My daughter has been a student of Sensei Ronald Tolentino for the past 9 years. She loves training at this dojo because, as the previous review states, there are no bells and whistles but shotokan training by individuals that really care for their students. It is a family in the truest sense. Walking into a dojo — any dojo — can be an intimidating experience. Everyone here treats new students regardless of their age or experience, as equals. Plus, it’s a fun atmosphere! The kids are excited to go to class!

Reigikai Karate dojo is the real thing! Ron, the Sensei, is definitely running the place because he cares about the students and the art of karate. This dojo is recognized by the USANKF and Japan. There’s not a lot of bells and whistles here, it’s all about just learning the forms and techniques. They are very community oriented, fundraising with car washes and all. The cost is only $ 45/month a person, which is a value for Las Vegas! A lot of places in town charge a ton and you and your family don’t get anywhere near the instruction and attention of this dojo. Plus the location is pretty central in the city.
