My business partner and I took the Sniper I class as we had recently migrated form 3-gun to long range shooting. Despite learning stuff on the interweb and from others at the range, our skills were lacking. Long range shooting is very technical relative to other weapon disciplines. Our MOA instructor Tyler, a former Marine sniper instructor, team leader, and trainer of the vast majority of SoCal Swat teams from San Diego to LA, was amazing! Not only did we have a really fun weekend, but our knowledge and skills grew exponentially. By course-end, we were consistently hitting steel at ranges of 200 yds to 1200 yds in 1 – 2 shots… an exponential improvement in our skills and understanding of how to make this result happen. Course topics included everything from scope theory and proper use, terminal ballistics, using ballistic calculators, judging wind, proper form, ammunition, and learning how a spotter and shooter can work as a team. The vast majority of our time was spent applying the relatively short classroom work on the gun. I’ve taken many training’s over the years on every type of weapon, and this was by far the most comprehensive and effective training I’ve experienced. HIGHLY recommended. I’ll be going back for the Sniper II class next, and maybe even the Helicopter Sniping course, just for fun! I’m a huge fan of this company. The results speak for themselves!

I placed a time-sensitive order from their web store at the beginning of June. When the items hadn’t arrived by the end of the month I attempted contact with the business. No live person answered the phone and the messages went unanswered. Much to my surprise, the items arrived 2 months after the order was placed. There were spiderwebs inside the packaging and it seems that the box had been sitting for awhile. I can’t speak to the quality of their training but customer service /support from the store is severely lacking. **shipping confirmation was received about 7 weeks after the order was placed**

I recently took the Gunfighter Evolution I class and it was brilliant! I am an experienced shooter and a lot of the information relayed in this class is new material. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the teachers and the level of knowledge and experience they bring to the table. Both Ryan and Tyler are very approachable and willing to answer any questions any student might have. An addition to the classes they also can do cerakote coatings which give you an almost unlimited amount of creativity when building or decorating your firearms. I highly recommend Max Ordinate Academy to everybody!

I recently took the Gunfighter Evolution class with Max Ordinate Academy(MOA) and was very glad I did so. The class was very progressive in the techniques they teach. The principles taught are very applicable to a gunfighter and make sense. The fact that these principles make sense are big factors in how I understand things. I can never grasp a concept until I know the«why I should do it that way» and Ryan/Tyler were very willing to help me understand. I gained a massive amount of knowledge from this class that will change the way I shoot from this point forward. One of the things I really liked about the class is the knowledgeable staff. ALL of the staff is VERY willing to answer questions at any time, explain techniques, and be there for any thing one might need in this training. The range was a bit far from home. Which means it was a good place to train. Nothing in or near the city would allow for such training. The terrain and placement of cover lent itself well to the training and was a beautiful spot of California to deal with. I highly recommend this company and their staff. In fact I can not wait until I can return for another class, and I know I am not alone in this feeling as there were students in my class that were return students. People paying the hard earned to come back and train with the same company says a lot about the quality MOA represents.
