I am glad I found Ms. Gwen. I recently moved here from Cali, and had a difficult time finding a stylist. I have thick hair and I am very particular in with who touches my hair. Ms. Gwen assured me that she was not scissor happy. She will happily accommodate me in growing and maintaining my long hair. Surprisingly, Ms. Gwen was able to tackle and tame my thick mane. She asked me questions and gave me suggestions on maintaining my hair. Ms. Gwen reminds me of the stylist in LA which is quick, sassy, and straight forward.

Do NOT go to this place! It’s not even a salon, it’s just a rude old woman named Gwen, she operates in a small room behind a big Caucasian salon called High Style Salon. the other reviews on her are misleading, I went there based on them and it was the worst mistake ever, she’s disrespectful, does not care if you like your hair or not after she’s done and she does NOT know how to do hair! Do NOT go there, it’s a waste of time and money
