I was assigned to Dr. Singh when being kept from the ER for an 11-day stay at UMC. A mediastinoscopy was performed, and I follow up with him every 3 months for my Sarcoidosis diagnosis(ha. It rhymed.) Please let me be clear when I say it’s NOT Dr. Singh on which I am writing this review. The administrative staff at Pulmonary Associates are the absolute worst. After more than a year of visiting this office, I have heard them say terrible things about patients on nearly every visit. The manner in which they speak to patients on the phone is not acceptable in the least. They are condescending and heartless, demeaning and downright unprofessional. They look at each other while on the phone and roll their eyes, and then talk about the patient once the call has ended. I once called to request an appointment, as my symptoms had come back strong and fast — I called 8 minutes before closing and was put on hold for 34:59 — the phone system hung up on me at that point. They definitely forgot about me, and since it was a Friday, I had to wait until the following week to get ahold of someone, when I really didn’t want to deal with them at all. Multiple girls behind the desk have asked me for a Jobvite to come work at Zappos while I was there. They’ve gone into detail about how miserable they are and how much they hate their job. It’s clear to everyone in the waiting room that you are miserable, we can hear everything you say. What in the world makes you think I would want you to come work for the best company with your negative attitude and absolutely horrid customer service? We are, after all, a customer service company. It’s a shame. If there were another pulmonologist I trusted, I would switch doctors because of the staff at Pulmonary Associates. They are the absolute worst.

Terrible experience. Front office treated us rudely, insisting we had no appointment. Would not even call Dr. Stewart to verify. Finally my husband got in to see him and when we told him how his staff had treated us, Dr Stewart shouted at him that he would run his office any way he liked. Took me to the parking lot and told me my husband had cancer of throat and chest.(I guess he considered me not fit to talk to in his office). Hows that for HIPPA? In my opinion, he made a very bad decision n my husband’s care and delayed treatment. My husband has since passed away. And not one word of sympathy or understanding from his office.

So far so good. The doctors know their stuff about all things pulmonary. Dr. Stewart is thorough and his NP KiKi rocks.
