I’ve been going to Luv-It Custard since 1998. It’s one of the valleys best kept secrets especially on a hot summer night. Try it and you’ll Luv-It!

This place is great. The only drawbacks are they only accept cash(I don’t usually carry cash) and sometimes they run out of custard. I normally get a banana split.

I’ve been going here for over 20 years so this might be a little biased but this place is the best. My only complaint is that they recently removed the auxiliary menu so now you’re limited to 6 sundaes and whatever other flavors they make that day. The custard is still amazing and I’ll continue to go here and so should you!

I Luv-it! I have been to Vegas plenty of times and sure, the neighborhood is not the most glamorous, but I have walked around at 2AM in that area before and never felt unsafe. In fact, my BFF and I love to get some custard and park at the strip club next door and judge all the sleazeballs that go in, we even make up a life story for them. Anyway, you probably want to hear about the custard… I really appreciate the variety of flavors and choices that you have. Bananas? Strawberries? Sprinkles? Nuts? YES, YES, YES. I love that the flavors rotate. I have probably tried about 6 different ones and I have liked all of them. I remember orange being my favorite. They are cash only, if you take the time to read reviews you could find that out on Unilocal(they also have a big sign outside). I completely understand the policy because credit card companies have ridiculous fees for small businesses and if you are buying $ 5 worth, it’s not very profitable for them. Anyway, if you expect good custard you will probably like it. If you are high maintenance and expect glamour and fanciness, this is not the place for you but I hear pinkberry is great! Although for the $ 5 that you are complaining about, you will probably get only half as much at pinkberry BUT their spoons are pink, adorbs and totally instagramable.

I live this place. This was the best part about my trip to Vegas. Be aware it’s cash only. There is a liquor store next door with an ATM if you don’t have cash. Also the flavors change. They have a full flavor menu but you get it faster if you pick form the short list. Be kind and patient to the people who work there, trust me it’s worth the wait.

Amazing! My visits to Vegas were quite frequent in 2015 and I did not find out about this place until mid year! And the location is right across the street from my favorite arepas spot… SMH. This place is perfect for those hot summer days in Vegas. They have so much to choose from! The last few times I went to Luv-It I’ve only ordered the«pre-set» flavors, given on the menu. The ingredients that this place offers are so plentiful so I could never decide on a custom order. Maybe the next time I visit haha. This place is right beside an AMPM, kinda hidden if you ask me. It’s a little shack and you order from a window. Keep in mind it’s cash only over here. And if you’re a bit overwhelmed with the flavors they have, definitely try the ones they have«pre-set» on the menu. My friends and I have tried a variety of those and all of them have been super yummy so far. And the portions are big enough to share!

Not much to say other than this page is brilliant, wonderful Custard, so many sundae choices, never a disappointment. Great place to stop after a 51s game.

Like many a Unilocaler, I’ve had this place on my radar for-ever. Just not a fan of the neighborhood. At least I beat the crowds on this frosty Monday! I didn’t know what to expect as far as parking but there were spots right next to the building. I had the banana nut custard in a sundae with bananas, caramel, sprinkles. It was good but underwhelmed me, especially with all the hoopla about this place being the best. It’s not a location I will frequent but does offer some good custard flavors and it’s nice that they rotate the flavors.

You are all idiotic. You don’t like the price go elsewhere. You eat gelato and pay 1.5 the price of Luvit for a fraction of the serving and you’re hating. This place gets low stars and haters bc there isn’t a large following of posers. I dislike ice cream but I like this place. I’m rating in the favor of my family. Husband loves it. It’s very creamy. The employee girls have all been as nice as the old man. If you are getting attitude you must be giving one.

I’ve been visiting Luv-it custard since I was a kid. The ‘custard’ is great and it’s like going back in time to old town Vegas. There’s no place to sit so you eat in your car or stand outside and meet other customers, and everyone has a smile on their face. If you’re an out of towner put luv it custard on your to-do list. The Scotch Jimmie Treat is my personal favorite!

Despite being in a seedy part of town and lacking a restroom(you must go across the street to the 7 – 11), this place delivers some good frozen treat! The sticky creamy custard was alive! Pulling back on the spoon as I tried to scoop out a bite from the Western Sundae. Classic nuts, chocolate and a cherry on top. deliciousness! Kid got her own scoop of strawberry in a cup. This was also yummy. I’ll be back for sure!

So I’m in Vegas, craving ice cream … what is a pregnant woman to do? Consult with Unilocal, that’s what! So I check with my good ol’ pal Unilocal to see where I can satisfy said craving, and it tells me Luv-It Frozen Custard is a 4 star, 518 review type of place. So I say, ok Unilocal,I’ll check it out, and subsequently force my loving husband to drive me to this place STAT. We arrive, and I think to myself, this can’t be! Luv-It Frozen Custard is in the scariest areas of Las Vegas(well to an outsider like me). I seriously feared for my life!!! OK, mayyyybe not that seriously, but it was pretty bad! TOTAL, COMPLETE, ABSOLUTE, hole-in-the-wall! So I start to think about how bad I want this ice cream … BAD. I get out of the car … dun dun dun, CASHONLY! I turn around and ask my increasingly loving husband to go to the gas station next door to get me cash so I can satisfy this seemingly death-wish inducing craving. He runs back to me with cash and hurries back in the car. I tell him to lock the doors while I’m ordering. I walk up to the window, order, and quickly run back to the car and lock myself in. I see the girl poke her head out the window, so I unlock the car and walk back up. She hands me my ice cream, then shuts the window promptly as I am running back to my car to get the hell out of there. I try the ice cream … MEH! Just MEH! I’ve had much better at Yogurtland! I ordered the Banana Split because it said fresh strawberries and they were most certainly not fresh! This 4 star average is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy overrated! It’s more like a 2 ½ star place, if that. In conclusion, this near death experience was most certainly not worth the frozen custard! Furthermore, I will not be allowing my pregnancy cravings to persuade me this way again, hopefully!

Nearly hidden little place just off the Strip that serves a mighty good custard. I was in the mood for ice cream. I needed it. This looked like a great local option that was different from the places in the casinos, so I checked it out. It was relatively easy to find, despite it being rather small and hidden behind some other places, at least when looking from the Strip. I immediately decided I’d like it. It’s a small place dedicated to just a few things(there were only 5 flavors available, 2 of which were chocolate and vanilla), and it was clearly popular. There are only about 5 options for different sundaes, but they cover the classic banana split and a few other nice choices. Focus on what works, not on everything, I say. When I went up to the window, I didn’t really know what I want, but the woman inside recommended the Western Special, which is custard with hot fudge and salted pecans. One of the custard flavors available was Death by Chocolate, and being a bit of a sucker for chocolate, I went with that. They also had Heath Bar and another flavor, along with the aforementioned chocolate and vanilla standards. It turned out that it had pieces of brownie inside of it, so it was perfect. There were plenty of pecans and plenty of hot fudge topping this delicious sundae. I started eating it and thought it was a tad expensive($ 5.25 + tax) for the relatively small cup I got. But as I kept digging, I realized that the cup was deceptively deep, and I had a lot of custard to eat! Putting down a cup by myself on top of a BBQ dinner left me quite full and quite content. The next time I’m in Vegas and craving a frozen treat, I’ll definitely come back here. If only there was a better area in which to walk while eating the custard…

A creamy alternative to cheesy Las Vegas. A 4th generation mom and pop walk-up stand, Luv-It is a true find in a sea of chain eateries. Frozen custards are generally vanilla or chocolate, with choice of a variety of toppings. There are also a few rotating specialty flavors of the day, which today included Heath Bar, Peach, and Champagne Cherry. Cones and sundaes are available. Hours are a bit odd, opening well past Icy Treat Time at 1pm. It’s the desert. We aren’t waiting til we finish lunch to have a sweet treat, and regular eating hours are out the window in Vegas anyway. Even an 11am opening would make better sense. Cash-only location is its original on Oakey, just off the Strip. Skip the fake froyo and come here for the Real made-on-site-with-milk-and-eggs Deal.

First time at Luv-It… ordered the Swiss Crunch and Luv’d-It. The sundae had a great combo of vanilla custard, chocolate sauce, and crunch… the crunch topping had just the right amount of crunch and no nuts, which was a plus. I searched on Unilocal and the web for the best dessert in Vegas, and Luv-It was in the Top 10. The arrangement of the sundae isn’t fancy, but by taste and quality, it’s probably the best dessert in Vegas. Someone complained about the prices, but if you get dessert at any of the casino’s on the strip, it’s bound to be more money, and not as good. My one complaint: Luv-It needs to move from Styrofoam cups to plastic; the environmental will be pleased.

Très bonnes glaces bien crémeuses. Les sundae sont bons également. La glacé simple vanille est très bonne. Attention: pas de «surplace» tout est à emporter ! Voiture + clim obligée…

I’ve been going to Luv It Custard since at least 1994. It is by far my favorite frozen treat. I always go with the Luv It Special that has frozen custard, strawberries, chopped nuts and a cherry. It’s the only one I’ve ever eaten. My daughter swears by the Scotch Jimmie Treat(custard, Carmel, chocolate sprinkles and sliced bananas). The location is not the safest but it’s been here for years through the good and the bad. No one has ever bugged me though. If you want a sit down place, you won’t get that here. Just good frozen custard. Eat it in your car!

Luv its has never failed me. I’m Plain jane when it comes to custard so I either just get 2 scoops of vanilla or a cookie and cream milkshake. They only accept cash so be sure to stop at the bank before you come here. They are open pretty late on the weekends, so when you are having that late night craving be sure to come to luv its. The quality of the custard is so great it’s so thick and creamy. My boyfriend orders the junior sundae every time and I must say there fudge is die for. They have their weekly flavors daily so it keeps its exciting every week there’s a new flavor to try. One day I will venture out and try more flavors but for now I’ll take the cookies and cream milkshake

Yummy frozen custards. The prices are kind of expensive at $ 6 a serving. The store is a small hut and you order at the counter and eat outside. The surrounding area is pretty ghetto. While we were eating a bum approached us twice and asked for change. Luv it frozen custard — $ 5.75(the first item) — Solid 4⁄5 –Custard had nice consistency & was yummy. Served w/cherries, small nuts, and cherry syrup. TIPS: –Cash only –Area is pretty ghetto. –No seating. Order at a counter and eat at the street. –Located across the street from Viva Las Arepas(A solid Venezualan restaurant. Check that out too) =)

I’m obsessed. Best Frozen custard in town. This hidden shack on a side street of busy Las Vegas Blvd. Located between the strip and Down Town Las Vegas. Unless you knew about it from obsessed locals I have no idea how this place markets. Being the only location in town, business is booming. I am not a dessert person and ice cream being at the bottom of my list of sweets I’d actually eat. So you can imagine I was throwing a fit the first time my friends suggested we grab frozen custard after dinner. They offer your traditional flavors of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and a wild card special. Could be pistachio or my friends favorite blue moon etc. I ordered vanilla and wow I was hooked. So hooked I came back the next day after my afternoon class. Keep in mind odd hours. 1:00pm — 11:00pm. Okay maybe odd for me, I mean who has ice cream for breakfast? I WASN’T THEONLYONE circling the shack around 12:00pm looking to score some delicious custard. I came back an hour later and not even 5 minutes of being open. They had a line.
