«Please sir can I have some more?» A line from Oliver… no way… that was me at the Special-​Tea Shoppe at The Lakes. I was fortunate enough to attend to the Royal Tea Society’s Christmas Tea. I did not know if the items on my plate where pieces of art or something to eat. I soon decided they were both. Each bite I took was artwork for every one of my senses. The Shoppe itself is beautiful with the extra enchantment of being lakeside. Each course served left you wanting more until the next treasure arrived. The cheese course was amazing but it is difficult to choose between that and the mushroom tarts. The desserts were surreal. My favorite was the Divinity. Let’s not forget about the tea. Both of the teas served were the perfect compliment to the courses. I enjoyed the subtle the Sugarplum Tea and the aromatic Pumpkin Spice blend.
