Just switched from ATT to Metro PCS and cut my bill more than ½. Unlimited everything including LTE on same network as T-​Mobile and simultaneous talk and data. New bill: $ 60/​mo.
Ask for the awesome Vanessa. She was exceptionally patient and helpful — Mom was with me with a lot of questions.

I went in last Thursday to switch my sim card over to a new phone… the lady at the counter told me I’d have to buy a new sim card because the sim card in my old phone is «connected» to the phone and cannot be used in the new phone. I knew she was lying and trying to charge me an extra $ 10, so I told her I didn’t have the money and went to the Metro Pcs on Rainbow/​Spring Mtn and they successfully switched my sim card over.
I don’t appreciate liars, so I won’t be going to this Metro P.O.S location again.

$ 30 service deal is a scam if you’re already a customer. No way to do it with existing phones, meaning you have to buy a new phone or pay for services you don’t want or need.
I had to make two trips in to get the correct information as well. The first trip, I was told it was only 4G, not LTE. The second trip, after I printed out the website that says «up to 4GLTE» speeds, I was told that it was only certain phones, which I didn’t have. I was also informed that it was less data, which is what I want. I don’t use it a lot, so I don’t want to pay $ 40 when I can use the same and pay $ 30. I feel lied to and overall taken advantage of. I don’t recommend this at all.
