So good, there is no better food. My mom LOVES everything on the menu. I recommend the millanesa and alambre. BTW my mom loves their tostadas

Delicious food! The mole enchiladas are to die for. The place needs to expand is very small and the seating is very limited other than that no complaints at all with their food and service.

It’s a tiny hole in the wall in a sleazy shopping center, but wow, that torta was so delicious. For the first time ever, I tried a torta. I always passed them up since I figured a sandwich is a sandwich, but I was wrong. The torta is mainly a hot sandwich with different type of fillings than what an American sandwich would have. I had the Cuban. It had both roasted pork and ham with melted Mexican type of cheese, tomatoes and maybe guacamole. It was so good and I’ve been back to have it again. Now I’m hooked on tortas. My Mexican friend, who had been there, told me to try the pierna. It was good but not as good as the Cuban. I tried their rice, beans and tacos. They were only OK. The service is friendly and good. I definitely will be back for my Cuban torta fix!

Saw a previous review of someone unimpressed with the Consume Loco and was prompted to write a rebuttal. Perhaps they forgot, or did not know, to add the lime and salsa to taste? All my childhood summers were spent in La Capital and nearby Cuernavaca, this is authentic as it gets. I even get flashbacks of my aunts with every bite. I dare you name a place in Vegas that comes anywhere close.

Los Antojos is a small little restaurant with amazing food. Located in a unpretentious area of Eastern and Sahara, Los Antojos does not disappoint. Bringing their food and culture from Mexico City, the restaurant has a friendly and laid back atmosphere with the best hurrache in town, my favorite is the alambre hurrache. With Familia P. Luche on the tv and families laughing Los Antojos is simply the best. All the food is excellent there. A must for locals and visitors :)

I’ve been coming here for the last five years. I live on the other side of town on Blue Diamond in Fort Apache. However, every time I feel like In a mood for some good authentic Mexican food, I drive all the way here(yes they are that good). They serve the best Alambre in town. The place is not the fanciest, but if you were able to look past that you would not mind the good food.

Everytime I pass by this place I have to stop and grab a bite. The consommé is simply made with a generous portion of chicken, avocado, and rice. The flavor is savory, and comforting inducing feelings of home. It is absolute perfection! I suggest ordering the largest size because you’ll be craving more!

I’ve had Los Antojos bookmarked for quite some time and I had a show not too far away so I took the opportunity to remove a bookmark. Based on recommendations from Unilocal friends I read, the consommé was a no brain order. I added two tacos to the order also, one pollo con mole and one al pastor. Two things keep this from being a four star review. The consommé was only lukewarm and should have been hotter. The flavors were excellent, however. The tacos were good but it was my mistake to order them at the same time I ordered the soup. They sat there as I finished my soup. This was my error. When I return, I’ll order like I would at a tapas place and enjoy each part while it’s hot, hopefully, and then order the next dish. The room is small and very pleasant. I was surprised by the lack of customers because the parking lot was filled. Someone pulling out gave me a spot. There are so many places in this small plaza that I can see where parking would be an issue.

Total hole in the wall. I’m always the only white boy in the place. But you know it’s good as many Mexicanos with their whole families arrive here regularly. Huge menu. The Hispanic guys at my place of work will vouch for the excellent consome loco, a fresh homemade chicken and rice soup served with avocado — hits the spot during cooler seasons. Normally they hate all mexican places in town but they like this one, so that’s all you need to know.

I’ve only had one item on the whole menu. El consome loco… I am sure everything else must be just as good but I can’t come here and not order the consome. One day I will attempt to eat something else… Or maybe not.

I been frequenting this place for the last 6 years. The food is really authentic Mexican Food. The place is not the fanciest nor the biggest, however, the flavor, quality and portions of the food makes it an 5 star rating. I live 45 minutes from here, but the food makes the trip wort it.

This place has one of my favorite dishes in this town. And while I know everything they put out in this place is not perfect, the consistent perfection of this one dish garners them five stars in my world. CONSOMMÉLOCO Consommé is a clarified chicken stock. And theirs is a complex concoction served with chicken pieces(white meat only), rice, cilantro, onion, and avocado. And I add a few hearty squeezes of lime for good measure. It’s soulful and simple and demands attention. I always get the soup and a carne asada quesadilla. The deed fried quesadilla is always perfectly seasoned and crisp. The gooey cheese and crispy pocket puts those(healthier, lighter) quesadilla to shame. Aside from that amazing soup and the delicious quesadillas, they are one of the few places that has a deeply interesting and flavorful sauce on their chilaquiles. I’ve tried their tacos and a few other plates and been satisfied. Not overwhelmed, but satisfied. I would not recommend their tacos when there are so many other great things to try at Antojos. That said, I have such respect for the consistency and quality of the food coming out of this place. I’m always surprised that they are not more crowded. Oh, there won’t be many open tables when you get there for lunch, but you’ll order and be served very quickly. I don’t know if this place is still considered a hidden gem since it has been lauded and discussed in a number of publications. But it is one of the rare gems in this valley. And I can’t wait to go back.

Bookmarked this place after seeing their PAMAZOTORTA listed in an issue of LV Weekly, as one of the Top 10 Mexican Meals of the city. I don’t remember the ranking, but the description was enough to motivate me to seek this place out. I ordered the torta and a mushroom quesadilla, based on another review. The quesadilla is damn delicious when you actually get something in your bite that isn’t just cheese. Wish the mushrooms were more plentiful, or more evenly distributed, because once you get that perfect bite, there’s no going back. But back to the torta that originally brought me in. To say I was underwhelmed is an understatement. Even digging in right after I received my order, the bread was soggy with grease to the point that it was difficult to eat. I know better than to expect something healthy when I eat Mexican, but this was overkill. What was most disappointing was the flavor: there really wasn’t any. I could tell I was eating potatoes, and in addition to the grease, I stumbled upon some crumbles that let me know my meal contained chorizo, but nothing had flavor. I added salt, I added salsa, but there was no perking up this dish. I don’t know how this torta made anyone’s list of great foods, or if I simply received something other than what they usually serve– but this is not something I’d care to eat again.

Best garnacha place that it has food from Mexico City. Everything is delicious. My favorite disches: Quesadillas, Pozole, Chilaquiles and Guarache Space is little.

I like this place because of the«hole in the wall» atmosphere and it’s family owned. The reason I return over and over is because of the chili rellenos. They make it right on point here and the sauce is seasoned and mild.(** = Must try) PROS: Chili Rellenos** Bottled Coke Lengua Torta Chicken Consommé** CONS: Carne asada meat is on the tough side Loud TV

I’ve never been one for Mexican food but this place has changed my mind. Most items seemed to be small plate-esque so I ordered two small looking items to get variety: sopes and quesadillas. The cashier went out of his way to explain that the quesadilla wasn’t the typical quesadilla but through the pictures I had figured as much. It was smaller than what we typically expect and it was fried… still cheese filled and amazing. The sopes was a corn shell with beans lettuce and sour cream on it. They had other varieties but went with vegetarian. Both items were under $ 3 which makes for a cheap lunch. They also offer soda pop in the old retro glass bottles which is kind of cool. Now, why I almost take away a star. A man walked in to apparently try and sell customers some items… meanwhile the cashier/maybe owner/manager locks the door. Maybe I am just paranoid but it felt like they were trapping us in there. There just seemed to be a lot of looks being shot around the room and it was freaking me out. If I am in vegas again I would surely stop in but mayhaps take it to go. But seriously, amazing food!

I don’t get over to the east side often so Los Antojos has been on my to try list forever, but I finally had the opportunity to give it a try. Walking in, I was overwhelmed by the menu. I wanted one of everything. I settled on the enchiladas with mole. I don’t find it too often outside of my visits to Mexico so I had to try it. The husband ordered something else that sounded delicious. I don’t recall now what it was because there was a mix up in the kitchen and they served two orders of mole. It mattered none to us. No sharing needed. Although, the mole sauce was bit too bitter. When I find myself in the area I’d seek our Los Antojos again and try another menu item.

Finally! Mexican food with SOUL… with 2 strikes(Casa Don Juan, and Las Islitas) I guess third time’s the charm… Los Antojos does Mexican food typical of Mexico City and they do it pretty good! Inside is very modest with simple tables and chairs and pictures and signs of different dishes they offer. Sorry, you won’t find Quesadillas that the general American public is familiar with, nor will you find Burritos here… you have been warned. We ordered some Tacos-Tripa, Lengua, Suadero, Cochinita Pivil, and Mole de Pollo. We also got the Consommé Loco, Quesadilla de Rajas and a Huarache de Asada. I also got an Horchata-Homemade, not from the machine/instant. All of the tacos were good, but the standout was the chicken mole, just like mole should taste. The Consommé Loco is a perfect example of simple food done right, DO get this if you ever dine here! Our first spoonful of this soup, the lady behind our counter saw our smiles and said«Como Su Casa”(«Just like home») It did feel as if we were guests in her home as she and her husband always checked on us to see that everything was okay. The Quesadilla was different in a good way… deep fried masa stuffed with cheese and strips of poblano peppers with a crisp exterior. The Huarache was good, but the carne asada was a little tough. We shared a cup of Strawberries and Cream and a Peach Gelatina for dessert. Overall, a good dinner, and definitely worthy of a return visit. You never know if you’ll run into Chef Alex Stratta-Yup, this is his spot for Mexican fare… ALOHA!!!
