I called last week for the weekends rates. The woman I spoke with said Nae Nae would call me back. Nae Nae did not return my call. I called today and spoke with Nae Nae, who was very pushy and too much for me. First, she said she would only do 3 days minimum, then she talked about the summer care. Second, she told me she could not give me the rates over the phone, and that I would have to come for a tour. Third, she told me to make appointment because she was extremely busy. Fourth, when I tried to make an appointment, she said she was at the park. She asked when would I be available to come in. I made an appointment with her at 11 a.m. Fifth, she asked how well-behaved my child was. She told me to bring a copy of his«Student of the Month» when I told her my son won«student of the month» this month so she could hang in her facility. Sixth, she asked what I did for work on the weekends. I told her I work for a local government agency. She then asked how much was I willing to pay. I told her I would come and talk to her since she was not giving out the rates over the phone. She asked if I had shopped around, and where I lived. About 15 – 20 mins later, she called and told me she charges $ 15 per hour on the weekend. The minimum she would negotiate was $ 10.50 per hour. Mind you I was looking for care from 6:30am to 4:30pm. $ 15 per hour for 10 hours would be $ 150 per weekend day.(Are you kidding me?) Her sarcasm kicked in, and she said she would not want to waste her or my time if I could not afford it. I told her even if I could it doesn’t mean I would. I would still have to come and tour her facility. She told me to let her know if I could afford her rates; otherwise, she would not want to waste her time. I told her I would call her back later, and she said she would go ahead and make an appointment with someone else. I passed!!! Nae Nae is just too much for my taste!

Nae Nae was the first daycare provider my 2 year old son went to and we are glad we made that choice. He warmed up to her so quickly and we saw his confidence with other children build up. He was only at the daycare for a month due to work schedules between my fiancé and I but we would definitely bring him back if anything changed. She works with not only the children, but the parents as well and that is something I always appreciated.
