This was a very funny show! I enjoy the intimate size of the theatre, the cast is very funny and as the ads say«Men love it too! «That could not be further from the truth! Go see it!

Awesome show! Never really had much interest in going before. Guess I thought it was only funny for those already going through the change. Had an opportunity to go for a work event. Still wasn’t particularly enthusiastic but it was free and there was a cocktail reception beforehand. Free food and drinks… I’m there! I’m so glad I went!!! This show is hilarious and the women in it are so incredibly talented. Fun upbeat tunes that we all know and love with the lyrics altered a bit to go with the story line. I looked around the room and it was nice to see not only all age groups enjoying themselves but the men too! I think the men may have been laughing harder than the women!!! I would definitely recommend this show to anyone looking for a great time.

This show us absolutely hilarious. Prices range from $ 40 and up. The seats we had gotten were all the way in the back up against a wall. However, the tables that were in front of us were unsold, so we were allowed to move up. The seat were regular chairs and tables and the theater wasn’t Very big. I’m a shorter guy so I had to maneuver myself to have a better view. They had cocktail waitresses that constantly serving drinks even during the show. That was annoying. TIP: maybe stop drink service during the show and make a «last call» type of run before the show begins. The waitresses kept walking in front and blocking my view. The show was so funny. The music was amazing and the talent was astronomical! This is a show that I highly recommend.

The cast was amazing! And the storyline… Well for anyone who has gone through it, or knows someone who has, or lived with someone who has you will relate! I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time. And the music was fantastic! It was my first time to the show, but it won’t be my last! Intimate venue which made it that much better, loved it and highly recommend!

Great cast! I love musicals and I’ve seen many over the years including Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia, Lion King, and Miss Saigon are among my favorites but I’ve been putting off seeing this one, Menopause The Musical. It was supposed to be good, hilarious, and the parody of the songs entertaining… well, it was all of the above as my hubby and I watched it for the first time over the weekend on a Sunday showing. Saw ticket offers from $ 61 to $ 75/each but I purchased a Groupon deal for $ 89 for 2 people. For those women who are experiencing«change»… hot flashes, insomnia, memory loss, expanding waistlines, failing eyesight, night sweats, mood swings, well, there’s nothing fun about these symptoms… until now! Clever parodies of popular songs from the 60’s, 70’s and the 80’s kept us entertained as they made fun of aging woes. Songs included music like«Stayin’ Alive»(Bee Gees), «California Girls»(Beach Boys), «I Got You, Babe»(Sonny & Cher) just to name a few. Four ladies: a professional woman, a soap star, earth mother, and an Iowa housewife took turns doing solos, dance numbers, and chorus numbers. While I had a great time my poor hubby had a difficult time understanding some of the issues and the topics. LoL! but he did enjoy the music! The cast was amusing and all were very talented and funny. I hope the soap star(one of the women on the cast) had her real hubby participate in the audience as she singled out a man in the center of the crowd and started to flirt and make sexual innuendos to him as part of her act. All in all a fun evening. There was audience participation at the end where the cast asked women to come up on stage and dance with them. They were then each given a small gift after the show. Hope I didn’t give away too much as far as the storyline… well, there’s really no storyline, just little scenes of symptoms relating to the characters on stage.

This show is everything it promises to be! The ladies were funny, energetic and hysterical. This show is for the open minded and leaves nothing to the imagination. Men, you will get a glimpse at what woman have to go through and woman can all relate. This show is funny and entertaining for all genders and will guarantee to bring you laughs.

In it’s 10th year with 4,000 performances and counting, MENOPAUSETHEMUSICAL is the longest running book musical in Las Vegas history! While it’s true that the production closed at The Luxor’s Atrium Theater in January 2015, it immediately re-opened at Harrah’s Improv Showroom exactly 1 year ago this month where it plays 8 shows per week, 365 days a year! :)

We are a bunch of younger ladies and got free tickets… Originally we thought it would be dumb and a drag, but seriously, we all got into it and were laughing so hard our stomachs hurt. Some of the jokes flew by my head but it was a very entertaining time anyway. A little raunchy at times but my goodness, jolly good fun. If you are an older lady with your friends, this is well worth it!

Horrible staff. Front desk ladies force you to take a picture even if you don’t want one. Old usher dude has an ego larger than these casinos. I get it old dude, you’re 50 and suck at everything in life. Taking people to their chairs is the only thing you’re qualified to do. Still though, no reason to shake my hand and drag me back to your usher podium just because you weren’t there when I walked in and thought it was a self serve deal. Hope the show is better than the staff.

The play was funny and I enjoyed it. My review is based on my experience prior to the start of the performance. I purchases 3 tickets via Ticketmaster pick your seats on November 8th(almost a month and a half before the event). The total price PER ticket with all the«convenience» fees came out to $ 91.91. Remind you this was PICKYOURSEATS not some random computer generated seats. We arrived to the showroom, presented our tickets, which were taken rather than scanned and given back, and the usher takes us to our seats. As we are walking to the table I see a man sitting in one of our seats(dead center stage) and the usher tells us that there is going to be a live taping of the performance so we cant use that seat, he proceeds to give us 3 seats, only one of which was one of the original 3 purchased. I told him that I wanted the seats I paid for but he said that the guy taping the show arrived last minute so what could he do to make it better? I told him to go get the tickets and give us the seats but he was more concerned with the video guy(who turned out to be the husband of one of the actresses in the performance). We ended up sitting at a totally different table. They could of comp’d us some drinks, the guy video taping could of apologized, they could of done something to make it right. When you pay that amount of money(way over priced) you expect a great experience and mine was kind of ruined from the start. I don’t think I would recommend this to anyone and I know that I wont be taking anyone else to see it.

It was funny but didn’t pick up for a few minutes into it. Three of them were very good and natural. The brochures did not match the cast from what I could see. There was no resemblance at all. I wish the seating had better chairs. I felt the tickets were a little overpriced considering the location and ambience. Overall it was funny but not totally hilarious. Did not meet my expectations

Great fun! Whole audience stood at end to applaud. Great voices, fast paced comedy, parade of many rock classics. Better than most shows we’ve seen in Las Vegas. And nice small venue. Highly recommend this show.

Vocals are amazing, this is a show for all woman… even men because they too with a female partner suffer during menopause. This was a great show, laughed the entire time. Wait staff very prompt and well the prices are vegas. You will pay around $ 7 for a beer. Great cast and seating was no matter where your seated. Overall.. I’d do it again!

Menopause The Musical is currently playing at the Harrah’s Hotel, specifically the Improv Showroom. I came to see this musical this past Friday with my husband(yea I’m one of those wives who drags her husband to everything). I wanted to see this musical because I had heard so much positive things about it. But unfortunately, I found it to be a bit boring. The musical’s main premise is transitioning into menopause. Now I am quite a few years away from menopause, but based on the main symptoms highlighted(brain collapse aka memory loss, hot flashes and weight gain) that were joked and sang about throughout the show makes me dread menopause even more. The musical takes place in a department store and 4 women basically talk(and sing and joke) about their difficulties with transitioning into menopause. The story line is rather lackluster and the acting is just okay. But the voices sung by 4 talented ladies is enjoyable. But with a slow and lack of story line, I didn’t really enjoy the musical as much until towards the end(starting from the lingerie scene until the end). My husband, and a few other husbands as well who got dragged to this show by their wives(glad to know I’m not the only wife who does this) seemed to be playing on their phones and/or surfing the net(free WiFi at this hotel). One thing that really annoyed me was that during the show, the men who were controlling the sound and lighting kept talking. This was not the first time Menopause was shown at the Harrah’s and in the showroom, so I don’t understand why there would be talking among the men on the appropriate time to cue up the volume and spotlights. With their conversation, I missed some dialog. With this show, I don’t think it is worth paying full price. Make sure to check out cheaper tickets at one of those tix 2 night booths along the strip or on line. At first I thought maybe because I have not experienced menopause myself, but figured that the show needs a bit more work to it to make it a little funnier and maybe update the song choices. By the way, at the end of the show, the actors ask women to come up to the stage to sing and link arms with them. If you go up, you will get a little pin as a souvenir.

The Menopause is ending. Unfortunately, at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, 18 January 2015(Gregorian calendar), the curtain will be coming down for the final time on Menopause The Musical at the Atrium theatre. It will be closing its long-running, open-ended residency in Las Vegas, Nevada. You are more than welcome to attend one of their touring shows somewhere else in the nation. Things I liked about Menopause The energy, experience, and eagerness to entertain from the cast*. The long walk to the Atrium theatre**. The soul. This show had soul. Things I disliked about Menopause The absence of live musicians. The seemingly outdated recorded music. The ushers need lights which are not so bright. and superior light control while the show is going on. *They are an earful. **Walking is good for you, ya goof. It is definitely not a show meant for me(demographic); however, I was still entertained every time I attended. I am sad to see the ladies leave.

Sadly this show is closing on 1÷18÷15 But if you get a chance to watch, do it! The show is about 4 different ladies all going thru Menopause, each have a different reaction to their menopausal symptoms which is what makes it so funny. There is an older cougar celebrity, business woman, a hippie, and a stay at home country mother.
