Umami! This was my all time favorite restaurant! The lobster sandwich was the best experience my mouth has ever savored! The tuna tartare was phenomenal! It’s a shame Postrio and the Venetian divorcedHopefully one of their other restaurants has a similar menu. I will miss this restaurant!

My second time at Postrio though it’s been a few years since our last visit. This time we were supposed to be a party of 9 but at the last minute four cancelled out. The hostess handled the change no problem and we were seated at one of the high tables. I went with the asparagus soup for appetizer which was absolutely delicious. Others went with the grilled chicken skewers which were also delicious. For the main course I went with the linguine with clams and pancetta which was just awesome. Another in our party got the salmon and that was one of the best, most flavorful salmon dishes I’ve ever had. Not sure what all was in the seasonings, but just delicious. Another in the party got the Schnitzel and that was easily the biggest meal of the bunch. We also had one pasta with their bolognese sauce which was also very very good. All in all an excellent meal. The waiter was very attentive to the fact two of our party had dairy allergies and checking on each item before serving. Even not serving the peanut sauce with the chicken skewers because it contains cream. Right off the bat we informed the waiter that we would all be paying separately and he told us no problem and at the end of the meal, he handled everything perfectly. So if you are a group all paying separately, just let them know when you sit down. Good beer and wine selection as well in a very relaxed atmosphere. We were seated out on the«patio» where you’re out in the open St Marks square area of the Venetian. Live music was playing off in the distance which was fun.

Came here to meet some colleagues while at a convention for work around 7pm and we were seated at the lounge area inside. It’s actually really cute I mean you can pretty much eat on the patio«outside» under the«sky» in St. Marks Square! Super cute ambiance. My review is only based on drinks and a couple appetizers. I would recommend getting their Moscow mule if you like them. It was the first drink on their menu and I usually get them but this was probably one of the best moscows I’ve had. The Ginger Beer was really good! I mean it had a great kick to it and I’m a little sad I didn’t check to see what kind they used because it was really good! We also go the shrimp tempura and tuna tartare and I’m not sure if it’s because I was starving but I thought they were good lol. I guess I should say my review is mostly about the drink I had lol– I still compare the ginger beer I had in that drink to any I have now. I’d probably come back to try their food but I really liked the ambiance and the the Mule so all in all I had a great time here for drinks and appetizers before going out for more drinks after.

Themed as an informal indoor patio café with a menu covering a handful of WP classics as well as several Italian plates and California-style pizzas it was with complimentary Mimosas that the meal began and offering cheers to an old friend I’d not seen in some time the menu was perused with a three course order originally requested, a fourth only added at the end of the meal when it was revealed that the work of Kamel Guechida was indeed available, an offer I simply couldn’t resist. Joined by an interloping indoor pigeon who was almost as entertaining as the stilt walkers and singers to our side, it was after a long delay that the man who originally served our drinks was finally ‘assigned’ our table and with the lone special of steak and eggs declined it would not be long before two half-portions of pasta arrived, the wide pappardelle soft and smooth beneath bright tomatoes teaming with aromatic sausage while the al dente round noodles slicked with egg yolk and tossed simply with peas and pork was absolutely textbook, perhaps the best version of the dish served in a resort with no shortage of Italian options from which to choose. Always amused by Puck’s Pizzas, at this point a prerequisite for dining at any of his restaurants, it was with brief consideration of both the mushroom iteration that we opted for the newly added breakfast pie and although I’d have preferred the egg to be served runny after the baking process the general balance of the dish was admirable, a hefty amount of sharp cheddar and bacon most detectable on first bite with the light char notes of crust and vegetal notes lingering on the palate thereafter. Choosing ‘one of each’ from the«Batter and Breads» section, suffice it to say that any disappointment regarding soups and sides available only at dinner were mostly forgotten and although the sticky bun was generally underwhelming both in size and in flavor while the stack of cinnamon dusted donuts was far less impressive than those served at Yardbird, the fluffy pancakes with pure maple syrup, blueberries, and candied lemon were absolutely excellent — the $ 13 price-tag notwithstanding. Acknowledging that less ‘batter’ would have been ordered had I known desserts were ready to go it was without batting an eye that two of five delectable sounding options were selected to compliment a double espresso over ice and having last experienced Chef Guechida’s work at Joel Robuchon it came as no surprise that the pastry chef’s work completely stole the afternoon’s spotlight with both the buttery brioche pudding loaded with chocolate beneath intense coconut ice cream and the pear-based sticky toffee cake with pecan studded ice cream the texture of silk absolutely mesmerizing, each elegantly presented and surprisingly restrained in a manner equally befitting the Grand Canal Shoppes or the MGM Grand’s 3* crown jewel of the Chef’s past.

So I’ve never been a big fan of the Wolfgang and a lot of these celebrity chefs more because I believe they over commercialized themselves, but more power to them, I certainly respect them for getting to the top of their game. That said, to get to the top of your game you have to know your craft and deliver the goods, which I find he does whenever I go to one of his restaurants and tonight was no exception. I get that Vegas is what it is and appreciate that no where does it better. The spectacular Venetian«St Marks Square» location, offers al fresco dining without the elements but does offer great people watching, classical music performances across the square and a general nice buzz of people having a good time. friendly staff are pleasant, welcoming and professional. I opted for three appetizers, a spinach salad with apple shavings, pomegranates, candied walnuts, fennel and blue cheese, which was perfectly balanced so all the unique flavors and textures both stood out and complimented each other. The miniature salmon sliders were very well flavored. The chicken satay was juicy with a spicy peanut sauce that that really delivered a delicious flavor and burn. Add it all up and once again Wolfgang and Postrio delivered the goods!

I went during brunch time since they were advertising free mimosas and missed out on the coveted donuts! They gave us apple fritters instead which were perfectly lightly crunchy on the outside and so doughy on the inside filled with apples which were still slightly crunchy and not too sour. It came with an interesting apple paste spread as well as a creamy sauce on the plate which I preferred. We also got monkey bread which was so perfectly sticky with a bit of crunchy texture inside. It’s a bit on the sweeter side but didn’t verge on TOO sweet for me. This was definitely my favorite of the two. I’d be interested in trying entrees here in the future!

Usually I go to Otto which is right across Postrio. It’s the new year, let’s give this place a try. It’s brunch time and they offered free mimosa. I informed the waiter that I don’t drink alcohol and is there non alcoholic option– iced tea, orange juice, etc. It’s not complimentary so I ordered iced tea. This was a turn off that they didn’t provide non alcoholic option which is cheaper for them actually. Menu options looks very appealing. I love Wolfgang’s restaurants especially the one in Beverly Hill and LA. Looking forward to seeing how it is in this Las Vegas place. Corned beef hash with egg was quite yummy. Almost ordered desert but mostly chocolate. Good for those who loves chocolate. I don’t so I passed on.

It is in the shops at the Venetian next to the stage so one can watch the performances. This is both a good thing and a bad thing since I could not hear what the staff was saying while the performances were going on, but other members of my party seemed to enjoy the experience. Due to the place being inside the shops, the ceiling is painted as the sky, so it’s kind of hard to classify it as «outside» or «inside» seating, since the seating we were placed at was inside the mall’s open air plaza. I think I’ll avoid discussing this since I’m not sure how to describe it. The food is particularly expensive, but once again, someone else paid for me. Taste-wise, it is slightly better than the places I’ve compared to from Orange County with no sourness in the food and no low-quality ingredients from what I can tell. They were nice enough to inform us of any potential food allergies we could encounter. The food came out at an acceptable speed, though we received our appetizers first so we could begin eating first. They gave us separate bowls for any items we could share, like soup. What comes with the food is standard, there is nothing noteworthy about it other than the taste.

Everything is still a blur while my eyes are slowly adjusting to the daylight in the blue skies. Where am I? How did I get here? Why can’t I seem to remember much that happened to me before here, but somehow I have a strong feeling I need to be here to fulfill a promise… what? I don’t know. My senses… smell, touch, sound, sight… all coming to. Where is this place? This place seems so familiar to me, but I know it’s not home. Looks like a place I’ve seen somewhere in books, in pictures, on the internet at one point in time in my life. I see lots of people and beautiful shops. Many look like tourists. I hear the voice of a tenor serenading… the soothing echoes of a language I can’t seem to understand find me through this leisure crowd. The overwhelmingly pleasant aroma of italian spices is making my stomach sing a very different song. I need to get something to eat. As I walk along shops of elegance and charm, I see a canal where boats carry lovers throughout this seemingly romantic place. Ah yes… these boats… I know these boats. They are gondolas! Venice, Italy! But how did I manage to get all the way here when I’m sure I was in the US last night!!! This is starting to scare me. If I retrace to the last thing I remember, it would be… Las Vegas. I was in Las Vegas walking into a club. Now I’m in Venice. Everything in between… nothing. I feel something in my pocket. My phone is going off. A text from my friend. Sonja: Are you here yet? I’m hungry! My break is only 45 mins! Me: You’re in Italy too? Sonja: What are you talking about? I thought we were doing lunch during my break? Me: I don’t know but I’m sure I’m in Venice right now because I see gondolas and I hear someone singing in Italian. Sonja: OMG! Quit messing around and hurry over to St. Mark’s Square! I’m here. Me: I’m serious. Sonja: Are you still drunk? You’re not in Venice… You’re at the Venetian… where I work… in Las Vegas… you drunkie!!! Me: Oh… It all makes perfect sense now! See you in 5 mins. Hangover 4? Nah. It’d just be a blank script. What this hungry dude needs is a good brunch to fill his blank inner canvas with flavor. In matter of minutes, I found my friend arms crossed, tapping her toes, giving me that«fail» smirk right in the heart of St. Mark’s Square… a beautiful open space where different restaurants are set up for outdoor dining indoors(was that an oxymoron?). She says, «My lunch is short now because of you… let’s go Postrio since it’s quicker.» Service is amazingly friendly and welcoming. To feed my hangover and empty belly, I order the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict w Crispy Seasoned Potatoes. It’s so good! Eggs perfect with oozy yolks and the hollandaise has just the right touch to go with the toasted english muffin and savory smoked salmon. Potatoes are so nice and crispy with a very appetizing seasoning. I see chicken apple sausage and have to add that to the side. Get it. Juicy bites of sweet n savory sausage makes the perfect addition to an all American meal. I’m stuffed. In my confused state of existence, I couldn’t ask for a better brunch… familiar and American, in an Italian setting, below gorgeous weather, where gondolas float, love birds cuddle, tenors serenade, and hungover people grub. Ok… person. I think I was the only one there hungover. Remember. You are at the Postrio… Here at St. Mark’s Square, Venetian, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Not Italy.

Postrio is located at the Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes, Postrio presents a menu of seasonal, modern American cuisine with global influences that can be enjoyed on the casual, «indoor» patio overlooking the Carnivale atmosphere of St. Mark’s Square or in the modern dining room. A sleek, bronze-paneled bar extends into the café and a row of sophisticated leather booths are set within tile«cabanas,» forming an intimate lounge along the bar. I was here two times for group business dinners during a recent trade show convention. The first time was a rather large group of about 80 people, while the second time was a smaller group of about 25 people. The organic baby kale salad with artichoke, spring onion, baby carrots and feta cheese was very nice. In fact the quality of the feta cheese was very unusual. Both times I ordered the steak entre and both times I was very pleased with the quality of my steak and the table service here. I know that serving a large group is very difficult. I would return for a regular dinner here.

This restaurant is in the middle of «San Marcos Square» in the Venetian. Yes, the square is kinda cool, it looks a little bit like the real thing. Postrio is nice, the hostess was absolutely a charmer. Service was great. I had the rib eye salad special, which was nice. The appetizer was a gazpacho that was advertised to be more like a soup with lots of interesting things in it, such as panzanilla. It ended up being gazpacho in a large bowl with about 2 tablespoons of things in the middle, including bread crumbs. Too much tomato, which was rather plain, and not enough of the interesting things in it.

I’ve been here twice, on two travels to Sin City. The food was pretty good. I got the fish once. This came wrapped in parchment paper. I felt the lemon was a little overpowering because it was a light tilapia. This was a long time ago and I thought that it was not up to Wolfgang Puck standards, in my head. This time, I got the pizza. It was thin and light but I feel I could’ve gotten that at any other location. It was a delicious pizza but it was on the same level as places not owned by Wolfgang Puck. All in all, it was ok.

My husband and I had lunch here a few Saturdays ago. Restaurant was serving both brunch and lunch. We decided to go with the lunch menu. Options included soups, salads, pizzas, pastas and sandwiches. We started with the gazpacho which was outstanding. Very refreshing, ricotta was an aMazing addition and it was the best thing we tried. My husband had the burger which was also excellent… very fresh, and it came with bacon aioli… who doesn’t like that? I had the Sweet Corn agnolloti. It was tasty, but lacked some seasoning. The fresh pasta was excellent and the corn and ricotta was a creative combination. I wouldn’t get it again, would go for a different pasta dish. Wine list was good with several reasonably priced wines by the glass(hard to find in Vegas). Overall good meal and very good service… however I preferred the menu options and atmosphere at Spago, Wolfgang Pucks restaurant at Caesars Palace, to Postrio.

On the last day of our MDW Vegas trip, our group wanted to grab brunch together before we all left. We were lazy to leave the Venetian we were staying at so we decided to walk around the shops and find something to our liking… Obviously we chose Postrio! Their menu was divided into brunch, small plate, medium plate, and large plate options. I think everyone in our party chose something from the brunch section! Our waiter gave us fantastic service, I wish I remembered his name! I love that he always served the ladies first and tried to make pleasant conversation with us whenever he came to check up on the table. We also each got a complimentary mimosa with our entrees! Yummy ;D Everyone was happy with their food :) The favorites were the eggs benedicts which you could get with either traditional canadian bacon, smoked salmon, lobster, or vegetarian. Mmm I got the lobster benedict and it was amaaazing with huge chunks of lobster. They definitely did not skimp out on me! Great atmosphere, great company, great food = couldn’t be happier!

I give this place 3.5 stars! .,. the name was so confusing bc it had wolfgang puck in it buuuuut Unilocal notified me a couple days later i got it wrong): My friend and i were starving and trying to soak up fat tuesday alcohol with some food and we decided on this place ! We originally wanted to go to the restaurant next door/across the walkway, but the waitresses/hostesses were super snobby and rude there, so we came here instead, where the employees were incredibly nice to us. We had seen their happy hour everyday all day and was very curious in their small medium and large plates. Their prices even NOT on happy hour were very reasonable, especially for overpriced Vegas food and meals. We were seated at the bar for happy hour specials and were handed some complimentary popcorn from the bartender working there. After contemplating on the menu, we decided on: –wild mushroom pizza($ 16): loaded with lots of mushrooms, but it was alright. for a restaurant that also had a pizzeria, i thought it would be fantastic! but the crust was kind of hard and the overall pizza was kinda cold… –homemade meatballs($ 6): comes in 3 meatballs the size of half a fist, maybe smaller and a slice of bread. The meat was soft when you bit into it. You cant really taste too much of the beef(?) but the sauce was delicious –garlic aoli french fries($ 7): MMM this was the highlight of our meal. If you like soft or like yard house fries, you will definitely like this! They give you mustard and ketchup but you can really just eat it with no condiments. I would have given them a 3 stars, but the service was superb! The bartender checked up on us frequently and entertained us with questions and experiences about his trip to Europe. And when we packed the stuff to go, he gave us a cute little box for the pizza and an extra container of ketchup. Overall, i think this is a cute restaurant to go to for cheap food in Vegas! For under $ 30, you can feed two people for dinner! But then again, we had fat tuesday alcohol in our stomach and we’re petite LOL

Puck again hits a home run! We have gone to several of his restaurants and have not been disappointed yet. We had brunch-the omelet was delicious as were the pancakes. Trevor was attentive and took great care of us. Omar kept the coffee flowing and this is important in Vegas in the morning! Great views as it is close to the gondolas with faux sky and buildings. Very relaxing setting. We will be back!

Had Michael as our server, HORRIBLE service. Our treatment versus others around us was atrocious. After ordering and chatting up with my friend she pointed to tables around us. I noticed he was putting bread baskets down on tables and when I asked for ours he said it was available during request. A couple sat down after us and I overheard him offer them a bread basket, then he offered it to other tables that sat down. We bought a bottle of wine like we usually do and he was never around to refill our drinks, I got up once to do it myself and a busperson came over to do it for me. I took care of him since Michael wasn’t around. And then another thing I overheard behind me, he told them the two specials that weren’t on the menu. Something about lobster and risotto I think, two of my favorite things! We ended up ordering a filet mignon(alright), new york steak(alright), and the peanut soufflé(damn good). If you dine here, do NOT risk your dinner experience with Michael as your server. I still tipped him 20% because that’s who I am but it’ll be a toss up if you get shitty service or the stand in the middle of the restaurant where they place their order type of service. Even the two managers on at the time weren’t going around asking people how their meals or dining experience was going. They seemed like an inseparable pair, always going off together and coming back to the podium together.
