Came to sell a few Tag watches and some diamond rings looked at and the owner wouldn’t even look at my rings. They were not large enough diamonds.

I came here and sold some jewelry that an ex boyfriend had given me. I first dealt with Robert and didn’t sell the items right away because I wanted to see what other places would offer me. This place was by far the best. A couple places probably would have given me the same amount, but I wasn’t comfortable negotiating as competitively. I came back a week later and Avery helped me instead of Robert — he was just as nice and didn’t make me feel cheap or uncomfortable like the other places I had visited in between. I definitely would recommend this place!

My family had this weird habit of gifting me with weird/collectible coins as a small child… I’ve always wanted to have them looked at and now that I am an «adult» and am in need of money for top ramen more than I need a bunch of collectible coins i decided to bring them in to be looked at! I came in and Nate was super, super helpful! He was very patient with me considering I had no idea about anything he was saying. Basically before I came in I had no idea about what any of my coins were worth and after Nate taking the time to explain to me what I really had made me feel way more comfortable! I definitely feel like they offered me top dollar and I will definitely be bringing in the rest of my stash to get it looked at!

I went to sell some old unused jewelry and silver coins that I got from my grandparents after they passed away. To my surprise, it was a lot more valuable than I had thought. They didn’t try to cheat me or take advantage of me. They were honest. The guy that helped me, Nate, was very knowledgable about jewelry and I know if I ever come across any jewelry I need to sell, I’ll come back again. Thank you.

Amazingly rude. After we got done negotiating the guy turned his back on me and waited for a response from me. I don’t know weather he was trying to rip me off and couldn’t face me or if he was just being a jerk. Nevertheless I won’t be back.

Came in to this place today to sell some of my gold/coin collection. They offered me the most money compared to every other place in town. The staff there were all pretty nice. It was a really hot day and they offered me a cold bottle of water which was nice. I’ll be back again I’m sure. They pay in cash, offer top dollar and are very easy to deal with. I highly recommend them if you’re trying to buy or sell gold, silver or coins. Shout out to Nate and Avery for all of their help today :)

BEWARE! If I could give them a minus 5 stars I would. DON’T TRUSTTHEM! Shop around 1st… We made the mistake of bringing all our new silver jewelry there after the closing of our business. they took advantage of us by not offering us the market price of silver and low balled us… and because it was a lot of silver, it sounded good to us… they offered us $ 3,000 and we needed the money so we took it. We went back to our store to get more silver and checked around this time and found out they ripped us off… We could’ve doubled the money everywhere else if we would’ve just checked around first. They are not there to help you… especially the guy on the commercial… REMEMBER! Shop around 1st… that’s where we made our mistake by going to them first and them making us believe they were giving us the best price … Sent from my iPhone

A friend and I bought a few bars of silver yesterday. They sell their bars $ 3.00 per ounce over spot unless you purchase thousands of dollars worth. Most places sell at $ 2.00 over spot for small quantities, but I’ve found several reputable sites online that sell small quantities for $ 1.50 or even $ 1.00 over spot. I was hopeful that by purchasing from this physical store outlet, that a relationship could be made to get better pricing on other items or a better rates on the fees when selling bars back, however, the fees to sell back are just as out of wack with the competition and the collector coins I saw were all twice the price as on the Internet. The reason I give this review two stars instead of one is because the guy assisting us was fairly pleasant. I’ll let you decide how much good manners are worth, but I don’t think they are worth a fee 200% higher on each ounce. It’s a large store and it must have expensive overhead or something… hopefully…but from all the other negative reviews from customers selling jewelry far below offers from competing stores only blocks away, I’m leaning towards greed as the motive for all the overpricing. I don’t think I will be back.

It has been a long time since I sold any jewelry and I would have to say I am very disappointed in my experience. I have been researching and looking for a place to sell my ex’s Diamond wedding rings. First off the rings cost me over $ 7000. It had one large diamond that was certified and had all the Paperwork. I tried this shop first. I showed them the rings. The staff were not very attentive and didn’t even pick up the paperwork. They quickly offered me $ 600 and then had someone else check it to verify. I asked how they come to that number but did not get a real answer. So I figured i would try another shop and just left. The customer service was not great and they didn’t explain how they got to the price nor looked at the paperwork I had. After visiting another shop I felt really confused so when i got home I researched the name on the building which was«Nevada Coin & Jewelry» they have multiple ads everywhere and different accounts. I am not sure what this place is doing but it doesn’t seem to be very good. I would strongly suggest researching this place more carefully and go to other shops. Not only was there weird things going on here but I was offered over $ 1500($ 900 more) by another shop later on in the day. I am still going to shop around but I felt I had to warn people about this place. I will never suggest this place because they offer far lower than other shops and they were not straight with me. I would stay away

Hi Nevada Coin and Jewelry! I was there today to sell some of my old gold Jewelry. I did a little research prior to my arrival. As expected they low balled me(fat guy wearing 20 rings on one hand). So after a few attempts from them to gain my business. I grabbed my items and decided to get a second opinion somewhere else. Just a few short blocks away, I was able to get 35% more than what Nevada Coin and Jewelry had offered! So I made another stop, same results 35% more than Nevada Coin and Jewelry. This will be my last attempt to sell anything to these guys. They simply do not give fair market value!

Ripoff place. They only wanted to give me 2k for a 13k ring. I guess they didn’t know that I know what my ring is appraised at. Would not trust.

Recently took some old gold chains and bracelets to them to see how much they would offer for them as they have sat in a drawer for many years and most were broken. Avery looked through what I had and came back with a very fair price. I explained to both Avery and Neil that I had about 40lbs of costume jewelry and they said they would be happy to go through it and would also purchase any I no longer wanted. The next day I showed up with a box full of what I thought was junk. Neil sat down with me for two hours and looked through every piece, sorting out gold and silver that I had missed. Again, they offered a great rate on the gold and silver and even paid me for the costume jewelry I had planned to just throw away.

I went here based on some recent Unilocal reviews. That was mistake. The place was easy enough to find but the customer service had much to be desired. They did the normal song and dance explaining to me that my diamond was flawed and that I should be prepared for a low offer. So guess what they offered me low. Little did they know I had been shopping around, I guess the joke was on them. Thanks for the ridiculous low offer but no thanks. I will be taking my business else where.

I went there to buy a ½ gold coin. I was there, speaking to younger guy who didnt know as much, while the«real» coin guy was assisting another customer. The«real» coin guy finished and came over, said they only had a few things, got his calculator out, and went browsing. I wasnt finished, so I was sorta of just staring at him like, «I want to see some other gold coins.» 2 other customers came and he started helping them. Im like, I have $ 1000 to purchase this, and you’re just going to annoy me like that? Needless to say, i went to sahara coins and purchased there. Terrible service, I guess the dislike helping people and making a nice bit of revenue each day by acting rude. Whatever, I wont give my money to people like that, because there are plenty of fish in the sea. But, the reason it was 2 stars and not one, is because the guy who didnt know everything about it, but was trying to help, ALSO looked at the guy like, «you’re going to help those other customers and not her?» He was dismayed too. Anyways, maybe they need to get a new guy. The rude one was about 5’6″, short cut black hair, mid 20s. I hope he’s worth the negative review for this store. FYI: This isnt my first purchase, so I know that behavior is him being rude and thinking I didnt have the money to drop. You shouldnt judge a book by its cover, i have more cash than a lot of people that walk in there, to be honest. This is all i do.

I took my EGL certified diamond to possibly sell it if the price was right. I am not naïve so I went in with an open mind and knew that I would not get the retail price. I bought the item at a jewelry store that was going out of business so I paid less than half of the retail price. The gemologist looked at it under a miscroscope and I was able to see what he was seeing on a large monitor. He told me that it was a lower grade than what the certificate states and said that if it was GIA certified, it would be worth more. I think he assumed I would accept those factors as a justification of his very low offer. NOTHANKS! Again, I am not naïve and know that GIA is probably the most consistent gemological lab out there. But I had the ring appraised thoroughly(not the quickie thing this guy did) and he took the time to clean it, talk with me in detail about the it, etc.
