Let me start by saying all my life I’ve very much disliked going to the dentist. I went through quite a traumatizing experience at a tender young age that involved multiple extractions without anesthesia. Sadly to say that experience had left a bad taste in my mouth about going to the dentist again, literally.
In comes Dr. Kohlmeyer, my wife has been seeing him all her life along with my in laws for 30 plus years. Ellen F. always claimed she has the best dentist. Of course I would disregard her as almost everyone says they have the best dentist, it’s almost synonymous as people saying they know the best sushi spot (or pizza spot here in Vegas).
I’ve seen many dentists over the years and I can for certainty and with all honesty say this is the best one I’ve ever seen. He’s very gentle and tells you everything he is going to do before he does it. The Dr. Is very patient and open to any questions you may have, before you know it he’s finished with the procedure. I did the nitrous oxide which made for a more quick and pleasant experience for me, completely calmed my nerves.
I have my cleaning regularly here and Blaike is great, totally friendly and gentle. While I’m still not completely fearless of going to the dentist my overall demeanor has improved with the process. If your looking for a good dentist or your a scaredy cat like me I highly recommend Dr. Kohlmeyers office, call Melinda and make an appointment.

BEST DENTIST ever… I’ve been coming here since 1990 and Dr Kohlmeyer is the tooth-​father. He is painless kind gentle and he is an artist. The staff is fabulous. I love Melinda… she is the office manager extrodinaire and she will squeeze you in and make sure you are happy. Just a clean humble darling dental office with a huge happy clientele.
