I have been enjoying the doughnuts here for over 10 years. These doughnuts are made by a master doughnut craftsman, they always have been and always will be the best doughnuts made in Las Vegas. I have lived here for 30 years, and when I found this shop, I have gone to no other. The owner makes the doughnuts daily, and sells out daily. He has added a sausage cheeze jalapeño crossant, as well as a 3 other diving breakfast sandwiches. This doughnut shop is one of the best kept secrets around. To top it off, in all these years there has been very little change in cost! These doughnuts are by far the best doughnuts in las vegas, once you try them, no other doughht will due.

The best doughnuts in Las Vegas. I lived in Sin City for 2 months while dieting(ha! true and it worked!) and my cheat days were spent testing donuts. I’ve tried Pinkbox, Donut Tyme, and all the others, and Master Donuts is hands down the best. They aren’t open 24⁄7 but open at 3am so if you are up late don’t miss out. Otherwise get there early when Kenny is still serving so you’ll get the freshest batch. Quick tip: If you can’t get there early you can call in and have him put some aside for you before the good stuff sells out. PinkBox gets a lot of press and their donuts are pretty, but that’s it. The taste is bland and the same low-grade whipped cream fills everything. Similarly for Donut Tyme and others in town, you can taste that they don’t use real sugar and real butter. Master Donuts is where it’s at!!!

This place is totally worth waking up early for and taking a longer than normal drive from my Las Vegas strip hotel. The owner is super-friendly and if you get here early enough, you can get plenty of options to choose from including savory breakfast pastries. After paying closer attention on their store hours, I noticed that like most popular family-owned local doughnut shops, they are usually out of donuts by mid morning. Unlike some places, they don’t skimp on the ingredients or flavors. Old fashioned or regular, their maple will taste like actual maple syrup instead of some watered-down sugary pastry with a tinge of maple color and flavor. The cream-filled donuts and crueller are also really good. A dozen donuts for $ 8 is also very reasonable.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, I had to tapper off ‘Fatpill Fridays’. To compensate, I am now the ‘bringer of donuts’ to semi monthly work meetings. There is healthier fare, probably, but at 0 dark 30 in a room full of people grumpy to be dragged into a meeting filled with obligatory ‘filler’ absolutely no one cares and I get kudo points for a box of amazingly delicious, lovingly crafted, pillows of sugar and other tasty items. Hands off the bosses Apple Fritter!

Best doughnuts in Vegas! Visiting Vegas for about 2 weeks and looked on Unilocal,as I love me some doughnuts. Went to the top 4 rated shops in Vegas. This was the best. Plenty of topping on the doughnuts. Moist, fresh, reasonably priced. The owners are really nice. Came in one morning and they were out of my favorites. Made them up while I waited! Look forward to coming back on my next visit!

Best donut shop I’ve been to by far! If you want your simple go-to old fashioned donuts, this place is it! Plus, it’s close the UNLV, a great spot to grab something quick and get your coffee. They do have a few special types, and their eclairs are unique. You can see the filling inside them, because they actually open the center. It’s actually a great way to catch your attention. Their shop is clean, spacious and has quite a lot of tables available to eat in. How did I sleep on this place? Another awesome thing about this place, THEIRDONUTSARESERVEDWARM!!! I don’t know about everyone else, but I like eating my donuts warm. Definitely my new spot to ease my cravings.

I’ve been to a lot of doughnut shops in Vegas and have even tried the more ‘creative’ doughnut shops with fruit pebble this and peanut butter banana that, but I’ve had it! I’m sticking to the traditional shops that are a better value and actually get the basics right. Kenny is the owner and makes all the doughnuts in his shop. It’s been around since like 1980 or earlier and they sell out fast. They open at 3am and run out by like 1000 on some days I’ve been in there. If I have a hankering for doughnuts after leaving the club I’ll look at my clock and realize they are finally open and get some on the way home. All of them taste great and the cinnamon roll actually smells of cinnamon! Be forewarned they charge $ 0.75 for credit card transactions.

This place is awesome! Awesome doughnuts of all kinds. The only drawback is if you get here late. their selection is limited so come early. Bearclaw is huge but this one has no nuts. its basically apple filled with cinamon. Atmosphere in there is you can hangout all day in there and play card or board games with regulars.

Went in last Sunday around 10 and they basically had nothing left. A couple apple fritters and some donut holes. When asked, the owner said«this is all that’s left for the day». For the day?! They’re open until 5, what in the world are they going to sell? We awkwardly turned around and left for Winchell’s. Screw this place. Even if these were the best donuts in the world, they apparently don’t understand how to run a business or treat their customers right.

One of my favorite Donut places in Las Vegas ! This family owned business has grown so much and every time I go in there they never hesitate to ask how I’m doing and if I’m not with my family, they ALWAYS ask how they are doing as well. Most businesses only care for themselves but these business owners take time and remember everyone who comes in. Besides the great service, the donuts are freshly made every morning and I couldn’t or wouldn’t be able to say anything about the wonderful tastes each donut has. All of them are truly amazing and I couldn’t thank this little donut shop more for being my number 1 breast fast spot before I go to work or school. Thanks so much master donuts for being the best!

Friendly and cheap with good donuts. You gotta get there early, though, because they only make enough donuts to last until 11. By the time we arrived around 10, almost everything was gone. We literally could only choose between glazed, chocolate glazed, and old fashioned with pink frosting. Luckily my girls go crazy for anything pink, so of course we had a couple of those. I really appreciated that you could taste the fried-ness of the old fashioned. That greasiness is missing from a lot of too-sweet donuts. It’s not close, but I wouldn’t mind returning to Master if I’m in the area.

ive been eating donuts here for about 11 years now and i will say that the people are always nice the donuts are always fresh and they always hook you up with a little extra after your dozen whether its some donut holes or some extra donuts. THese are the donuts you expect that comes in a big white box(normally a pink box) but it serves the same puprpose. Consistency is key and these guys have been doing it for over 20 years. They take cash only so bring a $ 20 when you come here and get a box.

I would give this place 100 stars. A coworker brought in a bunch of the cream filled variety. I wanted to STEALTHEMALL! The cream filling was like a Parisienne secret, heavenly, light, and delicious. I wish they would franchise to the back room of my house.

Iced coffee is terrible. Apple fritters don’t have any apple in them and she charges 75 cents to use your atm card. Tells you after she puts your order together.

8:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning should be PRIME doughnut time… right? Wrong. I strolled into Master Donuts around 8:15 a.m. and, to my disappointment, there were literally only crumbs left on the majority of the doughnut shelves. My first thought was«Hey, these must be some AMAZING doughnuts to be all gone this early in the morning», so I snatched that last few that were left on display. The cake sprinkle was too dense and chalky. By the time I made the drive back to where I was staying half the vanilla/sprinkle mixture had crusted off the doughnut. The chocolate cream filled was hardly«filled». I cut the doughnut in half to share the other half with my wife, only to find that my half the doughnut had NOFILLING at all, and hers had a slight«squirt» of cream. They don’t cater to coffee drinkers here either(which, c’mon guys, coffee and doughnuts is one of the great pairings of our culture). The coffee itself is «ok» but they put out no liquid creamer options(milk, half & half, or creamer) and only put out two, 99 cent store brand creamers that clump up as soon as you pour them into your hot coffee. If you’re a business, selling out of doughnuts before 8:00 a.m., you need a business strategy to have SOMETHING fresh for the«late» comers. In order to get a good tasting doughnut, I shouldn’t be limited to «crack of dawn» hours(which, again, 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday, isn’t that late to me). Will there be a next time? Sure, but just because I have family that lives close by. Let’s see if next time yields better results(I promise, I’ll even get up at 6:00 a.m. next time. But if the doughnuts aren’t «out of this world amazing», the rating remains).

I had heard a lot about this place. Looked forward to splurging caloriewise on a yummy donut. Yep, I am still waiting. Happiness washed over me as i readied my mouth for my special frosted with hearts jelly donut. my mouth watered as I brought it to my lips. I opened up, waiting for the tingly delicious raspberry, cherry, blackberry, or cream filling to present it’s self. As I bit down, my delight turned to anger & disappointment. The donut was empty. I was denied. Played for a pastry fool! I opened the bottle of milk I had purchased from their fridge & took a gulp to clear my mouth of the nasty trick of a cruller. My poor mouth was met with more abuse. I had a mouth full of putrid, mucous like, separated rotten milk. I could speak for fear of spewing this mouth tragedy all over my dress. As I grabbed a stack of napkins to wipe out my poor mouth & have a very direct conversation with the owner behind the counter I vowed to never go back, plus tell my story to the masses.

I just love this place! I can’t believe I’ve lived so close to master donuts for over a year and just visited for the first time! Very soft, tasty, reasonably priced donuts are what you can expect. The nice homey feel and cheerful staff is an added bonus. Whenever I have out of town company, this place is going to be a must stop on the itinerary. I’m definitely a fan!

A rating of 2.5 would be appropriate. I was on my way to another donut shop when a sign for Master Donuts caught my eye. I pulled in and purchased 2 apple fritters for our return flight. These were good, though a bit crispier than our favorite, Ronald’s Donuts.

We had a staff meeting one morning and had to make sure that we had snacks ready to go for the attendees, Dunkin’ Donuts was kind of over done, so we decided that to try something different, why not the donut shop that we’ve passed by a number of times! We picked up a dozen, as for some reason, it seems as though everyone on staff is on a diet! lol I was not only able to try all of them, but I had a chocolate donut and it was dense, not airy like DD and not overly sweet, it was very good! And they were such a hit with the staff. We’re definitely going to be grabbing a few dozen next time!
