I ride an old 2 stroke scooter which is my primary form of transit. Recently, the battery was having problems holding a charge and my electric start was out. I’ve found very few shops around here will look at a two stroke engine and the place I’d taken it to before couldn’t look at it for a few more days. This led me to Sickles and Sleds. When I called and told them my problem, they told me to come in right away and they’d check it out that afternoon. They said if it was something small, they’d get it back to me by five. My bike barely started, but as soon as it did, I crossed my fingers and rode on over. When I got there, all the guys who worked there seemed laid back and pretty cool. They have a bunch of bikes and cool décor and the place was nice. It’s a new shop, almost one year old and they seemed to be doing well. I went over the problem again with them and put the scoot in their hands. Two hours later I got a call saying a wire melted and shorted out and they’d fix that up and have it done by 5. Sure enough, as promised, my scooter was done! It fires right up and the electric start works great. The rate was reasonable and they showed me pictures of the fried wiring and explained to me how the problem happened and what they did to make it run right. I was super impressed with the staff, the speed of service, cost and that they simply did what they said they were going to do. I would go back to them again and send my friends there too. Five stars for Sickles and Sleds.
