Drinks and food are priced reasonably, fun atmosphere, good service, yet the food in my opinion was lacking. I had the portobello burger and it was bleh. Kind of soggy in texture and fell apart. The pesto really made the flavor and helped me finish it. Hummus was GROSS. Worst I think I’ve ever eaten and my expectations of hummus aren’t too high. Hummus is hard to screw up in my opinion. Unfortunately my boyfriend ate it all resulting in an impossible return to the kitchen. Overall, this is a bar and a restaurant. So, as bar this place gets 4 stars. :)

Came here for the first time the other day. Did not do much eating but what we did have was good. Deviled eggs … Yep good. Big pretzel yes good. Bartender was attentive and explained future dishes we might like. The bar itself for being a video poker bar is quite spacious and nice. Darts were a hit amongst our friend in between feeding 20.00s into the machines. Jukebox was also very popular with current modern songs deck. I’ll definitely be back ASAP to try the Chicago dogs and pastrami Reuben and the wings !

The last time I ate here was a year and a half ago and my experiences progressively got worse. But I gave it time to grow and decided to try it again. Tried the Mac and cheese, which when they first opened was $ 7 and I ate in 3 bites. It’s now the same price but this may have been the heartiest Mac and cheese I’ve ever eaten for the price and tastes exponentially better. Good job sporting life for improving your food quality and portions, I look forward to trying more.

Been here twice now. Still not a fan of the deviled eggs(lets chalk it up to personal prefrence) but I must say that the chicken wings(whole wings) are some of the best wings I’ve ever had! I love wings. After I enjoyed them I was informed they are salt brined and then confied in duck fat before they’re fried. Let’s just put it this way, I had to stop myself from eating the bones. They where amazingly juicy and literally would pull right apart from the bone like it was cotton candy. The ranch which I used for the celery and carrots was delicious, you could tell that it was made in house and not store bought. I still haven’t had the steamers, I’m dying to try them but I think I might have ruined that chance by trying the wings first. Not sure I’ll ever order anything else. They also had an oxtail poutine as a special tonight that I really wanted to try. I can tell you this, I’ll be back again and any place serving wings as good as theirs is 5 stars in my book!

I moved here a few months ago looking for a good bar that I felt comfortable. I went to Sporting life and have never stopped coming. Between the amazing Bartenders, the great food, and the fantastic managers, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. I am so glad I found this place! They always have every game on… Football, basketball, hockey, etc… And that’s hard to find as a Chicago fan! You will find your favorite bartenders on every shift. Try the pulled pork sandwich, it’s fantastic! 5 stars all the way! This is by far, my new favorite hang out!

This place has a nice set-up with the darts. I saw some people(aka people I went to meet) showing up with their own dart kits. Talk about hardcore. Well, after all, it’s called SPORTINGLIFE bar, right? You better bring that pep and sport in you. Go big or go hooooome. Nice open space, and for a bar, this place has LEGIT food. A friend of mine was eating the gnocchi, and since the chef used to work at Bouchon, it looks EXACTLY like the Bouchon gnocchi’s!!! What a winner, since that’s my fave item at Bouchon. The brown butter sauce was a bit lacking, so more was ordered on the side. Nachos were decent. Not my absolute all time favorite, but I shall return to try more items in the future. I gotta be honest though, I kept calling this place, «Life Sporting Goods.» The bar name just sorta confuses me. I thought it was a sister company of Sports Chalet. Service– 5 stars. Ambiance– 5 stars. Food– 4 stars. Bar name– … no comment.

I just love this place! Always great food and good company especially the bartenders! Levi, although new he knows how to rock the bar! Entertained and well taken care of! I have nothing bad to say about this place! I always recommend to people who are wondering about awesome food and awesome people to meet around the southwest!

One of my favorite local spots in the area. One the surface it’s a typical local gaming sports bar, but it’s actually an unassuming culinary wonder. Ok, well culinary wonder is a bit much, but it sure sounds better than awesome place to eat; which it is. You wouldn’t think a bar like this would have such a unique menu, but you’re in for a surprise. The trend in local Las Vegas seems to be more gourmet/gastro-pubish food in gaming bars, and they certainly are setting a standard. My favorite items: –Pork Belly and Polenta –Deviled Eggs –Chicago Style Hot Dogs –Beer Mac’n’cheese –Tacos; they are awesome! –Killer Beer list Plus it’s a nice place with a good darts area. With a grouping of cozy booths, it’s actually a decent place to bring your significant other.

This is a pretty cool place to watch sports. Tons of tvs and a very spacious bar. They carry a large selection of draft beers. They have a lot of food options and they have a spin to it. We ordered the chicken wings, but I really did not enjoy the whole wing. The wings were also overcooked so I was not a fan. The fried mushrooms were also different, but again I was not a fan. The batter was plain and it needed more flavor. The fried pickles had a white batter. They were a bit better, but overall I was not impressed with the food. During football games they offer $ 3 Coronas and $ 5 bloody Mary’s! Not a bad deal after all! If you only care about a bar where you can watch the game, this place offers a good environment for it!

It pains me to drop my rating because I’m here fairly regularly now. Marie and Troy are wonderful bartenders who are incredibly personable and take the time to get to know their customers. I’m bummed that Jace is gone but people move on and that’s life. The beer selection is awesome and I’ve finally tried the food(pork belly and marinated skirt steak=thumbs up!) However I’m currently sitting here while Jenny and Levi are bartending. From what I understand from the couple sitting next to me they’re both brand new bartenders. Fair enough, we’ve all been new once and I can give people a break, especially when the bar is full. However it was 15 minutes before I was even acknowledged. A wave would’ve sufficed. Levi told me he’d be right with me and then I never saw him again. According to the couple sitting by me it was Levi’s birthday and most of the patrons were his friends which made sense because there were plenty of people who walked in after me who got drinks and offered food menus before I did. Jenny finally came over and I told her I’ve been sitting for a little while and she explained that Levi was training and it’s his birthday. No apology or anything. She didn’t even ask me how I was doing. I requested a magic hat and she didn’t skip a beat when she said, «I’ll make sure to take extra good care of you» with her voice dripping in sarcasm which made me extremely uncomfortable. Will I return? Honestly I’m on the fence. This place is down the street from me and I love the ambience. From watching Levi and Jenny interact with everyone but myself and the couple sitting by me I can tell that they’re both personable, but only to the people who matter to them. I have very little tolerance for being treated like a second class citizen because I’m not bffs with the bartender and I’m not gambling. Management read my last review and I hope they’re still reading these reviews and taking them seriously.

I have a few local bars near me, but this one is the best. First the food here is top notch. Not your typical bar food, some standards but with some style. I’ve tried a lot on the menu, close to everything, I’ve yet to find something I don’t like, even the deviled eggs(I’ve never like deviled eggs) were delicious. Second the staff, from Doogie all the way down are awesome. They all are attentive, pleasant and just there to serve. If you pass on going to this bar, you’re missing out on a Las Vegas gem.

This place is fun! They have darts and picnic tables to give it more of a baseball sporty ambiance. There are also booths and a bar as well if you opt to not sit at a picnic table. The drinks were good as was the food, not nothing to rave about. What you would expect for a bar. I would come back here mostly because it’s close to my house and they have darts!

Finally found a bar that has darts AND it’s right in ma’ hood! They have steel tipped darts. Wow! Chalk boards to keep your own score and pin ball machines in the house. Plus sports boards so you can check the lines on your favorite teams! The bar staff is super friendly and nice too. This is a sweet spot to chill at. I tried the pretzel there and it is HUGE, comes out in a smiley face with different dipping sauces for your pretzel pleasure!

TVEVERYWHEREYOULOOK! You can’t miss a game at this joint for sure! There is literally so many different TVs that for football season or any sport season this place is the place to be! MIA&MOUY(hopefully I spelt that right) were our bar tending girls… it was my first time but the hubby & his boss supposedly come here every Sunday for football. These girls are so full of energy & just so ATTENTIVE on making sure nobody’s glasses are empty! This place also has a box room upstairs that you could reserve for a game that includes TVs all around that room as well! Plus they have a betting score board up to see all the scores. Definitely a look new place! & it’s not so dark like most gaming bars are!

OK I’m updating this review because we recently did a fantasy football draft here in the upstairs room(didn’t know it existed… great for large groups) and everything was excellent. The service was great, they had about 4 pitchers of ice cold water and glasses set up, and drink orders were taken quickly and returned quickly. Drinks were nice and strong too! Food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meal. I had a pulled pork sandwich and a green side salad. Really good! Lots of positives from our group on their meals. Downstairs the bartenders were very welcoming and always asked how you were doing. This is a great sports bar with lots of tv’s for viewing. You could even watch a few tv’s from upstairs. Wifi was fast and free. Not much else to say other than its clean, its comfortable, and service and food were outstanding. I just wish it wasn’t so far from my house. Thanks everyone… will be back as often as I can!

It’s rare for me to be given out all 5. Let just say I am very happy to have found this place. It’s one of my fav bar in town. I love how clean this place is. Example, the runner who took away my food was wearing gloves; he asked our server to bring me a fresh cup as I requested a refill due to sanitary concern. The runner courteously explained that their policy say the runner who takes food away don’t serve food to customers to avoid cross contamination. The wings and nacho is awesome. My favorite dishes at this place so far. I love the Tuesday night 7pm trivia night. The music is awesome. The staff are trained properly.

This little gem was a pleasant surprise after the new owners completely revamped it(used to be the outside inn). This is not your typical bar… it is super clean, open, and a fabulous menu. The staff is courteous and food is curiously different. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and never been disappointed. They offer unique pizzas, seafood etc. I was shocked how good their skirt steak and clams were. The chef, yes, a real chef, really sets this bar apart. They have darts, pool tables, gaming… the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is their gaming/rewards program is very lacking. No incentive for me to play. Please give this place a try… I think you will be surprised too!!!

Fun, local, neighborhood bar! Visited this bar a couple times usually at night with some friends to grab some drinks. Its fun and lively with trivia games, darts, drinks and some good night time eats its been a pretty great time each visit. Stopped in for lunch for the first time and it was a little different. Not as loud that’s for sure and experienced a more chill time. Enjoyed a few appetizer plates. Bacon wrapped dates, fried mushrooms and the pork belly. All three were really good but my favorite was the dates. The pork belly was soft and really tasty. We were recommended the crêpe with nutella and fresh strawberries with whip cream and drizzled with chocolate. Sounds yummy right?! So I was a Lil disappointed when we ordered it and it came out without whip cream and chocolate, the crêpe was a Lil dry and kind of didn’t taste all the way cooked. Needless to say, I won’t be ordering it again. This is a cool spot so check it out.

I really like this bar! Neal, our server was terrific and very attentive! Especially when playing darts or playing pool you want a server crushing by every 5 or 7 minutes as you drink and develop an appetite. Normally we don’t give huge tips but the server Neal was amazing, we gave him 20 bucks on a 56 dollar tab. I’m so glad I got to go out to the bar and play darts with my girl. What a good time =)
