I had been all around the area looking for a way to withdraw cash for a down payment on a lease and NOWHERE would anybody accept a debit for the purchase of certified funds. Thanks to Silver Stare Schools i was finally helped. Latoya in the Albertson’s branch was friendly, helpful and professional. Highly recommend this location!

I currently have a vehicle loan through them which I have had no issues with. Very easy and secure payments. I just recently acquired a personal loan through them which I luckily was approved for, but it took a week and a half for them to say anything back about it. I was told that their committee only meets once a week for loans and that’s why I feel it took so long. But the service that LaToya gave me was phenomenal! She kept in touch every step of the way and kept me informed with everything that she knew about it. Just from her great service is the reason why I rate this branch 5 stars. Thank you.

I have bank with many banks in California and Nevada, sad to say this teachers credit union it’s not great!
To break it down service is not great, They give terrible advice, unreliable ATM machines and theres very limited locations (I can understand why), And I’m not just talking about this particular location.

This is a nice branch of Silver State Schools Credit Union. There aren’t many branches around anymore, so I was happy to accidentally find this one, since it is closer than the branch I have been going to lately. The people that work here all seem really happy and pleasant to deal with. The line here usually moves very quickly as well. I am usually in and out in under 10 minutes. It is even quicker if I just need to use the ATM that is available as well.
The only downside is that this location is inside of an Albertson’s grocery store. I have a toddler who often falls asleep in the car, which makes everything more difficult. It can be a hassle to park and walk in with a toddler when I only need a quick ATM run.
This is a great bank and a very nice location.
