Hair’s The Deal

I walked in and was able to get in right away. I have very long thick hair. The lady that I had (I can’t remember her name) started washing my hair and telling me how much she hates doing long hair hair cuts. Then after washing my hair she keeps telling how difficult it is to comb my hair cuz it’s so thick. After she kept telling me how much she doesn’t like doing my type of hair she asked what I wanted to do to it. Not wanting her to mess my hair up sense she hates doing it, I asked that she just take off 2 inches. After she was done I noticed my hair was very choppy and uneven. I was very disappointed with the haircut and the way she did nothing but tell me how much she hates my type of hair. Very unprofessional, will not be going back.

First time at this salon and definitely a keeper. Very nice comfortable boutique set up with friendly staff.
Angie brought new life to my dead split ended hair and was very helpful in suggestions on what to do as care for my hair!

Great place. I am a mom of twin boys and rarely get a minute to myself. Was able to get an appointment with Cece and she was awesome. Great place for those on the go. 10 times better than the chains. Will be back.

I love this hair salon! This hair salon is right next to the nail salon I get my manicures and pedicures (Serene Nails), so I decided to check this place out. The lady that helped me out was Cathy, I usually go around 9am-​10am, right when they open, and she was very friendly, energetic, and eager to help me out.
My side bangs were very long and were totally due for a trim. She was very patient with me and asked me what I wanted, I explained to her and showed her a picture. She explained to me how my bangs would look like on me compared to the picture I had shown her. She took her time and made sure I liked the way my hair was turning out throughout the whole process. I have gone to her twice for my bangs and a trim off my split ends. It was a total of $ 16 because I checked in and got $ 2 off the original $ 18.
She cuts my boyfriend’s hair as well and she did a great job on his buzz cut! He will be going to her from now on, instead of great clips. He loved that she took her time, and went back over it with the razor after she was done to make sure she didn’t leave any stray hairs. She also offered to wash his hair after the cut because it comes with the service. His cut was $ 12 and she gave him a stamp card as well which is super! I believe, you go in for 10 haircuts and you get one for free. Since, his hair grows pretty fast the stamp card is a big help!

Horrible service. Waited 40 minutes for a trim only to be cut in line by someone else who the stylist knew. Backwards-​ass customer service. Never coming back – EVER!

They cut my daughter’s hair (she’s three) and they did a good job — not too difficult to cut a three year old’s hair. They cut my boyfriend’s hair and also did a good job. They cut my hair … and it looks terrible! I’m so disappointed. The layers are so choppy and straight across, not blended at ALL and the whole cut looks very amateur. I won’t be going back for my next hair cut.
Overall, I think for men or children they do a good job but for women I would go to a real (higher end) salon. it will be worth the few extra dollars.

I cannot tell you how many times I have been to a hair salon and paid money to not be happy. I have cried so many times because it was never the way I wanted it to be… Not here!!! Cici is my absolute favorite hair stylist. Never do I ever leave unhappy and she takes her times and asks questions before she starts snipping away!
I will forever come to Hairs The Deal because of how well I’am serviced there!

Got my hair done and I was very happy with the service I had there. I would highly recommend them and I will be back.

I only trust Angie over at Hair’s The Deal! She knows my children & cuts their hair as well. She always makes us feel special, & the salon’s ambiance is quite exquisite with the darling chandeliers. Mine & my daughter’s hair has gotten healthier, thicker, & longer, thanks to Angie!

I’ve been coming to Hairs the deal ever since I moved to southern highlands about a year ago. It’s hard to find a place that can workaround my schedule the way they do. If you’re not familiar with Las Vegas salons, it’s really hard to find a place that lets you walk in without an appt.
My wife has been so happy with their ability to keep my fro in check. She’s even considering coming over as well.
If you live in southern highlands this is definitely a spot you should checkout for your next cut. Hopefully You’ll have the chance to meet Sheldon too. He’s really awesome and great to talk to.

I was visiting and needed a haircut. The usual place I go was closed and the other one my stylist was on vacation so I thought this was the next best thing. The people were nice and warming and price decent but I definitely wouldn’t go back. I was covered in hair by the time I was done and hair was still super wet. When I got back home dried my hair out and straightened it. It was completely uneven, not a v shape like I asked for and bangs were too short. The only good thing about this experience was the fact that I know better to pay a little more to get what I want.

Everybody is really friendly and do my faux hawk well. The 5 star in picticular is for Angie who cuts my hair just a little bit better than everybody else. I really like her attention to detail, she shaped up my eyebrows for free once cuase she felt they needed them. She was right lol. She also helped me fix my dry scalp. Stuff like that pushes her over the top.

Found this place through Unilocal and the first time was ok. Walk in with no appointment and didn’t have to wait long for a haircut for my husband. Second time around, the haircut my husband got was horrible, the stylist did not listen to him at all and totally messed up his hair that we had to go to a barber shop to get it fixed. Don’t try your luck.

I called in and made and appointment for 1:00. For 2 kids and one adult wash and blow dry. We walk in 12:56 and no one says anything. They wind up not taking us tell 1:30. They say it’s going to be 40.00 per head. I’ve never paid more then 35 at the best salons with style included. then they say it’s 10 more for one with curly hair. So I say ok and she say are you sure. Then we had to be some where by 2 witch it usually takes 20 – 30 min. I just opted out being there wasn’t enough time. They made a comment about my daughter needing a hair cut bad. They put too much oily product on the top of the head and none on the bottom. So the top looks wet and the ends are dry and puffy looking. Witch is the opposite of what you want with a blow out. The only way this could be fixed is by getting a refund. The most expensive worst job ever.

Cici did an awesome job on my haircut! So pleasantly surprised. I’ve paid triple for haircuts not nearly as good as this. She’s very knowledgeable and gave my super straight, long, damaged hair good volume and style. $ 18 bucks for a haircut without blow dry plus extra discount for checking in on Unilocal.I found my hair stylist at long last. Highly recommend!

I called to make an appointment and they basically told me to come in at any time that day. I’m not sure if they don’t take appointments but you don’t need one. I head that way after calling, and there are three other people in the waiting area, two hairdressers. I tell the one hairdresser I called earlier and she told me to sit down. After sitting down I soon realized I was waiting behind three people with only two hairdressers!!! What??? I called for a reason! I don’t want to be waiting for an hour. After about five minutes of waiting and watching what was going on, I walked out.
Additionally:
* The place was dead silent. Neither of the hairdressers were talking to their customers.
* The two hairdressers had terrible hair. Now I’d not super picky about hair, but if it is your profession yours should at least look professional.
* In listening to the one hairdresser answer the phone, it sounded like Cici (who people like in previous reviews) no longer works there.
My advice, go to a better salon and pay a little more! Or if you don’t want to pay more, go to one of the schools around here and have a student cut your hair… They may be new, but at least they try!

Unilocal decided to remove my picture of the hair trim that Hair’s the Deal stylist did on me because they didn’t feel that it represented the overall ratings of he place. The picture was of me right as I was writing my review with wet soaking hair in December. Maybe they have improved since then but, I’m pretty sure a picture of my hair was relative to the situation.

Consistent staff, great service. Best thing about it, they take notes so you can be rest assured that you’ll get the same hair cut every single time.

I remember when I first moved to the area and was looking for a place close to cut my hair, decided to try this place out and loved it. Small place but loved that I could just walk in. Also, love shampooing, it’s a little massage. :)
