Best bar. Hands fucking down. Amazing view, great service, smart bartenders and accommodating service. Like, for serious. James Bond kind of place and I don’t say that lightly. Kudos to the design team for the bar, they nailed it.

Mandarin bar is one of my favorite places to come to hang out with my friends. Great views and drinks. I like that this place is not packed, does not play loud music. Great place to relax.

This is probably one of the places in Vegas I frequent the most. It is located in the Mandarin Oriental at CityCenter. Parking is not a problem as valet can be had like everywhere in Vegas. This bar is located on the 3rd floor beside the check-in lobby. I have always made an appointment to get into the bar itself but you could also sit on the tables right outside if there’s a table available. The view is equally stunning outside of the bar and inside the bar. The hostess will bring you a menu even if you sit at the tables right outside the bar without an appointment. As it is in Mandarin Oriental, the service is exemplary. Glasses are refilled promptly. The drink and food prices is justified of the place and the quality. It is a very chill place to drink and socialize with friends.

It’s the best quietly romantic hotel bar in Vegas. Superbly competent drinks and almost free considering the gorgeous lounge and service. Ignore all other reviews. Check it out if you can.

Hidden Gem!!! This place had a beautiful view and wasn’t crowded at all on a Saturday evening. Arrived at 9:30 and we were seated right away with a great view of the strip. Our server Debbie was prompt and efficient. The drinks were a little pricey but you get a nice tray of nibbles(sweet, spicy and salty). I had the cucumber watermelon fresca, and others in my group had the grandma’s mule, hot toddy, and margarita. Everyone enjoyed their drinks! Great music and atmosphere. Check this place out if you are looking for a less crowded spot on the strip with a fantastic view.

Incredible views from the heart of the Strip, with breathtaking prices to match. Fortunately, the drinks are seriously scrumptious and creative — so much so that they remind me of the Artesian Bar in London(supposedly one of the world’s finest) — and generally live up to the prices when you take the views into account. The Hot Spot, for example, is a reinvented Hot Toddy that incorporates Hennessy Black, Benedictine, cinnamon infused syrup, and fresh lemon juice. A berry bellini(white peach purée, blackberries, sparkling wine) was delightfully fruity, while a «tea-tini» was an interesting fusion of East and West. I came on a relatively quiet night, so service was prompt, friendly, and professional. The bar isn’t necessarily easy to find, but once you get there, you won’t regret the view. Definitely worth a try.

The Mandarin Bar should be on your list of lounges to stop by for a drink while your in Vegas. Very romantic, breath taking panoramic views, awesome drinks… I had the«Smoke and Mirrors» which is a play on the original Manhattan Basil Hayden bourbon, Lagavulin 16 yr scotch rinse, Martelletti Vermouth, housemade black tea infused simple syrup and fresh lemon zest. …a must try!!!

Actual rating 2.5. Earlier this year the No1DP and I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in Tokyo and had a few drinks at the lobby bar( ). That bar is to date my second favorite cocktail bar due to the impeccable service we received and that the bartenders can consistently mix a well-made drink. It is with great disappointment that I have to write a less-than-stellar review about the experience the No1DP and I had at the hotel bar in Las Vegas. When the two best things about the bar are the view and the wasabi peanuts, that says a lot about the quality of the drinks. VENUE: The Mandarin Bar isn’t the most easily accessible bar from the hotel. Coming from the Cosmopolitan we had to cross the bridge connecting the Cosmopolitan, take the elevator down to the Mandarin Oriental valet entrance then take the elevator up to the 28th floor bar. Like the elevator in Tokyo there’s a chair inside. The view is spectacular — one of the best views of Vegas due to the Cosmopolitan being close to the center of the Strip and just as good as the view from Mix at Mandalay Bay. Seems like everyone in Vegas knows of this view as all of the seats close to the view were packed. The No1DP and I opted for seats at the bar with our backs to the view. SERVICE: We came well past midnight on a Saturday night when the bar was so crowded and busy. It took at least 5 minutes from the time we flagged a bartender to when we were asked for our drinks. We were at least given complimentary snacks as soon as we sat down. The pretzels and cheese crackers looked like they would come out of a Cheez-It box but the wasabi peanuts are strangely appetizing. I think I ate almost the entire serving as the No1DP doesn’t like the taste of strong wasabi. Though these were good complimentary bites these pale in comparison to Tokyo’s bites — their senbei was excellent and their olives are still my gold standard for an olive. DRINKS The No1DP doesn’t remember his drink, but this is sad considering that he remembers all the good drinks he’s had at other bars. — Pecan Boluevard(Considered to be a cousin to the Negroni, our fall version of the classic Boulevardier brings together William Wolf Pecan whiskey, Bulleit Bourbon, Campari, Aperol, Cinzano 1757 and bitters. Stirred and served in a martini glass, $ 18). I was drawn to «pecan whiskey» but the campari and bitters were just too strong so I ended up taking back the drink after a few sips. — Cucumber and Cilantro Margarita(A fresh spin on the margarita using Avion Reposado tequila, cilantro, cucumber, agave nectar, fresh lime juice and a dash of egg whites, $ 18). The drink was smooth and creamy but typically I don’t think of margaritas as «creamy»(they are rather tart) — rather what I was drinking was a mix between a caipirinha and a Pisco sour. Still it was mixed well and I was able to consume most of my drink. The No1DP, being used to the excellent service he can expect from the Mandarin Hotel in Tokyo was so put off by his subpar drink and the long wait for service that he doesn’t even want to stay at the hotel. I think our subpar drinks was because it was a busy Saturday night and usually the quality of drinks falls a bit when there’s lots of people to be served. Still I would like to give this bar one more chance in the hopes that they’ll serve me a well-mixed drink because supposedly this is one of the top bars along the Strip.

Gorgeous bar! It’s definitely upscale and a calm environment, but the view is amazing. The waitresses and hostess’ are very sweet and accommodating. We had called to reserve a table by the window before showing up and after we got there we asked to move to another area in the lounge and that was not a problem. I found this place because I was looking for a lounge to take my mom who is not really a drinker but loves city lights and views so this was the perfect place for us. I highly recommend going, it’s a good place to either wind-down after a crazy night out or for people who enjoy a more low-key night out.

BESTVIEWINTHECITY. I am so in love with this place when I went last night, and I am sooooo glad I chose to go to this bar after a long day walking on the strip. Yes, it is indeed expensive. But you paid for the million dollar view, great drink, and live show music. The service was great too! The server always smile, and she’s very attentive. I would definitely come back to this bar again ! You can’t beat this wonderful bar and the great atmosphere !

The Mandarin Bar(or Skybar) as I knew it, is sadly no longer. There is a small seating area outside of the previous bar where guests can order drinks and sit by the window panes. But they moved the skybar across the floor where it shares a space with Twist(restaurant). Views and ambiance are still nice, but the new views feel a bit obstructed and not as sweet as the actual Mandarin Bar. 4.5 stars for the stellar service. AKA, transporting watermelon 20 floors up in order to get cold pressed watermelon juice.

The Mandarin Bar is actually my go to lounge in Las Vegas. I mean this place is absolutely world class and legit in nearly all facets of the business. There really isn’t words to describe the beauty and sophistication associated with this establishment nor the level of service provided. From the moment you walk in, you know you’re in for a treat as the ambiance is wonderful and there are views for days. Drinks can be a bit pricey but worth every penny if you ask me. Be sure to make reservations in order to get a seat near the window. Overall, very highly recommended to those looking for a great night out, on a date and/or entertaining guests. Pros– Drinks Ambiance Service Views Location(within Mandarin Oriental) Snacks Eclectic“ness“ Décor Picturesque Quieter then most lounges Sophistication aspect Cons– A bit pricey

Bring a date here. Don’t bring a male friend like I did. Kind of a waste of the view eh? We had a great view of the strip, live music, and the best dang nuts I’ve ever had at a bar(3 varieties including wasabi). Seriously, go here just to eat some free nuts with your drink.

Heading over to the Mandarin Bar(City Center) this past weekend and I have to say that this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in Vegas. The design, service, and atmosphere were all beyond reproach. The quality of product served, the presentation and the value for what was received was right on point. Would you expect anything less from MO? Now for the details — My brother and I took a cab over and we were greeted by a very pleasant bell staff who pointed us to the elevators to the right side of the lobby. There we were whisked up to the 23rd floor where we were welcomed by stunning floor to ceiling views of the strip. To the right we could see the bar and top shelf product displayed just beyond some gently parted curtains, luring us in. Upon arrival we were asked if we were hotel guests to which we replied no, but no matter, we were treated no differently. Upon seating we received very bespoke/professional luxury service. This is not over the top, flaunting service — it’s polished, professional and on point — just the way true classic luxury should be. We each had three cocktails(The Elyx, The ultimate Mojito and, of course, The Berry Bellini, which was fabulous, by the way…) — presentation was absolutely stunning and the taste was perfect. We also had Chicken Satay and edamame. The food came quickly, just as ordered and tasted excellent. The décor is minimal, modern, and trendy. There are two areas of the lounge where one has live music and the other is away from the crowds + sounds so it’s a nice spot to relax and take a breath. The views from MO is fantastic. This was romantic, quiet, and I have to say, I really hope it stays low key and classy(best kept secret on the strip IMO). I recommend the snack and, especially, the wasabi peanuts.

This is the very best place to make an out-of-town guest feel special. Mandarin Oriental is situated between City Center and the Monte Carlo, but you won’t find any flashy, gaudy signs directing you to this peaceful, classy locale sitting quietly on Las Vegas Boulevard. Having been here several times, I knew it to be a place that leaves quite an impression on newcomers. I took a recently divorced friend here to welcome her to a new chapter in life, and what a new perspective it was for her to see the city from a serene, dark and cozy lounge high above the Strip. Customer service here has always been great and gotta love the little snack trays. Mandarin Oriental is a beautiful, quiet flower on the Strip that sits humble with her symbolic fan, not needing to boast or draw attention. It doesn’t need it. Mandarin Bar knows it’s special and only those who really appreciate quality will make the effort to see her. 5 stars, easily.

Customer service is everything! And my husband and I would always come here when we’re in Vegas. After yesterday’s experience, we won’t be coming back. Our hostess seated us at this high table and we asked if we can be seated by the window, a seat right in front of us. She said no, it’s not available. Then the couple that was behind us was seated there AFTER she told us it’s not available. Ok? After an hour and a few drinks, the couple in that seat paid and left, so we just moved our stuff to sit there. A few minutes later, the same hostess told us that she’s about to seat someone there and moved our stuff back to our older table. I don’t understand why she won’t seat us there but would seat any other couple there!?! On top of that, she gave us dirty looks when we were trying to get her attention to be seated elsewhere. Our waiter was good but after that experience, we decided to go to another bar. I would stay at the Mandarin Oriental every time I’m in Vegas, it’s my go-to place, but I will probably NEVER come back to this hotel AFTER the experience I had here. I thought it was rude that she never acquainted us after the amount of money we spend at this bar alone. No more, time to find a new sky bar in Vegas to go to.

This is it! The best of the best! Mandarin Bar stands above the rest. Classy and romantic with a phenomenal panoramic view of the strip. This bar is a diamond in the rough, a true gem. Located inside Mandarin Oriental on the 23rd floor is the Mandarin Bar. As soon as you exit the elevator, your breathe is immediately taken away with a view of Las Vegas as most have never seen before. If your lucky enough, sit by the window and take it all in. To make the experience even more memorable, make reservations in advance for a window view to watch the sunset. I came to Mandarin Bar this past weekend a friend. We ordered a couple drinks with most drinks priced between $ 18.00-$ 25.00. The drinks concocted perfectly and very strong. We were given a nice treat of wasabi coated nuts, Asian trail mix and sweet peanuts. We came at a perfect time to watch the sunset. It was just a wonderful place to be and away from it all. Mandarin Bar is five stars. A gorgeous view, relaxed atmosphere, intimate setting, good service and great drinks. I absolutely adore this place!

***This bar is a hidden gem; located on a high floor in the Mandarin hotel(part of CityCenter), Mandarin Bar features a comfortable and upscale lounge/lobby seating area where you can order food and drinks as well as enjoy great views of The Strip including Aria, The Cosmopolitan, Paris, and much more; because this hotel does not get major traffic(the Mandarin does not have a casino), it is often surprisingly easy finding an open seat here*** The Mandarin hotel, like most major hotels on The Strip, offers complimentary self and valet parking.
