ick for me. Service was great on a Sunday night. Atmosphere is nice.

I arrived in Vegas early so I decided to go out and treat myself to a good meal. I was staying across at the Vdara, but PH is my favorite place to hang out. So when I saw there was a steak house, why not? I love steak. I was seated first at the bar, my first impression was this was definitely a high class place, you can just tell by looking around, plus it’s in a casino/resort in Vegas, it has to be right. The bartender was super friendly, we talked for a while and since I was alone, the company was nice. It’s always a good thing when the bartender talks to you because that means he cares about his job and his customers, which is why I left a fat tip at the end. I ordered the steak and asparagus. It was amazing! The steak was cooked just the way I liked it. medium rare, and the asparagus was fresh and tasted great. I was super satisfied when I was done with my meal, couldn’t been happier. This is a great place to enjoy a good steak, even though price is a little steep, you get what you pay for, it’s vegas! Can’t ball on a budget. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a good meal.
