Divey motel, you overpay for what you get. However, since I went on EDC week 2016, I didn’t really care about where I stay since all the hotel rooms are quadruple the price during EDC week. No complimentary food, limited services, but it does have a clean bathroom, beds, and air conditioning unit as necessary for the hot Vegas summer. So it did all the things needed to function(like a roof over my head), as well as being close to fast foods like Subway and McDonalds if you’re into that, as well as being across Mandalay Bay. You’d have to have some really basic and minimal standards to sleep here, but other than location try some place elsewhere on the strip.

This place exists solely on location and does not offer anything that is usually standard, like morning coffee or a hair dryer, or even kleenex. Since the floor was not carpeted, it felt a bit cleaner, otherwise carpeting in this place would have been really yucky. Old furnishings, building itself was very tired and poorly repaired. Crash pad, nothing more. Strange contrast, being in this old place with the Mandalay Bay directly across the street. We picked it for the low price, but were still disappointed. Next time will go to something standard like Travel Lodge, not far away.

absolute hell hole! an utter nightmare! I left after 30 mins… I could not take the disgusting vile smell in the room I do not recommend this place. Run down and old absolute shit! 0 Stars. Weird meth head staff walking around the parking lot, and acting weird.

Workers are very friendly! The room we stayed in was clean! Don’t expect too much! For me it was still nice! Nothing special but a roof over my head and somewhere to shower! Other than that I don’t have any complaints! Oh and when you check in you will pay $ 10 extra for your room key that you will get back when you return your key! And they also charge $ 5 for you to use their swimming pool which you also get back when you return your key!

First impression: how da fuk this motel works, why I have to check in somewhere in liquor store. What’s wrong with you? Guy at reception looks like he just came from prison. I’m a russian mma fighter with 230lb, but that guy looks scary even for me. All other people was either hookers or drug dealers. Room wasn’t that bad. But don’t expect too much, will I repeat? Never

There was no toilet paper in my bathroom when I got there, and they wanted to charge me for it even though I paid for the room. You have to lock the door when you leave since it doesn’t automatically lock. There’s no cable. The beds are uncomfortable and the sheets are stained. Definitely a very, very, I mean VERY seedy motel in Vegas where you would probably take your john if you were a prostitute. And it’s not good for the price at all, you can get cheaper and better hotel rooms if you stay in the casino hotels.

On Friday, June 1, 2012, I stayed at the Motel 8 located on Las Vegas Blvd in Las Vegas, NV. Woke up the next day finding evidence of bed bugs. I took pictures of the blood on the sheets/pillows and a picture of a dead bed bug on one of the pillows. Went to the check out desk but no manager was on site and the clerk could not help with my dispute. I asked him to call the manager. He made a comment that the owner is actually the manager but he was not available nor did he have contact information for the manager. He asked me to come back in a couple of hours when owner would be there. I felt, right then, that I was giving the run-around. Sure enough, when I returned, the original motel rep was gone for the day and owner/manager was nowhere to be found. Therefore, I explained it all over again to the current motel rep. He also said that he did not have contact information on the owner and that he was not in. He told me that the owner’s brother was in the back office stating he would have his brother(owner) would call us. In attempt to talk to the brother, I knocked on the office door and no one would answer the door. Once again, I was getting the run-around. I explained that if the owner’s brother was in the back then why can’t the brother call the owner to help us? Obviously, he would have his brother’s phone contact. It was also obvious that no one was in the back office. The motel rep said that my name/phone # had been given to the owner/manager by the earlier hotel rep and that I should expect a call. Today, 6/6, and still not a phone call from the owner. Also, while on premises, I talked to the maintenance man and he explained that they’ve had bed bug problems in our room(room #100) in the past. He said that they embalmed the room twice. He explained that they used the«do it yourself» kit both times and a professional was never used. You would think that if their first efforts did not work that they would call on professional. They continue to run a business knowing they have bedbugs.
