First time to visit this restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly hostess. She sat us down and we asked about the hot pot… specifically the seafood. The service was very fast. We got a mini burner and the pot with the broth and seasoning packet. Then she brought the plate with cabbage, corn, and a whole bunch of seafood. My wife totally enjoyed it, I only the other hand didn’t care for the star anise and five spice. Overall experience was good.

This restaurant is located inside the Gold Coast Casino. It is a cross between Hong Kong Style and Taiwanese Style dishes. They offer bento boxes, lunch specials, hot pot, and regular family style rice dishes. Overall, the food is good, but it didn’t stand out in any way that would get me to come back. The hot pot dishes are perfect for individuals. For a set price you get a pre-set dish of raw veggies and meats. The hot pot comes out on a portable gas stove and most people eat an order by themselves. If you eat on the lighter side, you can share this dish as well. I recommend the spicy soup base. It is spicy, but very tasty. I personally like to order a extra side order of egg noodle and wontons with my hot pot. Their bento boxes are really great for people who want their own personal meal. Bentos boxes come with rice or fried rice, an egg roll with sweet n sour sauce, a bowl of egg drop soup, cucumbers, a fortune cookie, and an entrée of your choice. Bento boxes average around $ 15 each. Their appetizers and pretty good if you’re wanting a taste of other dishes. The chicken wings are chicken wings. They are good, but nothing too special. The Peking Duck Tasters are good, but not worth the $ 10 because it only comes with 3 pieces of duck and buns. The service was the absolute worst here, but it’s not something uncommon for a traditional Chinese restaurant. My party sat waiting for the waiters to come over and take our drink order and food order for 30 minutes before we realized that you have to get the waiter’s attention to order or they had no intention of coming to stop by our table. I literally asked for utensils five times and they would keep saying«okay,» but then never bringing me any. In addition, condiments like the sauces that came with the hot pot or the soup that came with the bento boxes had to be asked for instead of it automatically coming out with the dish. I don’t care about fancy service, but I expect that the waiters would at least come take our order and bring out our food on their own instead of the customer having to beg for their service.

Hot pot is very popular. Lots of good greasy noodle dishes, all well prepared. We ate there a few times and always enjoyed our meal. We even took left over food to the airport. Staff is sweet and helpful Number one reason to head over to this Noodle Exchange. they have FRESHCOCONUTS. with a straw. If you are lucky you might get a soft one and the coconut meat can be scoped out to eat. One less star. sorry to say that the casino area stinks

My fiancé and I stopped to eat here before playing bingo. Food was delicious, service was fast and attentive. My only complaint is the girl at the register swiped my card twice charging me double for the meal.

This is our go to place when we visit Sin City! Wonderfully spiced and so flavorful. My wife is very picky about her Chinese restaurant choices because she wants authentic and let’s just say we went 75% of the days on our 4 day visit last month! Hot Pot is the way to go and one order filled us both up. The lunch specials are great deals as well especially compared to the overpriced restaurants on the strip. We will definitely be back!

After observing regular diners to this restaurant, I figured the hot pot is probably the best option on the menu. However, my boyfriend and I were hoping the Noodle Exchange would serve as a decent alternative to Ping Pang Pong, which was, at the time of our visit, closed for a private event. The menu is a hodgepodge of Asian cuisine, offering Japanese and Thai items alongside orange chicken and Mandarin chicken salad. Appetizer — Wor Wonton Soup: Plump dumplings, tender chicken slices, and a few shrimp, this was the best item ordered and is perfect to share with one other person. Main course — Combination Stir Fry Noodles: according to our waiter, this is considered to be a popular item. To me, this was bland, except for the occasional surprise of flavor I tasted from the slices of BBQ pork. Main Course — Mushroom fried rice with breaded meat cutlet: Basic friend ride with minuscule amounts of mushrooms. I didn’t care for the over-seasoned and fried meat cutlet. Won’t be returning.

Well no noodles were exchanged, neither was the egg roll that I paid for. I guess I’m not the only one to experience poor service.

Before coming to this restaurant, pretend you have traveled to China. Then the change in attitude, language and level of friendliness will be expected and not seen as rude. I have always said, if you see ethnic people eating in an ethnic restaurant you can’t go wrong and we didn’t. We did not order the hot pot, which seems to be THE item to get here, so I think some of our slower service was due to this. We ordered dumplings, and the peking duck sampler as our starters. Both were very good. There were generous portions of duck for just 3 pieces. If you have never had Peking duck(Hong Kong style) and want to try it, this is an inexpensive way to get a taste. We loved both of our starters, they however did not come out in order. For our main courses, we ordered a Bento box with shrimp in lobster sauce and combo noodles, with crispy noodles. The noodles dish was superb! Everything was tasty, but this noodles dish really stood out. They are after all a noodles restaurant. Definitely would like to come back for the noodles and try a hot pot.

Located inside the Gold Coast Casino and Hotel is this little gem for authentic Chinese food and noodle dishes. Very popular is the personal hot pot especially during the winter months. My personal favorites are the beef or lamb hot pots with a side of fish filets for variety. I like the clear broth to keep everything fresh and healthy but I recommend trying the spicy broth and herbal broth at least once. Sometimes the wait can be annoying since hot pot usually takes longer to cook and eat and customers just tend to linger longer than usual during dinner time. Noodle Exchange has a convenient bar seating area for solo dining or a quick meal. The lunch combinations provide a good amount of food for the price but the quality and taste sometimes reflects what you pay for as some dishes are bland and some dishes are overwhelming with flavor.

Whenever I’m at Gold Coast, my choice is either Ping Pang Pong or Noodle Exchange. Usually during the colder season, I tend to opt for Noodle Exchange for their hot pots. SERVICE Typical service you get at any other Chinese restaurant. Not too friendly, but they are quick to take your order, refill drinks, get you the check or anything else you need. FOOD My usual is their Beef Combination($ 14.99). You get a choice of mild or spicy but I can’t handle any heat so I always get mild. You get a medium sized pot with a tea bag(?) which contains all kinds of spices in it. I actually ripped it open one time to investigate what was inside, as if I was in a biology lab doing a dissection. This tiny bag had herbs, slices of ginger and other unknown spices that I had no clue of. Needs further investigation. Beef Combination comes with mushrooms, tofu, fish cakes, corn tomato, daikon, taro, noodle and fish balls. Beef is thinly sliced and is very similar to shabu shabu. You also get a choice of lamb or seafood combination hot pot but I have only ordered beef. It’s a decent portion and I always enjoy cooking at the table. CONCLUSION Come here for the hot pot! Place is always packed and super loud but I am coming back again on another cold day.

So good so good! Customer services on point, waiter & busser actually come and check up on customers considering that this place is an asian restaurant. Located hidden inside the casino but thats what make it special! Would come back for the hotpot noodles before going out clubbing.

I can’t say much for the other menu items as I was not very adventurous but the spicy mini hot pot was delicious! I shared it with someone and it was a perfect light meal. We did beef — they slice the meats thin in house. You can order extra items for the pot but the standard fare was tasty and more than enough! I could have lived without the fried gluten ball or fish cake but to each their own. The spicy was more flavor than burn your face off but is a must for my next trip!!! The entire pot was around $ 15 and they refilled our broth as we went along.

We were seated as soon as we got there. Staff was accommodating and fast in refilling our soups, water, etc. But, after we got our orders, we still had to wait for over 15 minutes because they ran out of rice.

During our recent Vegas trip, stopped in for lunch. Went for the teriyaki chicken. Loved the preparation — whole breast pieces cooked, then sliced, not stir-fried chunks. People love their«hot pots», and they are now available all the time.

Randomly came in here and we were hungry so we stopped at the first place we saw. We were starving and it was like 9 pm and they were busy so that was a good sign. Everyone had hot pots. I have never had a hot pot but it looked like the way to go, so I ordered the beef one. My bf got some pork concoction that he liked too. The hot pot was so good and a lot of fun! I liked making my food in there. It was a fun experience. It came with a bunch of meat, some mushrooms, a few other veggies, corn on the cob, tofu, noodles, and lettuce. You boil them into the pot until they are done, take them out and eat it. It was a fun experience.

My friend’s uncle recommended a Chinese spot for noodles and dumplings by the Rio and Gold Coast casinos. Took some guessing and hoping, but we finally figured that he had meant the Noodles Exchange in the Gold Coast. Like many of the casino restaurants, it was an open style just off the casino space. Unlike many of the casino restaurants, there was a rather high Asian population at this establishment. We figured that boded well for our meal. We each picked a personal soup noodle dish and shared a plate of Garlic Snow Pea Leaves $ 10. Mine was the Won Ton Noodle Soup with Beef Stew(shrimp & pork fillings) $ 10.99. It was satisfying to have something green in our meal after a week of not eating particularly healthy while on vacation. And their noodles and wontons were quite good. In fact, one of my DCs voiced that it was better than what we currently can get in Boston.

I ate here a couple of times when I stayed at the Gold Coast and enjoyed it. They are a busy little restaurant in the casino, but I had good service. I haven’t tried the hot pots, but from what I saw they looked amazing! I had a beef and noodle dish and it was good. My only complaint was that the beef was fatty and not that high of quality. Otherwise, it was pretty good and I will try it again when I’m at the Gold Coast.

What saves this place from getting one star from me was the taste of the food, but other than that, this place was absolutely terrible for me and my family When we were trying to get seated, we didn’t know where to sit and we asked the hostess in the front and she said in a rude way that we had to stand over there, where it wasn’t even obvious. All there was, was a sign but no ropes to indicate there was a line up. That didn’t exactly sit well with me before my meal began. I just thought of it as whatever since she wasn’t going to be part of my eating experience and everything was going to get better. But it didn’t get better… We quickly got our drink orders, but it took the waiters more than 15 minutes to get our food orders. Nobody came to see us after our drinks got dropped off. I don’t know why it took so long for them to see us but I was pretty impatient at that point and something dramatically good would have to happen for me to have a good time. Lucky me, it stayed the same. I ordered their fried rice, pork belly, and their beef hot pot. For the price that you pay for the amount of food you get is most definitely not worth it. The food itself tasted alright, but not so delicious where they can skeet by with giving you the amount they did. The pork belly was fattier than I was expecting, and I already know pork belly is fat, but this pork must have not had any muscle. The fried rice was greasy. My plate was very oily after I finished my plate of rice and although it tasted good, it was probably far from good for me. When it was time to pay, the waiters disappeared again! Like yo, why do you guys disappear like that, it isn’t cool! To say the least, I feel as though it is overpriced and the service was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend going there. Chinatown is very nearby the Gold Coast, I would say go eat somewhere else in that area as opposed to here

I loved Ping Pang Pong and I guess I thought that since they were in the same hotel they would be just as great as Noodle Exchange. Definitely not ! Granted everyone raves about this place. Maybe it was a bad day or maybe they were too busy to care. Either way it was bad all around. Let me tell you why. We came in and most tables were full. Ok that’s fine I’ve been places before and we had exceptional service even though they were insanely busy. We were seated quick but it took a while before we got water or menus. The beau decided on the seafood hot pot and I decided on skirt steak and tomato fried rice. Upon placing our order I asked for lemon for my water. I didn’t get it until after we recieved our food and that’s because I had to ask for it again. Hot pot igniter and pot came out quick. I mean why not ?! All your going to do is add raw fish to the pot. It should be quick. The problem with the hot pot is this. Hot Pot with Seafood — for $ 15.99 u get a big plate full of Sole, Squid, Shrimp, Taro, lettuce ??? Tomato, cabbage, fish balls, squid balls, noodles and tofu. Not bad for the price. It would have been great if the broth wasn’t overloaded with all the chinese herbs. Just too much. I know it’s for flavor but literally it was an overload, just way too much. It should be placed in a cheesecloth so it can flavor the broth but not stick to every piece Making this hot pot so hard to enjoy, when you’re constantly spitting out bits and pieces of fennel and clove ! Eek ! We even tried to fish them out or the broth but there were just too many. Wok fried Diced Skirt Steak with Garlic and Basil with Tomato Fried Rice — the first few bites were ok. Pretty tender beef. No trace of garlic. Basil was very faint if not there at all. Then came the fat. Chunks of fat with some meat attached and gristle. I’m not a fan of fat unless it’s barely there and makes the meat buttery and savory. I can deal with that. Huge chunks of fat and gristle is not something I enjoy. Of the portion I was served more than half was fatty gristly pieces of non enjoyable scraps. The tomato fried rice was good. I will admit. Not enough to save this meal. I even wanted to order steamed buns but our server was too busy to check on us or refill our drinks. There were however other employees taking breaks passing us by and no one stopped or noticed we were trying to eye them or that our drinks were empty. Between the dreadful meal and horrendous service. This place will not be a place I recommend to anyone.
